It has regarded an attempt to design and construct more safe structures as challenges such as fate. In order to operate public facilities safely, It can be taken how to improve the resistance to applied load by increasing the cross-section of structural members or by installing reinforcement. But inevitably such a way is accompanied by an increase of construction cost or maintenance cost. To make a cost-effective construction, Reliability-based decision analysis which can judge the adequacy of investment is suggested using statistical data of the load, resistance and the maintenance cost.

A robot manipulator is usually operated in two modes: free motion and constraint motion depending on whether the robot comes into contact with the environment or not. At the moment of contact, impact occurs, and sometimes, it possibly degrade the robot's performance by vibration and at worst, shortens its lifetime. In this article, a new proposed algorithm is described by introducing a command signal modification method on the basis of impedance control and a validity of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by showing a simulation and an experiment.

The safe design against fatigue failure becomes more important criterion in highway bridges. The fatigue-safety evaluation is performed for the current bridge code. A reliability model incorporating fatigue damage is formulated and the satety indices are calculated. The present study indicates that the calculated safety indices vary greatly with traffic volumes and loadometer values. A method is proposed to maintain uniform reliability for vafious traffic conditions and loadings.

인터넷의 발달로 인하여 다양한 온라인 카드 지불 방식이 생겨나게 되었다. 그 중, 기존의 국민카드와, BC카드의 카드 결제 방식인 ISP(Internet Secure Payment) 시스템에서 ISP를 생성하는 과정이 현재의 인증 방법으로는 잠재적인 취약점이 있음을 발견하고, 이에 본인 인증을 강화하는 프로토콜을 제안한다.

최근 전력전자 기기와 같은 비선형 부하의 증가로 계통에서 고조파 발생 가능성은 점점 높아지는 추세이다 이러한 계통의 고조파는 부하 설비 중 누전차단기 오동작 및 과부하 등의 원인이 되므로 전기설비 안전 측면에서 중요하게 다루어질 필요가 있다. 고조파에 대한 해결책으로는 수동필터 및 능동전력필터를 들 수 있는데 본 연구에서는 기존의 3상 풀브리지 스위칭 회로를 이용한 능동필터에 비해 안정성 및 대용량 시스템 구성에 유리한 모듈형 능동 전력 필터를 제안하였다.

A set of approaches suggested to control the eccentricity is discussed in this paper. Among these, filter-integrator method is used to design the controller, which also includes the input signal synchronization, stabilizing filter and eccentricity source discrimination. Using the S/W that is coded for real time application of that controller, we simulated the operations of that one. The simulation results show the characteristics of eccentricity compensation and eccentricity discrimination. However, from these results, we can see that only proper stabilization strategy certificates the safe eccentricity control.

Tunnel fire accident is one of the critical railway accidents, together with collision and derailment. For the safe operation many tunnel design guidelines are proposed but many Korean railway tunnels do not satisfy these guidelines. For the safety improvement, current safety level is estimated in this study. But so many uncertainties in major input parameters make the safety estimation difficult. In this study, probabilistic techniques are applied for the consideration of uncertainties in major input parameters. As results of this study, probabilistic safety estimation code is developed.

Green Slope(F.F.R : Fabric Form Reinforcement Method) is one of an environmental slope protection method at steep cutting sites. This method is that soil and rock at the steep slope is fixed using the environmental Fabric Form, Nail, Rock Bolt and Rock Anchor, And then, the surfaces covered with grasses or weeds. This method will be satisfied both safe slope protection and natural environment appearance. Green Slope is a useful method of the construction sites of steep cutting slopes.

In recent years, security is essential factor of our safe network community. Therefore, data encryption/ decryption technology is improving more and more. Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem proposed by N. Koblitz and V. Miller independently in 1985, require fewer bits lot the same security, there is a net reduction in cost, size, and time. In this paper, we design high speed underlying field arithmetic processor for elliptic curve cryptosystem. The targeting device is VIRTEX V1000FG680 and verified by Xilinx simulator.
