IGES와 SRL format 사이의 3차원 정보교고한에 관한 연구 (A study on 3D data exchange between IGES and STL format)

  • This paper deals with effective using the IGES file for flexible data exchange among the other CAD/CAM system. If a data exchange between STL file and the neutral IGES file in Stereolithography system is available, a product design becomes more flexible. THere can be many restrictions and difficulties intranslating these data. First, an STL file follows two rules, such as right-hand rule, and vertex-to-vertex rule, thus requires a structural verification. Second, translation should be performed with minmal errors. It becomes very important to translate IGES file of limited kinds of entities fot the purpose of geometric information into STL file with minor data manipulation. The developed system suggests a good approach of translating the sampled B-spline surface of IGES and shows a potential linkage between IGES and STL format file.

구내통신의 배선구조와 광대역 전기적 특성 (The structrue and wideband electrical characteristics of premises telecommunicatin wiring)

  • Existing premises telecommucation wiring ad been installed for efficient telephone service. But premises wiring is currently ready to be reused as media for wideband digital services and Fiber-to-the-curb architecture. Electrical properties of premises wiring link have not characateized above frequencies for voice service. Accurte measurement of these characteristics are exssential for studies fof wideband ditital transmission system. On the other hand, the transmission qualities of premises wiring have been known to be worst in telecommunications access networks. So the knowledge of premises wiring sturucture as well as electrical properties is needed to improve the performance of premises wiring. In this paper, the structure of premises wiring is described in detail and electrical characteristics (characteristic impedance, SRL, attnuation, NEXT) about premises cables and stelecommucations link of representative apartment complex sare measured and naalyzed ove r16MHz range which is UTP Cat3 bandwidth.

Simplified modelling of continous buried pipelines subject to earthquake fault rupture

  • A novel simple approach is presented for the seismic analysis of continuous buried pipelines subject to fault ruptures. The method is based on the minimization of the total dissipated energy during faulting, taking into account the basic factors that affect the problem, namely: a) the pipe yielding under axial and bending load, through the formation of plastic hinges and axial slip; b) the longitudinal friction across the pipe-soil interface; c) the lateral resistance of soil. The advantages and drawbacks of the proposed method are highlighted through a comparison with previous approaches, as well as with finite element calculations accounting for the 3D kinematics of the pipe-soil-fault systems under large deformations. Parametric analyses are also provided to assess the relative influence of the various parameters affecting the problem.

한국어 단어 및 문장 분류 태스크를 위한 분절 전략의 효과성 연구 (A Comparative study on the Effectiveness of Segmentation Strategies for Korean Word and Sentence Classification tasks)

  • 효과적인 분절을 통한 양질의 입력 자질 구성은 언어모델의 문장 이해력을 향상하기 위한 필수적인 단계이다. 입력 자질의 품질 제고는 세부 태스크의 성능과 직결된다. 본 논문은 단어와 문장 분류 관점에서 한국어의 언어적 특징을 효과적으로 반영하는 분절 전략을 비교 연구한다. 분절 유형은 언어학적 단위에 따라 어절, 형태소, 음절, 자모 네 가지로 분류하며, RoBERTa 모델 구조를 활용하여 사전학습을 진행한다. 각 세부 태스크를 분류 단위에 따라 문장 분류 그룹과 단어 분류 그룹으로 구분 지어 실험함으로써, 그룹 내 경향성 및 그룹 간 차이에 대한 분석을 진행한다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 문장 분류에서는 단위의 언어학적 분절 전략을 적용한 모델이 타 분절 전략 대비 최대 NSMC: +0.62%, KorNLI: +2.38%, KorSTS: +2.41% 높은 성능을, 단어 분류에서는 음절 단위의 분절 전략이 최대 NER: +0.7%, SRL: +0.61% 높은 성능을 보임으로써, 각 분류 그룹에서의 효과성을 보여준다.

Simulation of $H_2O/LiBr$ Triple Effect Absorption Systems with a Modified Reverse Flow

  • In this study, a modified reverse flow type, one of the triple effect absorption cycles, is studied for performance improvement. The cycle simulation is carried out by using EES(Engineering Equation Solver) program for the working fluid of $H_2O/LiBr$ solution. The split-ratios of solution flow rate, UA of each component, pumping mass flow rate of solution are considered as key parameters. The results show that the optimal SRH (split ratio of high side) and SRL (split ratio of low side) values are 0.596 and 0.521, respectively. Under these conditions, the COP is maximized to 2.1. The optimal pumping mass flow rate is selected as 3 kg/s and the corresponding UAEV A is 121 kW/K in the present system. The present simulation results are compared to the other literature results from Kaita's (2002) and Cho's (1998) triple effect absorption systems. The present system has a lower solution temperature and a higher COP than the Kaita's modified reverse flow, and it also gives a higher COP than the Cho's parallel flow by adjusting split ratios.

Students' Self-Regulated Learning Strategies in Traditional and Non-Traditional Classroom: A Comparative Study

  • This study used a posttest control group design and to find out differences between students' self-regulated learning strategies in traditional and non-traditional classroom. To this end, 131 first year university students within the experimental and control groups took part in the study. While ICT-based approach was used as the main medium of instruction in the experimental group, in the control group the paper-based traditional method was used. A survey adapted from Davaanyam [Davaanyam, T. (2013). The structural relationships among Mongolian students' attitudes toward mathematics, motivational beliefs, self-regulated learning strategies, and mathematics achievement. Ph. D. Dissertation. Jeonju, Jeonbuk, Korea: Chonbuk National Unversity.] was used to gather the data. The results of the study indicated a significant difference between the control and experimental groups in regard with their self-regulated learning. That is to say, the experimental group taught through ICT tools acquired higher levels of self-regulation as compared with the control group instructed through the traditional teaching method.

  • This work has the objective to analyze multibody mechanisms of inflatable structures for manned space applications. The focus is on the evaluation of the main characteristics of MaxFlex, a new module of MSC Adams including the effect of nonlinear flexible bodies. MaxFlex integrates the nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Nastran-SOL400-and the Adams multibody capabilities in one unique solver, providing an improvement concerning the concept and technology based on the co-simulation among solvers. MaxFlex converts the equations of motion of the nonlinear FEA into phase-space form and discretizes them according to the multibody system integrator framework. The numerical results deal with an inflatable manned space module having rigid components and a flexible coating made of Kevlar. This paper is a preliminary assessment of the computational capabilities of the software and does not provide realistic guidelines for the actual design of the structure. The analysis leads to some recommendations related to the main issues to consider in a nonlinear simulation including both rigid and flexible components. The results underline the importance of realistic deployment times and applied forces. Also, a proper structural modeling is necessary, but can lead to excessive computational overheads.

  • The object of investigation is represented by PbxSrl-xTiO3(PST) thin films, which were fabricated by the alkoxide-based sol-gel method on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate. We have investigated both structural and dielectric properties of PST thin films aimed to tunable microwave device applications as a function of Pb/Sr ratio. PST thin films showedtypical polycrystalline structure with a dense microstructure without secondary phase formation. Dielectric properties of PST films were found as strongly dependent on Pb/Sr composition ratio. Increasing of Pb content leads to simultaneous increasing of both dielectric constant and dielectric loss characteristics of PST films. The figure of merit (FOM) Parameter (FOM : (%) tunability / tan (%)) reached a maximal value of 27.5 corresponding to Pb/Sr ratio of 40/60. The tunability increased with increasing Pb content. The dielectric constants, dielectric loss and tunability of the PST thin films at Pb/sr ratio of 40/60 measured at 100 kHz were 335, 0.0174 and 47.89 %, respectively.

SOPPY : A sentiment detection tool for personal online retailing

  • The best 'hub' to communicate with the citizen is using social media to marketing the business. However, there has several issued and the most common issue that face in critical is a capital issue. This issue is always highlight because most of automatic sentiment detection tool for Facebook or any other social media price is expensive and they lack of technical skills in order to control the tool. Therefore, in directly they have some obstacle to get faster product's feedback from customers. Thus, the personal online retailing need to struggle to stay in market because they need to compete with successful online company such as G-market. Sentiment analysis also known as opinion mining. Aim of this research is develop the tool that allow user to automatic detect the sentiment comment on social media account. RAD model methodology is chosen since its have several phases could produce more activities and output. Soppy tool will be develop using Microsoft Visual. In order to generate an accurate sentiment detection, the functionality testing will be use to find the effectiveness of this Soppy tool. This proposed automated Soppy Tool would be able to provide a platform to measure the impact of the customer sentiment over the postings on their social media site. The results and findings from the impact measurement could then be use as a recommendation in the developing or reviewing to enhance the capability and the profit to their personal online retailing company.

A Retinoid Antagonist Inhibits the Retinoic Acid Response Element that Located in the Promoter Region of the Cytomegalovirus

  • Retinoids regulate a wide variety of biological processes such as cellular proliferation and differentiation in many cell types. They have also shown to stimulate replication of several viruses including human cytomegalovirus (CMV). Retinoid signalling pathway involves two distinct subfamilies of nuclear receptors, retinoic acid receptors (RARs) and retinoid X receptors (RXRs) that bind to specific retinoic acid response elements (RAREs) in the promoter regions of retinoid-target genes. Here, we characterized RAREs in the regulatory regions of the CMV and of the hepatitis B vi.us (HBV). The viral RAREs, i.e., CMV-RARE and HBV-RARE, are composed of two consensus RARE half-sites (A/GGGTCA) arranged as a direct repeat separated by 5-bp and 1-bp, respectively. The RAREs were activated by both RAR/RXR heterodimers and RXR homodimers in transient transfection experiments. We also found that COUP-TF$\alpha$ (chicken ovalbumin upstream promoter-transcription factor u) and COUP-TF$\beta$ repressed the retinoid response of the viral elements. Further we demonstrated that previously known retinoid antagonist, SRI 1330, repressed retinoid-induced transactivation of the CMV-RARE. These results implicate Vitamin A, it's nuclear receptors and COUP-TFs as important regulators of the CMV and HBV pathogenesis and the SRl1330 as potential negative modulator of such retinoid-dependent processes.
