초·중등 인공지능 교육을 위한 데이터 리터러시 정의 연구 (A Study on the Definition of Data Literacy for Elementary and Secondary Artificial Intelligence Education)

  • AI 기술의 발달은 우리 삶의 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 생활 속에서부터 사회, 경제에 이르기 까지 AI의 영향력이 커짐에 따라 AI와 데이터에 대한 교육에 대한 중요성이 함께 커지고 있다. 특히 OECD 교육 연구 보고서 및 다양한 국내 정보과 교육과정 연구에서 데이터와 데이터 리터러시를 다루고 필수 역량으로 제시하고 있다. 국내외 연구를 살펴 보면 데이터 리터러시에 대한 정의는 연구자들 마다 그 구체적인 내용과 범위가 다른 것을 알 수 있다. 이에 데이터 리터러시 관련 주요 연구의 정의를 다각도로 분석하여 도출하고자 하였다. 주요 연구에서 데이터 리터러시를 정의를 하는데 사용된 단어 빈도 분석과 함께 Word2vec 자연어 처리 방법을 활용하여 의미 유사도를 분석하고 교육과정 연구의 내용요소를 바탕으로 최종적으로 유목화하여 '데이터를 읽고 쓸 수 있으며, 실생활의 문제를 해결하기 위해 데이터를 이해하고 사용하여 정보로 처리하는 지식 구성의 기초 능력' 의 정의를 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 데이터 리터러시의 정의를 바탕으로 내용이 수정 보완되고 더 많은 연구가 이루어져 학생들의 미래 역량을 키워주는 교육 연구에 좋은 기초 자료가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

독도 서도 및 동도 남부 해안의 파식대 지형 발달 (Geomorphological Development of Shore Platforms at Dongdo and Seodo in the Southern Coast of Dok-do Island)

  • The shore platforms at Dok-do could be an important and clear indicator showing dimensional reduction of Dok-do. Especially flat type shore platforms are distributed in the southern coast of Dok-do island, composed of weak rocks against erosional resistance like interbedded lapilli tuff and massive tuff breccia. The distribution of shore platform is partially related to the wind direction at Dok-do island. The primary SW- and secondary SE winds are representative among wind directions at Dok-do, maintaining from spring to the autumn. Therefore, wide shore platforms could be developed by waves approaching from SW and SE directions in the southern coast of Dok-do. The sea stacks like Gunham-rock, Neopdeok-rock, Keungaje-rock and Jakeungaje-rock on the western coast are also considered to be formed by wave erosion from the SE direction. The shore platforms in the southern coast of Dok-do island were developed since ca. 7,000 yr. BP, when sea level raised almost to the present level. The average extension speed of shore platform was calculated to 4.0mm/y, because the broadest shore platform with the width ca. 28m was extended for ca. 7,000 years. The width's dimension of shore platform at Dok-do reflects a slow extension rate in the present, although erosional process will be faster with the sea level rise in the future.

햅틱 인지 요인 분석을 적용한 진동 촉감 인터페이스 설계 프로세스 제안 (Design Process Suggestion of Vibrotactile Interface applying Haptic Perception Factor Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 인간의 촉감 메커니즘을 반영하여 햅틱 인지 요인을 적용할 수 있는 진동 촉감 인터페이스 설계 프로세스를 제안하였다. 본 프로세스는 총 4단계로 햅틱 감각의 요구사항 분석 단계, 햅틱 요소 분석 단계, 햅틱 인지 요인분석 단계, 햅틱 요구사항 상세 설계 및 시제품 구현 단계로 구성된다. 본 설계 프로세스의 장점은 햅틱 인지 요인 분석을 적용함으로써 사용자 요구사항 도출 및 구현 시 불필요한 작업들을 배제할 수 있으며, 가장 큰 특징은 인체공학적 특징을 설계에 반영할 수 있고, 사용자 평가와 사용성 테스트, 햅틱 기능 최적화 작업을 동시에 수행함으로써 시제품 개발이 완료됨과 동시에 햅틱 요구사항 명세서가 완료된다는 것이다. 본 설계 프로세스는 사용자의 요구사항에서부터 햅틱 기능 상세설계 및 시제품 구현에 대한 전체 단계를 포함하고 있어 햅틱에 대한 전문 지식이 부족한 일반 개발자들도 사용자 중심의 설계가 가능하여 일정 수준 이상의 햅틱 기능 설계 및 구현을 가능케 할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Geotechnical Information System (GTIS) for efficient management of three dimensional borehole data has been developed. Some problems were raised during the input process of borehole data, and alternative solutions were sought. According to the previous geotechnical reports, there is no unified weathering classification scheme. A criterion, 100 times/30cm from SPT, was turned out inappropriate to the discrimination of weathered rock from weathered soil. It has also been suggested that weathered soil, weathered rock, soft rock, and hard rock should be defined as CW, HW, MW, and SW~fresh condition. For better comparison of RQD, the use of NX size coring is recommended for the whole area although BX size coring has been used in excavated area. The limit of drilling depth up to 1 m from the top of surface of hard rock should be extended to avoid possible wrong interpretation of rock head due to the existence of corestone. The input data were analysed by geostatistical methods. It is found that the range in semivariogram is about 300m, and the variance of gneiss is greater than that of granite. It is because the granite data analysed came from almost single uniform rock mass(i.e.Seoul granite), but gneiss data came from the rock mass(i.e. Gyeonggi gneiss complex experienced several metamorphic metamorphic processes.

HDF: Hybrid Debugging Framework for Distributed Network Environments

  • Debugging in distributed environments, such as wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which consist of sensor nodes with limited resources, is an iterative and occasionally laborious process for programmers. In sensor networks, it is not easy to find unintended bugs that arise during development and deployment, and that are due to a lack of visibility into the nodes and a dearth of effective debugging tools. Most sensor network debugging tools are not provided with effective facilities such as real-time tracing, remote debugging, or a GUI environment. In this paper, we present a hybrid debugging framework (HDF) that works on WSNs. This framework supports query-based monitoring and real-time tracing on sensor nodes. The monitoring supports commands to manage/control the deployed nodes, and provides new debug commands. To do so, we devised a debugging device called a Docking Debug-Box (D2-Box), and two program agents. In addition, we provide a scalable node monitor to enable all deployed nodes for viewing. To transmit and collect their data or information reliably, all nodes are connected using a scalable node monitor applied through the Internet. Therefore, the suggested framework in theory does not increase the network traffic for debugging on WSNs, and the traffic complexity is nearly O(1).

카메라 보스 및 기어의 CAE를 이용한 재설계 (Redesigning Camera's Boss and Gear using by CAE)

  • Recent trend of popularity of CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) tools and its availability, partly contributed by significant price reduction of H/W and SW, makes us believe CAE has already established terra firma as de jure tools, enablint the design improvement in the manufacturing am. However, if your jobs are required to be working closely with engineers located in the front line of manufacturing site, CAE is observed far from popularity, still being regarded as exclusive tools for engineers holding advanced degrees. Conventional methodologies depending on knowledge that was accumulated thorough trial and errors, depending primarily on engineering tables and formulas or proprietary know-how, are preferred as the de factor standard under the roof of contemporary development shops. Samsung camera, having stared its business since early 、80, has accumulated enough technological strength to compete in the world market. As today's consumers demand more sophisticated featured-lighter weight, built-in multi zoom and miniature size fitting in the palm-from camera manufacturer, so should Samsung camera respond to ever-delicate consumer's needs with great flexibility. Consequently conventional designers, without sophisticated analytical tools, with encounter solving the critical design factors that have never been treated as seriousness-marginal safety factors induced by reduced size of parts. In the study, CAE results of boss and gears were demonstrated as examples, which confirms the facts that the simple analysis done by front line designers, can bring distinguishable effects on the potential improvements of design and on the consequential influences on the future design process-simulation before actual tooling and productions.

Ansys를 이용한 셀카봉 해석 및 새로운 설계 제안 (Selfie-stick Analysis through Ansys and New Design Proposal)

  • In this paper, the FREECAD 0.14 was used for modeling conventional Selfie-stick and the newly proposed Selfie-stick design. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the utility of FREECAD 0.14, which is open-source and still in development for further use. After modeling the conventional Selfie-stick, CatiyaV5 was used to assemble FREECAD 0.14 drawn elements. Main advance in newly designed Selfie-stick is the portability. To improve portability of the Selfie-stick, folding mechanism was adopted from folding LED stands. Several mechanisms were adopted to improve user convenience as well. Ansys 14.0 was used for structural analyses of conventional Selfie-stick model and the newly designed model as well. Several simplifications for the models were needed to process the analyses. When analyzing the newly designed model various materials were used one by one to find compatible composition. Using Aluminum alloys for the stick and the hand grip was found to be compatible. FREECAD was useful for suggestion of the newly designed model but not so much useful to design an actual product. Various efforts would make FREECAD the best choice for industrial use for free as it is named.

Handover based on Maximum Cell Residence Time and Adaptive TTT for LTE-R High-Speed Railways

  • With the development of high-speed railway technologies, train velocities can now reach speeds up to 350 km/h, and higher in the future. In high-speed railway systems (HSRs), loss of communication can result in serious accidents, especially when the train is controlled through wireless communications. For to this reason, operators of Long Term Evolution for Railway (LTE-R) communication systems install eNodeBs (eNBs) with high density to achieve highly reliable communications. However, densely located eNBs can result in unnecessary frequent handovers (HOs) resulting in instability because, during every HO process, there is a period of time in which the communication link is disconnected. To solve this problem, in this paper, an HO scheme based on the maximum cell residence time (CRT) and adaptive time to trigger (aTTT), which are collectively called CaT, is proposed to reduce unnecessary HOs (using CRT estimations) and decrease HO failures by improving the handover command transmission point (HCTP) in LTE-R HSR communications.

인공지능 수학교육과정의 모듈화 접근방법 연구 (A Modular Based Approach on the Development of AI Math Curriculum Model)

  • Although the mathematics education process in AI education is a very important issue, little cases are reported in developing effective methods on AI and mathematics education at the university level. The universities cover all fields of mathematics in their curriculums, but they lack in connecting and applying the math knowledge to AI in an efficient manner. Students are hardly interested in taking many math courses and it gets worse for the students in humanities, social sciences and arts. But university education is very slow in adapting to rapidly changing new technologies in the real world. AI is a technology that is changing the paradigm of the century, so every one should be familiar with this technology but it requires fundamental math knowledge. It is not fair for the students to study all math subjects and ride on the AI train. We recognize that three key elements, SW knowledge, mathematical knowledge, and domain knowledge, are required in applying AI technology to the real world problems. This study proposes a modular approach of studying mathematics knowledge while connecting the math to different domain problems using AI techniques. We also show a modular curriculum that is developed for using math for AI-driven autonomous driving.

AR기반 교육용 콘텐츠분석을 위한 통계분석서비스 모형 설계 (A Design of Statistical Analysis Service Model to Analyze AR-based Educational Contents)

  • 온라인 교육시장이 확대됨에 따라 다양한 교육용 콘텐츠들이 출시되어지고 이를 사용하는 사용자들의 사용성과 사용자환경이 반영될 수 있는 콘텐츠 개발 방법이 연구되고 있다. 시장의 양적 확대를 뒷받침할 콘텐츠의 질적 성장을 위해서는 새로이 개발되지는 콘텐츠의 개발 방향성 확보 시점에서 기존 출시 모형에 대한 빠른 분석이 매우 중요하다. 하지만 콘텐츠 개발과정에서 개발 목표 설정에 필요한 전형적 모델의 추출과정을 직관적으로 협의할 수 있는 툴의 부재로 제작시안을 기준으로 한 반복적 업무 회귀가 개발공정에 필요한 많은 인력과 시간을 낭비하게 한다. 통계를 이용한 자료원 검증툴은 개발 전 과정과 최종 개발 결과에 영향을 주는 프로토타입의 선정 시 협력 업무를 수행하는 단일기업 내 또는 다수의 기업 간 소통의 부재로 인한 성과 이원화 문제를 공정 간에 스크린해주는 긍정적 효익으로 작용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 시료가 충분치 않은 AR기반 교육용 콘텐츠의 개발과정에 적용할 후속 현장실험 적용 통계서비스모델을 설계하는 것으로써 유사 범주의 시료 확보를 통해 개발에 필요한 데이터를 확보하는 것이 적정하여 빅데이터를 이용한 자료의 취합과 의사결정이 프로세스를 기준으로 진행되었다. 이번 연구에서 제시되는 데이터 통계분석서비스 기본 모형은 직관적인 다차원 요인과 속성의 선택과 검출이 가능한 구조로 설계하였으며 후속 현장형 실험연구와 연계하여 조직 내 또는 다수 기업 간 협력활동에 조력이 가능한 온라인 기반 데이터 통계분석서비스로 제안하고자 한다.
