황천시의 항해안전 평가시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Navigational Safety Evaluation System in Rough Sea)

  • It is of great importance for any vessel under way, especially in rough sea, to be maneuvered safely with proper seakeeping performance. In this paper, the author aims to develope a navigational safety evaluation system in rough sea by analyzing ship's with the theory of wave spectrum using random process analysis and the theory of evaluating the seakeeping performance. The scope and the method of this study are as follows ; (1) Modelized typhoon mathematically to represent the sea condition in rough sea. (2) Estimated sea conditions by getting wave spectrum, supposing that the wave by typhoon is fully developed short crest irregular wave. (3) Defined evaluation factor of vessel's seakeeping performance and obtained response amplitude operators thereby. (4) Obtained the response spectrum of factors on seakeeping performance. (5) Defined and obtained evaluation index, dangerousness, relative and maximum dangerousness of factors on seakeeping performance. (6) Analyzed the calculated dangerousness of evaluation index and picked the vertical acceleration out of 7 factors as the presentative factor on seakeeping performance. (7) Carrid out the judgement of danger by obtaining dangerousness value according to steaming hour, course alteration and speed change. By synthesizing the above items, the authors suggests a computer model of navigational safety evaluation system and examined the validity of the model by computer simulation.

공용중인 NATM 터널의 성능중심 평가체계 연구: 평가모형 개발 및 검증 (A study on performance-based evaluation system for NATM tunnels in use: development of evaluation model and validation)

  • 공용중인 시설물의 성능기반 평가에서 보유 성능은 성능별 평가지표를 유목화 한 후 각 성능에 대한 평가지표의 중요도를 고려하여 가중평균하여 평가한다. 본 연구에서는 NATM 터널의 성능기반 평가기법을 제시하기 위해 이전 연구에서 도출된 평가지표의 지표별 특성과 유사성 등을 분석하여 최종 평가지표를 도출하였다. 평가지표별로 상대적 중요도를 산출하여 평가지표의 가중치를 도출하였다. 정량적인 평가모형을 개발하기 위하여 지표별 성능등급 평가기준을 관련 문헌 및 선행연구 분석을 통해 도출하고, 도로 및 철도 터널의 유지관리 시 적용할 수 있는 성능평가표를 제시하였다. 제시된 성능평가 모형의 유의미함을 제시된 평가표를 실제 공용중인 터널에서 정밀안전진단을 통하여 측정된 조사자료에 적용하여 각 평가지표와 최종 평가결과와의 상관분석을 실시함으로써 검증하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 공용중인 터널의 성능평가를 위한 평가지표, 가중치, 그리고 용도별 평가모형은 추후 터널의 성능중심 유지관리 체계에 적용되어 유지관리 전략 수립 시 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Tattooing is a performance for decorative and cosmetic marking by placing permanent ink into the skin. As the cultural meaning of tattoo in Korea is changing, the tattoo machines are widely spread n permanent cosmetic market. Though the use of the tattoo machine was increased, the evaluation standards of tattoo machine were not existed. Korea Food and Drug Association regulated the electrical and mechanical safety standards which were founded on the IEC 601-1 second edition. Also they regulated he biological safety standards which were derived from the ISO 10993 series, however, these general valuations of common medical device were insufficient for evaluating tattoo machine. We developed the standards of tattoo machine for safety and performance evaluation for tattoo machine by preliminary hazard analysis in ISO 14971. The evaluation criteria of tattoo machines are focused on the mechanical invasion. We suggested the additional evaluation items of the needle speed, length, vibration with general valuation criteria of common medical device. We anticipate that this research may be a primary stage to figure a standard regulation and evaluation for tattoo machine.

전자식체온계 기준규격 개발 연구 (Research of Developing of Standards for Electronic Thermometers)

  • The thermometers is widely used in diagnostic medical devices, and the safety and accurate performance of these devices are important in the diagnosis and monitoring of personal health. Especially, the accuracy of infra-red thermometer is highly emphasized. Here two typical thermometers are utilized for this purpose: the electronic thermometers measure body temperature by contacting to subject while infra-red thermometers measure by no contacting to subject. Therefore, the evaluating items of each thermometer are different, and the standard for each temperature is highly needed. But, there have been no international standards of each thermometer such as IEC. In this paper, we developed the standards of electronic and infra-red thermometer based on national standards such as KS, ASTM, EN, JIS and FDA guidance. The new standards focused on the safety and suitable performance for health care. This standards were applied to enact and revise the electronic medical device standards. So it can be applied to evaluate the safety and performance on technical file review. We predict that this standard will improve the quality of diagnostic medical devices (thermometers) and increase the international competitive power of domestic product.

  • This paper presents the evaluation of LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) regulators for home use. For the evaluation, several properties of the regulators were experimentally analyzed, such as the operation of safety device, the adjusting and lock-up pressure, the adjusting spring and the diaphragm, with respect to the used time of the regulators. Experimental results showed that the initial operation performances of regulators were degraded with increase of the service time and also showed that the degradation of the performance and material property could become serious after about six-year-use of the regulators.

  • 선진국의 고령사회 도래 및 웰빙 확산, 중국, 인도 등 후발 공업국의 급성장에 따라 최근 전자의료기기시장이 크게 확대 되고 있다. 이중 다소비 생활밀착형 전자의료기기중 하나인 개인용전기자극기는 통증완화, 재활치료, 근육운동 등의 목적으로 사용되는 전기자극기로써 가정에서 개인적으로 사용하는 만큼 그 안전성 및 성능 확보는 사용자의 측면에서 매우 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 현재 개인용전기자극기에 대한 안전성과 유효성을 평가하는 가이드라인이 아직 마련되지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국제수준에 부합하는 개인용전기자극기의 안전성과 성능을 평가하기위해 관련 국내외 규격을 검토하였고 시험항목, 기준 및 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 제안된 시험항목에 대한 시험검증을 통하여 최종적으로 국제 조화된 안전성 및 성능 평가 항목을 도출하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 개인용전기자극기의 품질 및 안전성 향상을 도모함으로써 국내 전자의료기기산업의 국제 경쟁력 확보에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

5 Nm3 /hr급 알카라인 수전해 시스템 안전기준 분석 및 안전성능 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Safety Standard and Evaluation of Safety Performance for the 5 Nm3 /hr Class Alkaline Water Electrolysis System)

  • 풍력에너지는 낮에 비해 야간에 많은 잉여전력을 발생시키기 때문에 야간에 생산되는 전력은 버려지고 있는데, 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 풍력 등 재생에너지를 연계한 수전해 하이브리드 시스템 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 하이브리드 시스템 안전성 향상을 위해 국내 외 수전해 시스템 기준의 평가항목을 분석하였고, 평가 항목을 토대로 수전해 시스템의 안전성능 시험항목을 도출하였다. $5Nm^3/hr$급 수전해 시스템의 안전성능 평가를 위하여 시험항목 중 효율측정시험, 수소발생압력시험, 수소 순도시험을 평가하였다. 그 결과 수소발생량은 $5.10Nm^3/hr$, 스택효율은 $4.97kWh/Nm^3$로 산출되었고, 이때 발생한 수소의 순도는 99.993%로 국제기준 ISO 14687, SAE J2719에 명시된 순도보다 높은 순도의 수소를 생산하였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 수전해 시스템의 구축과 안전성능을 평가에 도움이 될 것이라고 기대한다.

  • The railroad facilities are intended for long-term operation as the initial acquisition costs necessary for infrastructure construction are high. Therefore, regular maintenance of railroad facilities is essential, and furthermore, system reliability through systematic performance evaluation is required. In this study, the signal control system of railroad electrical equipment was selected as the subject of research and the performance evaluation target facility selection study was conducted using AHP. The results of the study can contribute to the reliability of the signal control system as well as to the reliability of the railroad system, which is a higher system.

자율주행 안전성 평가 시나리오 개발 및 검증 (Development and Validation of Safety Performance Evaluation Scenarios of Autonomous Vehicle)

  • Regulation for the testing and operation of automated vehicles on public roadways has been recently developed all over the world. For example, the licensing standards and the evaluation technology for automated vehicles have been proposed in California, Nevada and EU. But specific safety evaluation scenarios for automated vehicles have not been proposed yet. This paper presents safety evaluation scenarios for extraordinary service permission of automated vehicles on highways. A total of seven scenarios are selected in consideration of safety priority and real traffic situation. Six scenarios are relevant with lane keeping and one scenario is relevant with lane change. All scenarios are developed based on existing ADAS evaluation scenarios and repeated simulation of automated vehicle algorithm. Safety evaluation factors as well as scenarios are developed. The safety factors are based on existing ADAS ISO requirements, ADAS safety factors and current traffic regulations. For the scenarios, a hunter vehicle is needed in addition to automated vehicle evaluated. The hunter vehicle performs multiple roles like preceding vehicle, cut-in vehicle and so on. The hunter vehicle is also automated vehicle equipped with high performance GPS, radar and Lidar. All the scenarios can be implemented by driving a lap on a KATRI ITS test track. These scenarios and safety evaluation factors are investigated via both a computer simulation and an experimental vehicle test on the test track. The experimental vehicle test was conducted with two automated vehicles, which are the evaluated vehicle and the hunter vehicle.
