응급실 이용현황과 환자의 간호만족도 조사연구 (Patients Satisfaction with Nursing Care in the Emergency Department)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe patients satisfaction with nursing care in the emergency department and factors influencing satisfaction rates. 1. The mean score of patient satisfaction with nursing care in the emergency departments was 2.70. The mean scores of patient satisfaction with different aspects of nursing care services were 3.05 for nursing services for psychological safety: 2.67 for technical competence: 2.49 for information giving: and 1.35 for discharge teaching. 2. Patient satisfaction with nursing care services provided. according to the general characteristics of the patients. was revealed as being significantly high for the groups of patients made up of those who were male. those over 51years of age. married subjects. those with an education level of high school or below level. housewives. Buddhists. and those in the middle economic level. Patient satisfaction with nursing care according to their service utilization in the emergency departments revealed that satisfaction was significantly high for patients who were in internal medicine. neurology or psychiatry. those admitted for the first time. those for whom the distance from the department to home was less than 30 minutes. patients who visited between monday and Friday and between 8AM and 4PM. patients who did not have to wait to be seen and those who stayed in the department less than 24 hours. 3. The correlation between the patients' general characteristics. nursing service utilization of the patients in the department and their satisfaction with nursing care showed that patients with longer waiting time had lower satisfactory scores for nursing service. 4. The registered nurses working in the emergency department reported that the main reasons for low satisfaction rates included 'over worked nurses' and 'too many patients' in the emergency department. In conclusion. the results of this study suggest the necessity of developing relevant nursing interventions for discharge teaching to increase patient satisfaction with nursing care services in emergency departments: and the need for adequate support from hospital administrators to improve patients' service utilization.

AHP를 이용한 의료기기 벤처기업의 신용평가모형 (Credit Evaluation Model for Medical Venture Business By the Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 꾸준한 성장세를 보이고 있는 의료산업의 국내벤처기업에 대한 신용 평가를 위해 먼저 기업의 재무 요인과 비재무 요인을 구분하여 평가지표를 개발한 다음 Saaty(1980)의 계층분석과정(Analytic Hierarchy Process; AHP)방법론을 적용하여 각 지표의 중요도(가중치)를 산출함으로써 의료벤처기업의 신용평가모형을 제시한다. 재무요인의 상위지표로는 수익성, 안전성, 활동성, 성장성, 생산성을 선택하였고, 각 상위지표에 대해서는 2개씩의 하위지표를 정하여 모두 10개의 지표를 설정하였다. 또 비재무적 요인의 상위지표로는 경영자 능력, 기술성, 시장성, 사업성, 신뢰성의 5개 영역을 정하고, 각 영역에 대해 2-5개의 하위지표를 정하여 모두 17개의 지표를 설정하였다. 신용평가지표에 대한 평가를 위해 원주의료기기클러스터 내 소재하고 있는 금융기관 및 보증기관의 심사역을 대상으로 설문조사를 한 후 이를 분석하여 평가지표에 대한 가중치를 산출하였다.

  • 효율적 경영활동과 경쟁우위 확보 및 고객관계 경영을 죄하고자 하는 기업들은 정보시스템 투자 비율을 확대하고 있다. 그러나 현실적으로 볼 때 투자를 위한 의사결정 단계에서 검토되었던 정보시스템의 기대가치와 실현가치 간에는 예상치 못했던 격차가 발생하는 경우가 빈번하다. 또한 최근 e비즈니스 전략을 적극적으로 추진중인 기업들은 SCM(Supply Chain Management), ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM(Customer Relation-ship Management) 시스템을 상호 연동하고자 하는 요구가 증대되고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들의 경우 개별 정보시스템 단위의 성공 요인들에 대한 연구가 대부분이고, 이들 시스템 간의 연동이나 시스템 구축이후 발생하는 조직 내외적인 장애요인 관련 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이들 시스템을 구축하여 운영중인 기업들을 선정하여 시스템별 그리고 시스템 간의 투자 전후가치격차 유발 요인을 규명하고자 하였다. 연구결과는 기업의 정보시스템 투자 의사결정시 반드시 사전에 고려하여야 할 가치격차 유발 요인들에 대한 통찰력을 제시할 수 있을 것이며, 관련 분야 연구의 실증적 접근을 위한 토대를 제시할 것이다.

A Study on the Export Priority Indicators of Rice Processed Food for Export Business

  • As the trade among the countries increases, domestic agriculture is facing a crisis. Especially domestic rice industry is suffering from the rice market opening problem and the domestic rice industry itself. As a counter measure against this, despite the promotion of the rice processing food industry, the export of rice processed food has decreased by an average annual rate of 12.3% since 2011 due to the lack of customized export strategy, such as low price competitiveness, insufficient quality and brand management. As a measure, we selected indicators to prioritize establishment of export strategy of rice processed food business and used AHP methodology to draw the weight for each indicators. The selection of export strategy prioritization indicator was based on the marketing mix theory, various previous research reviews and expert consulting. Five higher level indicators and nineteen detailed indicators were derived, and a weighted value of them was analyzed using a professional package. As a result, the relative importance of higher level indicators was 45.5% for product differentiation, 18.4% for management competence, 13.0% for export infrastructure, 12.0% for product pricing, and 11.1% for product distribution. The relative importance of the lower level indicators was 17.3% for product safety, 15.3% for product quality, 9.1% for management expertise, and 7.0% for product brand. This result is expected to be used as export strategy indicators of rice processed food export business.

Competencies of Dental Hygienists for Oral Care Service for People with Disability

  • Background: Dental treatment has shifted to the center of the community, and the public policy of the country has expanded to support the vulnerable classes such as the disabled. The dental profession needs education regarding oral health services for persons with disabilities, and it is necessary to derive the competencies for this. Therefore, we conducted this study to derive the normative ability to understand the role of a dental hygienist in the oral health service for persons with disabilities and improvement plans for education. Methods: We conducted a qualitative analysis for deriving competencies by analyzing the data collected through in-depth interviews with experts in order to obtain abilities through practical experience. Based on the competency criterion, relevant competency in the interview response was derived using the priori method, and it was confirmed whether the derived ability matched the ability determined by the respondent. Results: The professional conduct competencies of dental hygienists, devised by the Korean Association of Dental Hygiene, consists of professional behavior, ethical decision-making, self-assessment skills, lifelong learning, and accumulated evidence. Also, core competencies of the American Dental Education Association competencies for dental hygienist classification such as ethics, responsibility for professional actions, and critical thinking skills were used as the criterion. The dental hygienist's abilities needed for oral health care for people with disabilities, especially in the detailed abilities to fulfill these social needs, were clarified. Conclusion: To activate oral health care for people with disabilities, it is necessary for dental hygienists to fulfill their appropriate roles, and for this purpose, competency-based curriculum restructuring is indispensable. A social safety net for improving the oral health of people with disabilities can be secured by improving the required skills-based education system of dental hygienists and strengthening the related infrastructure.

외국대학과 연계한 글로벌 현장실습의 모형에 대한 연구: 금오공과대학교 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on Global Field Placement Model co-working with Local Partner University: Based on Kumoh Institute of Technology Case Study)

  • 국내 현장실습의 양적 성장과 더불어 글로벌 현장실습에 대한 관심이 높아지고 정부와 대학의 참여도 증가하는 추세이다. 대학생의 글로벌 현장실습은 학생들에게 선진기업의 발달된 기술과 경험뿐만 아니라 글로벌 역량을 필요로 하는 산업 수요에 적합한 외국어 능력과 글로벌 문화를 습득할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써 글로벌 마인드 및 전공 실무능력 배양, 궁극적으로 해외 취업까지 연계시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이러한 글로벌 현장실습을 위해서는 학생의 전공과 관련 있는 기업체 발굴 및 현장실습 커리큘럼 개발, 학생의 안전을 포함한 복합적인 지원이 필요하나 대학의 자원은 매우 제한적인 부분만 가능한 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 외국의 파트너대학과 연계한 현장실습 프로세스 개발 진행으로 글로벌 현장실습을 활성화 시킬 수 있는 방법을 금오공과대학교 사례를 중심으로 제안하였다.

간호대학생의 가상현실 시뮬레이션 실습 경험 (The Experiences of Virtual Reality-based Simulation in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 가상현실 기반 시뮬레이션 실습 경험을 이해하기 위한 기술적 질적 연구이다. 연구는 일개 대학의 간호학과 3학년 학생으로 '성인간호학 I, II'를 수강하면서 가상현실 기반 시뮬레이션 실습을 시행한 53명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료는 학생들이 익명으로 작성한 성찰일지를 내용분석법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 5개의 주제범주와 12개의 하위범주로 분류되었으며, 5개의 주제범주는 "필요한 간호역량을 깨달음", "지식이 확장됨", "심리적으로 안전함을 느낌", "문제 중심으로 사고함", "만족감을 얻음"으로 나타났다. 이는 가상현실 온라인 실습이 안전한 실습 환경에서 사고와 지식을 확장시키는 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 수 있음을 시사하고 있으므로 가상현실 실습을 위한 다양한 컨텐츠 개발이 필요하다.

간호사 핵심역량 개발 및 타당도와 중요도 대비 수행도 분석 (The development of nurses' core competencies and the analysis of validity and importance-performance)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop nurses' core competencies and sub-competencies and to verify the validity and importance-performance of core competencies. Methods: The core competencies of nurses were derived through an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, as well as a literature analysis of domestic and foreign accreditation institutions. Validity and importance-performance analyses were conducted on the core competencies derived from nursing colleges nationwide. Results: Six core competencies of nurses were revealed: integration of knowledge and nursing skills, critical thinking, communication, leadership, safety management, and global competency. Further, eighteen sub-competencies were derived. The content validity ratio values for the core competencies were higher than 0.74. Communication skills among multidisciplinary teams and communication skills among nursing teams were shown to be the most important competencies to be improved. Conclusion: The results of this study are meaningful in terms of how the core competencies of nurses were derived and evaluated for the fourth cycle of nursing education accreditation according to the changes of time and culture.

작업치료 대학생의 임상실습 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Standardized Clinical Practice Education Program in Occupational Therapy Student)

  • Purpose : This study is aimed to develop and validate the clinical practice education program and clinical competence scale of occupational therapy student. Methods : The development of the clinical practice education program used the delphi technique method, which had a total of five steps. Based on the occupational therapist's job analysis, the first stage assessed the importance of 21 experts, and the second stage examined the importance of 19 new specialists to derive constitutive factors. In the third stage, in-depth interviews were conducted with three experts based on the derived factors, and in the fourth stage, the final clinical practice education program was derived. In the final stage, the details of the clinical training program were drawn up based on the themes and were reviewed by two experts. Structured and unstructured interviews were conducted with 43 job experts. Results : The expert survey through the delphi technique was conducted three times, and content analysis and descriptive statistics were conducted to examine the distribution of responses. The final 11 educational program topics and contents were derived. Topics are confirmation of client information, evaluation and intervention, cognitive therapy, spinal cord injury, brain injury, musculoskeletal disorders, pediatric occupational therapy, interventions in activities of daily living, driving rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, occupational therapy assessment tool, safety training and management. Conclusion : The clinical practice education program reduce the difference between school education and clinical education of occupational therapy student. Occupational therapy helps college student understand occupational therapy practices and improve the quality of clinical education. Through more research and supplementation of clinical practice education programs in the future, it is suggested that clinical practice education be successfully operated in various practice institutions and used as basic data for designing and evaluating useful educational models.

의료시스템과학에서의 시스템사고 교육을 위한 교수설계 (Instructional Design for Systems Thinking Education in Health Systems Science)

  • Systems thinking, a linking domain of health systems science (HSS), is an approach that investigates specific problems from a holistic perspective. It supports improving patients' health, fulfilling their health needs, and anticipating issues that threaten patient safety within the healthcare system. It also helps solve problems through critical thinking and ref lection. This study aimed to develop an curriculum on systems thinking, explore the effectiveness of the course, and investigate the applicability of HSS education at individual universities. In this study, the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model was utilized to design, develop, implement, and evaluate an elective course on systems thinking. In the design process, learning outcomes and goals were developed, and educational content, teaching-learning methods, and student evaluation methods were linked. In the development process, class materials and evaluation materials were prepared. In the implementation process, the course was implemented, and the evaluation process analyzed the results of learning performance and curriculum assessments. The evaluation found the following results. First, the students in the study realized the importance of systems thinking and experienced the need for systems thinking through non-medical and medical situations. Second, the students were very satisfied with the learning activities in the course (mean=4.84), and the results of the self-competence evaluation, conducted before and after the course, also showed a significant improvement. This study confirmed the effectiveness of the elective course, and its results can serve as a reference for developing an HSS curriculum.
