  • 국내외적으로 차세대 아키텍처인 SOA(Service Oriented Architecture)에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 수년 내에 SOA가 일반적인 아키텍처가 될 것으로 전망되고 있다. 하지만, SOA를 실제로 구축하고 활용하기에는 많은 장벽들이 존재하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SOA기반의 Application을 구축하기 위해 필요한 컴포넌트 규격에 대한 연구와 함께 기존의 분산 객체 컴포넌트를 확장하여 비즈니스 컴포넌트로 구축 가능하게 지원하는 SCA(Service Component Architecture)를 기반으로 SOA를 구축하는 방안을 제시하여, SOA의 장점인 유연성과 상호운용성을 보장하는 Application 구축에 활용이 가능하도록 하고, 이론 및 사상적인 측면에서 벗어나 현실화된 Architecture로써 SOA가 도입 될 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

Relationship between SOA Adoption and Performance of IT Organizations

  • SOA has been adopted by enormous number of organizations world-wide. This study has investigated significant factors which affect SOA adoption in positive and negative manner. Unlike the previous similar studies, where they focused on qualitative analysis for SOA adoption, this study conducted a quantitative analysis to investigate the relationship between the adoption of SOA and the performance of IT organizations. In order to conduct the research, an online questionnaire was created and distributed among SOA experts through the social networking platform of professionals, LinkedIn. Total one hundred and four (104) respondents from thirty (30) different countries participated in this study. The results of this study indicate that there are both positive and negative influences upon SOA adoption. The positive influences includes: governance, strategy, culture and communication, business and IT alignment and ROI; whereas complexity, security concerns, and costs have negatively affected SOA adoption.

  • We have demonstrated all-opticalflip-flop based on optical bistability in a SOA/DFB-SOA with broadband gain. Input signal with the wavelength of 1340.23 nm or 1680.93 nm and the current of about 98% of the lasing threshold is injected into theDFB-SOA. Current injected into SOA is 80 mA All-optical flip-flop has various applications such as all-optical memory, demultiplexing, packet-header buffering, and retiming.

  • The interest of the ITA/EA and SOA is increasing in succession. Many organizations will adopt the SOA, but have the difficulties in planning and executing. The SOA can't be implemented at once in a short period, but should be optimized continuously in a long term. The ITA/EA and SOA have the similar characteristics and the common activities which can be performed at once without duplication. In this paper, considering these characteristics, I'll explain the relation of the ITA/EA and SOA, and present the adoption method of the ITA/EA and SOA to align business with IT and achieve the mission of the organizations.

  • It is very important to evaluate the quality of soft wares based on SOA, which develops rapidly. Particularly, one of the most important properties influencing on the quality of system is complexity. Therefore, we propose the metrics for measuring a structural complexity of softwares based on SOA. The proposed metrics is composed of the size of a service, the depth of a service and interdependency from the viewpoint of system structure, and finally we applied the proposed metric to an example.

  • Service-oriented architecture(SOA) is a paradigm where reusable units are independently executable and only accessible through outer interfaces. Standardized methodology based on SOA has not been decided yet although a lot of efforts have been made for systems using SOA. Therefore Development of system using SOA is facing many difficulties currently. In this paper, service oriented methodology of function based model for supporting legacy system is proposed. Standardized methods for function based reusability through analysing SOA methodology are proposed and guide lines for improvement of service reusability are presented.

  • Traditionally research in Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) security has focused primarily on exploiting standards and solutions separately. There exists no unified methodology for SOA security to manage risks at the enterprise level. It needs to analyze preliminarily security threats and to manage enterprise risks by identifying vulnerabilities of SOA. In this paper, we propose a metric-based vulnerability assessment method using dynamic properties of services in SOA. The method is to assess vulnerability at the architecture level as well as the service level by measuring run-time dependency between services. The run-time dependency between services is an important characteristic to understand which services are affected by a vulnerable service. All services which directly or indirectly depend on the vulnerable service are exposed to the risk. Thus run-time dependency is a good indicator of vulnerability of SOA.

Effect of Soil Organic Amendment and Water-Absorbing Polymer on Growth Characteristics in Poa pratensis L. (Poa pratensis L. 에서 유기질 토양개량재 및 수분 중합체가 잔디생육에 미치는 효과)

  • Research was initiated to investigate germination vigor, number of leaves, plant height and turfgrass density. A total of 18 treatment combinations were used in the study. Treatments were made of soil organic amendment(SOA), sand, and water-absorbing polymer. Germination vigor, leaf number, plant height and turfgrass density were evaluated in Kentucky bluegrass(KB) grown under greenhouse conditions. Significant differences were observed in germination vigor, leaf number, plant height and turfgrass density among 18 mixtures of SOA and polymer. Highest germination rate was associated with mixture of SOA 20% + sand 80% + polymer 0%, resulting in 56.3% for KB. Number of leaves at 60 DAS(days after seeding) were greater with KB over PR, while plant height higher with PR over KB. Leaf number increased with SOA, being SOA 20% > SOA 100% > SOA 10% and with polymer from 0 to 12%. Plant height was greatest with SOA 20% and lowest with SOA 100%. Greater density was observed with PR rather than KB due to longer plant height. Turf density was best under SOA 10% and poorest under SOA 100% in KB. A further research would be required for investigating the individual effect of K-SAM, Ca, perlite on the turf growth characteristics.

  • SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), which has become very popular recently, is a new paradigm for software development and application. In this paper, we propose an integrated architecture which is able to effectively manage and control a variety of services for U-City projects focusing on the importance of service integration. SOA has a number of important features such as loose coupling, standard bases, and distributed computing, all of which are the essential elements for merging and providing various services in U-City projects. We exploit the ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) for reflecting those features, which is a core module linking mutually heterogeneous components so that the communication of services can be implemented. In this paper, we discuss the necessity of SOA in U-City services and a possible scenario and method for the implementation. Finally, we propose an integrated architecture for the U-City Integration and Management Center.

In order to evaluate the use characteristic quality of SOA softwares a quality and about the use frost requirement from the research which it sees and escape with the scale box it examined it measured and in about the method which it decides and an evaluation instance a research the result according to the standard which is appropriate it accomplished it presented. The research which it sees it leads and it induces strategic engineering development it leads and with the fact that it will be the possibility of raising an objectivity and an application degree it expects the use characteristic quality increase of SOA softwares.
