In the 21st century, smart phones have become indispensable items in everyday life. Users get various information from smartphone, and location information such as map is one of them. It is a matter of course that there is a high need for an app that displays information about the user in detail on a smartphone that always carried around wherever it goes. However, in many cases, the current map or navigation is not suitable for selecting only the desired information group. In this project, I want to develop it with Android studio so that make users to get the information of the area easily and quickly in daily life. And it is designed to make it more convenient for users by creating a server with raspberry pie.

In this paper, we design microstrip antenna for GPS / WiFi for broadband mobile communication. The proposed antenna is designed to be used in the FR-4 (er = 4.3), the size is $40mm{\times}50mm$, and it can be used in the GPS frequency band of 1.6GHz and the WiFi frequency band of 5GHz. 2014, and the simulation result shows that the gain is 1.909dB at 1.6GHz and 4.607dB at 5GHz. The S-parameter also showed a result of less than -10dB (WSWR2: 1) in the desired frequency band. Recently, it is expected that GPS navigation system, which is widely used in smart phones and tablet PCs, can be easily and conveniently used by combining and applying GPS with WiFi.

In this paper, the guidance laws and controllers for the gliding guided artillery munition is studied. The gliding guided artillery munition has wings for gliding to increase a range; therefore previous guidance laws and controllers for the guided munition could not be applied. Concepts of vector field guidance and proportional navigation guidance are applied for mid-term and terminal guidance, respectively. The gliding guided artillery munition is operated within wide altitude and speed areas; therefore, the controllers are designed for each area, and gain-scheduling and the linear interpolation technique is applied to compute the appropriate gains.

In this paper, using the received signal strength of radio beacon such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, CDMA and GPS signal from the satellite, we propose the system of positioning which considered indoor and outdoor based on the Place Lab. Conventional Place Lab utilize the various positioning parameters to estimate the indoor location. However, this conventional system has limitations with respect to the range and efficiency of usage. Therefore, we defined the converged model of multisensor data and re-organized the Place Lab to overcome the limitation of a conventional system. Proposed system uses the radio beacon signal and GPS signal together to estimate the location. Furthermore, it provides the seamless PNS service with many mobile devices because this system realized by the OSGi bundle. This proposed system has evaluated the performance with SAMSUNG T*OMNIA SCH-M490 smart phone and the result shows the system is able to support the PNS service.

The method of estimating a position using a GPS has been applied to various fields including a navigation system of an automobile. However, since it is difficult to measure GPS signals indoors, it is difficult to locate specific objects indoors such as a building or factory. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a system for object location estimation based on Bluetooth5 for the management of materials in factories. The object position estimation system consists of a Bluetooth signal generator, a receiver, and a database server. A signal generator based on Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) is attached to the material and a receiver is appropriately arranged inside the factory. In this study, we propose "Diagonal Survey Method", a 4 - axis survey algorithm using four receivers to reduce the error of existing trilateration method. The proposed algorithm showed good performance compared to the conventional trilateration and we verified the effectiveness of the proposed system and algorithm by performing the experiment by installing the system in the factory.

In this paper, a Smart Home Service Robot, McBot II, which performs mess-cleanup function etc. in house, is designed much more optimally than other service robots. It is newly developed in much more practical system than McBot I which we had developed two years ago. One characteristic attribute of mobile platforms equipped with a set of dependent wheels is their omni- directionality and the ability to realize complex translational and rotational trajectories for agile navigation in door. An accurate coordination of steering angle and spinning rate of each wheel is necessary for a consistent motion. This paper develops trajectory controller of 3-wheels omni-directional mobile robot using fuzzy azimuth estimator. A specialized anthropomorphic robot manipulator which can be attached to the housemaid robot McBot II, is developed in this paper. This built-in type manipulator consists of both arms with 4 DOF (Degree of Freedom) each and both hands with 3 DOF each. The robotic arm is optimally designed to satisfy both the minimum mechanical size and the maximum workspace. Minimum mass and length are required for the built-in cooperated-arms system. But that makes the workspace so small. This paper proposes optimal design method to overcome the problem by using neck joint to move the arms horizontally forward/backward and waist joint to move them vertically up/down. The robotic hand, which has two fingers and a thumb, is also optimally designed in task-based concept. Finally, the good performance of the developed McBot II is confirmed through live tests of the mess-cleanup task.
Objective: The purpose of the study is to develop quantitative usability evaluation criteria for senior-friendly autonomous transportation robot. Background: The Republic of Korea has become the most rapidly aging society, and is anticipated to enter the post-aged society in 2026. To raise the quality of life of a senior with limited mobility and to reduce the burden of caregivers, many high-tech assistive products with information technologies are developed nowadays. The senior-friendly autonomous transportation robot is one person robot vehicle to move a senior to the destination for hospitals, nursing homes or silver town complex. With built-in navigation system and environmental monitoring censors, it automatically seeks the path to the destination and avoids collision to obstacles and pedestrians on the way. Due to the early stage of the product, few usability studies in this field have been done, mostly on general service robots to assist seniors, power wheelchairs and delivery robots. ISO and KS standards for the service robots are focused on safety. Method: Based on the reference usability index, the early draft of the usability evaluation questionnaires was developed. After small group tests and interviews, the experts modified the initial draft to the Usability Evaluation Criteria for Senior-Friendly Autonomous Transportation Robot (UEC-SFATR). Result: UEC-SFATR consisted of 4 subscales - Safety, Controllability, Efficiency and Satisfaction. All of the 4 subscales of UEC-SFATR were passed the reliability criteria by 4 groups of seniors, divided by gender and familiarity of smart-devices. Conclusion: UEC-SFATR covers wider area of user experiences of the SFATR and is a good measurement tool to help both the users and developers of the robot. Application: This study provides guide to the future product development and product competitiveness evaluation by quantifying user experiences for the SFATR.

The rapid development of information communication technology(ICT) is born opportunities of business venturing and many items of start-up. On the smart media era, there are a lot of location based services. Thus we researched to find which factors impact location based constructs on smartphone environment in this study. We have conducted a preference analysis of the influencing factors for location based constructs for our study. In first steps, based constructs that were already known by empirical studies were categorized information, entertainment, safe&emergency, navigation&tracking and advertising&commerce. In second steps, the preference relationship among the categorized constructs were analyzed using AHP(analytic hierarchy process) technique. Participants of this study were 106 students H university in Daejeon-city during 2014. 10. 11 to 2014. 10. 25. The result of the analysis might be summarized that the chatting(0.170) has the highest preference among the above constructs. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed.

Ubiquitous services are high quality and differentiated services which are provided for users by recognizing the context of users and environmental conditions actively. In this case, context-aware middleware is one of the most important technologies required to implement the ubiquitous services. In this paper, we propose a method for providing ubiquitous services in a specific user space effectively and monitoring human bio-sensors. That is, the design and implementation of intelligent home service middleware and monitoring bio-sensors based on context awareness is discussed here. Context information from various sensors is gathered, and suitable services are inferred and provided to users by the middleware system. In our approach, user services can be modelled easily by using facts and rules, and the system can be extended easily to support various ubiquitous services other than intelligent home services also. The system can be integrated with external applications and legacy systems effectively by using various protocols such as RMI, socket and HTTP, XML and etc. We have designed and evaluated various facts and rules for intelligent home services in real environments. Functionality evaluation with the system shows that ubiquitous services can be provided to users effectively in a home environment.

The demand for spatial data service technologies is increasing lately with the development of realistic 3D spatial information services and ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Research is being conducted on the real-time provision of spatial data services through a variety of mobile and Web-based contents. Big data or cloud computing can be presented as alternatives to the construction of spatial data for the effective use of large volumes of data. In this paper, the process of building HLM (Hyper Live Map) using multi-source data to acquire stereo CCTV and other various data is presented and a big data service architecture design is proposed for the use of flexible and scalable cloud computing to handle big data created by users through such media as social network services and black boxes. The provision of spatial data services in real time using big data and cloud computing will enable us to implement navigation systems, vehicle augmented reality, real-time 3D spatial information, and single picture based positioning above the single GPS level using low-cost image-based position recognition technology in the future. Furthermore, Big Data and Cloud Computing are also used for data collection and provision in U-City and Smart-City environment as well, and the big data service architecture will provide users with information in real time.
