  • The main purpose of accident analysis is to identify the causal factors and the mechanisms of those factors leading to the accident. However, current accident analysis techniques focus only on finding the factors related to the accident without providing more insightful results, such as structures or mechanisms. For this reason, preventive actions for safety management are concentrated on the elimination of causal factors rather than blocking the connection or chain of accident processes. This greatly reduces the effectiveness of safety management in practice. In the present study, a technique to model the correlational structure of accident risk factors is proposed by using the co-occurrence keyword network analysis technique. To investigate the effectiveness of the proposed technique, a case study involving a portable ladder fall accident is conducted. The results indicate that the proposed technique can construct the correlational structure model of the risk factors of a portable ladder fall accident. This proves the effectiveness of the proposed technique in modeling the correlational structure of accident risk factors.

  • In this paper, I analyzed the industrial system and agriculture system about safety between korea and australia. An agriculture which is one of the national security industry, has recognized the importance. International country have attention to the automatization of machine for the improvement of agriculture. However, because of modernization of agriculture, the rate of accurrence about agriculture accident has increased dramatically. Especially the rate of accurence of agricultural accident is higher than the other industrial accident in the developed country. Because of these reasons, developed country has efforted to the agriculture systemabout safety. Australia law for the safety system of agriculture is very well and the rate of accident in the self-management agriculture is included in the statistics of industrial but The rate of accident in self-management agriculture is very higher. Korea has many middle size factory to make new goods and factory accurre very many accident. Because Korea government research the theory and practical affairs for the industrial system about safety and health to protect industrial accident In future we have to try new method about Agriculture Safety of Korea.

It also presents realistic guidelines for safety education, which can effectively lead to the safety behavior of students. Methods: We carried out questionnaire survey by convenient sampling method to 6th grade students of 3 elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do area that can understand the questionnaire and express their own opinion for safety awareness from February 15, 2013 to February 1, 2013. We used a self-administered questionnaire and analyzed 266 questionnaires except dishonestly answered 34 questionnaires. Results: 1. For accident occurrence by gender, male students was higher than female students. Male students was also higher than female students among students having an accident(${\chi}^2$=5.142, p=0.029). There was statistical significance in accident occurrence by how they go to school. Students going to school on foot have higher accident rate(${\chi}^2$=11.447, p=0.010). 2. In terms of safety awareness level, students having no accident was higher than students having an accident(F=3.828, p=0.005) and students usually keeping safety rules have higher safety awareness(F=14.285, p=0.000). 3. When parents give safety education to their children as often as possible, the safety awareness level of students was high(F=5.257, p=.006). 4. Students having an accident have no safety education experience than students having no accident(p<0.05). They have never had safety education from a health teacher. There was statistical significance(p<0.01). Conclusions: Accordingly, we need to make students have safety attitude to prevent safety accidents. To achieve it, safety awareness has to be inspired. • Modular Construction is regarded as having enhanced safety compared to traditional construction since most of modular manufacturing process in plants. Unlike general consideration for safety in modular construction, several industrial accident data and studies have pointed out that the accident rate of modular construction is not enough less as much as the practitioners have expected. It means that there is a clear need for improvement of safety management in modular construction. To enhance safety, it is necessary to identify the type and cause of accident through accident cases in order to prevent safety accident in advance. In this consideration, this study analyzed the types and causes of accidents through root cause analysis procedure with accident cases of U.S. OSHA. The classification was carried out in the order of process type, accident type and cause of accident. By following the classification criteria in this study, the causal factor was derived and the root cause map was created. Based on the analysis results, cross-analysis was conducted and it is shown that activity characteristics of modular construction are related to safety accidents. In addition, prevention methods to reduce safety accident by major activity are presented in terms of organizational, educational and technical aspects. This study contributes that the result can be used as the basic safety management in the manufacturing and construction process of modular construction.

  • Recently the car and elevator accidents as well as the fire, explosion and collapse increased. The passenger elevator accident from 1993 year to 2001 year has about 56.7% of total accidents and the human victims of 180 according to the Korea Elevator Safety Institute. Accident cause and prevention were investigated for the elevator having the fall, impact and narrowness accident types. The prevention and protection methods of the elevator accident from analysis results were suggested by comparing and analogizing the accident statistics about the accident investigation of the passenger elevator according to the elevator accidents.

  • In this study, we developed a system for information sharing and cooperation support system among the accident response organizations to enable prompt and efficient response in responding to chemical accidents. In other words, by applying mobile messenger function, it is proposed to improve the chemical accident response system that provides information necessary for accident response promptly and accurately, and facilitates bi-directional communication between accident response organizations and field responders, thereby enabling efficient and organic response. As a result of comparing the information provision time before and after the chemical accident of chemical accident response information sharing system, the ratio of processing of substance information and chemical air diffusion information within 30 minutes was improved by 8% and 32%, respectively. As a result of this study, applying the chemical accident response information sharing system to the chemical accident response is expected to contribute to the improvement of the system and the ability to cope with the accident more effectively.
