2015 개정 수학과 교육과정의 초등학교 1~2학년 적용 실태 분석 결과, 대부분의 교사들은 '놀이 수학' 코너가 교과역량 함양에 도움이 되며, 수학 학습량 및 내용의 수준, <수학> 및 <수학 익힘>의 어휘 수준과 문장의 길이 등은 적절하다고 보았으나 일부 교사들은 어휘가 어렵고 문장도 길다고 인식하였다. 또한 수학 이해 및 한글 해득에 있어서의 학생 간 수준 차이가 크다는 것이 초등학교 1~2학년 수업 운영의 주된 어려움이라는 교사들의 인식을 토대로 본 연구에서는 수학 이해 및 한글 해득에 어려움을 겪는 학생을 위한 적극적인 지원의 필요성을 제안하였다.

Two kinds of cDNA encoding mouse $Gal{\beta}$1,3(4)GlcNAc ${\alpha}$2,3-sialyltransferase (mST3Gal III) and $Gal{\beta}$1,4(3)GlcNAc ${\alpha}$2,3-sialyltransferase (mST3Gal IV) were isolated from mouse brain cDNA library by means of a PCR-based approach. The cDNA sequences included an open reading frame coding for proteins of 374 and 333 amino acids, respectively, and the primary structure of these enzymes suggested a putative domain structure consisting of four regions, like that in other glycosyltransferases. The deduced amino acid sequences of mST3GaI III and IV showed a 98% and 89% identity with rat ST3GaI III and human ST3Gal IV, respectively. Northern analysis indicated that the expression of mST3Gal III mRNA was abundant in heart, liver and adult brain, while that of mST3GaI IV mRNA was detected in all tissues tested except for testis, but the level was the highest in liver. Soluble forms of mST3GaI III and IV transiently expressed in COS cells exhibited enzyme activity toward acceptor substrates containing the terminal either $Gal{\beta}$1,3GlcNAc or $Gal{\beta}$1,4GlcNAc sequences. The substrate preferences of both enzymes were stronger for tetrasaccharides than for disaccharides.

분자 수준의 그림과 4단계 문제 해결 전략을 제시한 후 해결자 청취자 활동을 통해 문제 해결 과정을 점검하도록 한 교수 방법의 효과를 조사하였다. 고등학교 4학급(191명)을 선정하여 개별적으로 전략을 사용하는 집단(St; Strategy), 해결자 청취자 활동을 하는 집단(SL; Solver' Listener), 전략을 사용하며 해결자 청취자 활동을 하는 집단 (St-SL; Strategy-Solver' Listener), 그리고 통제 집단으로 무선 배치하였다. 전략 수행 능력 검사에서 St-SL 집단의 점수가 통제 집단에 비하여 유의미하게 높았으나, 객관식 문제 해결력 검사에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 전략 수행 능력 검사의 하위 범주들에서는 문제의 조건을 파악하거나 올바른 물리량을 유도해내는 능력은 향상된 데에 비하여, 하위 목표를 설정하거나 해결 과정을 검토하는 능력은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 전략에 대한 선호도는 St 집단보다 St-SL 집단에서 보다 긍정적인 것으로 조사되었다.

This study was performed to assess the level of ozone risk for wheat in the central region of the Korean Peninsula by using two ozone indices, the ozone-concentration based index (AOT40) and the ozone-flux based index ($AF_{st}Y$), and to analyze the relationship between the two indices. In the present study for $AF_{st}Y$ calculation, the Monin-Obukhov length was estimated using the Pasquill stability class which was determined from routine meteorological data such as wind speed, solar radiation and cloudiness. The AOT40 and $AF_{st}6$ indices were calculated for wheat at 3 sites in the central region of the Korean Peninsula during a period of 3 months from April 1 to June 30, 2006. It should be noted that the estimation of ozone index $AF_{st}6$ in this study was performed under several assumptions. The results for both indices, AOT40 and $AF_{st}6$, showed that agricultural crops could be seriously damaged by ozone in the local region of the Korean Peninsula.

Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) ST was isolated from De'ang pickled tea in Yunnan Province, China. The genomes of strain ST were fully sequenced and analyzed using the PacBio RS II sequencing system. Our previous study has shown that L. plantarum ST is a potential probiotic strain. It had strong tolerance in the simulated artificial gastrointestinal tract, and in the antagonism tests, this strain showed strong antibacterial activity. Therefore, as a probiotic, it may be used in animal breeding. L. plantarum ST genome was composed of 1 circular chromosome and 7 plasmids. The length of the whole genome was 3320817 bp, and the annular chromosome size was 3058984 bp, guanine + cytosine (G ± C) content (%) was 44.76%, which contained 2945 protein-coding sequences (CDS). This study will contribute to a further comprehensive understanding of L. Plantarum ST at the genomic level and provide a theoretical basis for its future application in animal breeding.

We report a rare case of pronator teres syndrome in a young female patient. She reported that her right hand grip had weakened and development of tingling sensation in the first-third fingers two months previous. Thenar muscle atrophy was prominent, and hypoesthesia was also examined on median nerve territory. The pronation test and Tinel sign on the proximal forearm were positive. Severe pinch grip power weakness and production of a weak "OK" sign were also noted. Routine electromyography and nerve conduction velocity showed incomplete median neuropathy above the elbow level with severe axonal loss. Surgical treatment was performed because spontaneous recovery was not seen one month later.

Klippel-Feil Syndrome (KFS) is a complex congenital syndrome of osseous and visceral anomalies. It is mainly associated with multi-level cervical spine fusion with hypermobile normal segments. Therefore, a patient with KFS can be at risk of severe neurological symptoms even after a minor trauma. We report a patient with type III KFS who developed a hemiparesis after a minor trauma and was successfully managed with operation.

Arthroscopic repair of an isolated teres minor tendon tear without associated shoulder joint pathology has not been reported in the literature. We report on a case of isolated teres minor tendon tear after trauma. The patient complained of severe shoulder pain and progressive limited range of motion 4 months after the injury. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a full-thickness tear of the teres minor tendon at its musculotendinous junction and arthroscopic repair was performed. At 2 years follow-up, satisfactory clinical and radiological outcomes were observed with return to pre-injury level. Here, the authors report this case and provide a review of literature.

A rare case of cervical subependymoma in a 45-year-old man is described. The tumor appeared as an extramedullary mass lesion, but a discrete, less well-demarcated portion was observed in the anterolateral part of the cord at the C3-C7 level. Previous reports of spinal subepnedymomas are reviewed, and nosological possibilities of extramedullary presentation are discussed.

A subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) associated with negative finding on four-vessel angiography is seen in 5 to 30% of patients with intracranial SAH. A previously silent lesion in the spinal canal may be responsible for the angiographically negative finding for cause of intracranial SAH. We report a case of upper cervical (C1-2) intradural schwannoma presenting with acute intracranial SAH. Repeated cerebral angiographic studies were negative, but cervical magnetic resonance imaging study and tissue pathology revealed a intradural-extramedullary schwannoma in C1-2 level. This case illustrates the importance of a high index of clinical suspicion for spinal disease in angiographically negative intracranial SAH patients.
