  • These days, mobile technology is developing very fast. It has increased the usage of the Internet by mobile phones. Nowadays the avatar and game contents services are most popular in mobile phones using the Internet. In this paper, we propose a Client/Server system to combine the animation avatar and e-mail services on SK-VM which are different from simple avatar services. The server which consists of DB (database) module and mail management module is designed in order to manage the information about avatar and the user. The client is designed so as to show the email contents and avatar animation on the mobile phone. This model is intended to reduce the performance overhead on the client as much as possible. We expect that this module would be useful in the mobile phones with limited resources, although the technology is being developed very rapidly.

  • In the case of mobile internet service using WAP, It was connected to http protocol using WAP Gateway. So, Users take increased cost of mobile internet service. and it was generated inner security problem because it watched user information in the WAP Gateway. To solve this problem we use java language. Which is independant of platform and low cost and intensely security and downloadable application. Additional, Using socket connection, Multi Messaging System(MMS) will connect real time between PC-Client and Mobile-Client, Mobile-Client and Mobile-Client, and so on. In this paper, as design and implementation o( multi messaging used SK-VM based on .12ME, It will be foundation to develop various mobile application in the future.

  • The Growth in wireless Internet has made Networking possible at anytime and anywhere. So mobile devices like cellular phone and PDA are now used in various fields. In particular, the mobility of mobile devices has a great advantage in remote control. This paper designed and implemented a Mobile VNC system that transmitted the screen image of a remote computer, control the remote computer GU and monitor all by cellular phone. The proposed system consists of a Mobile Viewer un on the cellular phone, VNC Server m on a number of remote computers and a VNC Monitor. For communication between the VNC Server and the Mobile Viewer the MRFB protocol is used. The screen image transmitted to the Mobile Viewer is encoded in the PNG format supported by SK-VM, the Java execution environment of the Cellular phone. According to implementation results, the image is about $2KB\~8KB$. According to the 65 times transmission test, the average frame per second is 4.93fps in the emulator and a real cellular phone takes 0.8fps. Therefore, the proposed system is more efficient than existing systems.

  • Today, mobile technology is developing very fast and people use internet through mobile phones. Using mobile phones, people use games, email, avatar and other services. We designed client/server modules in order to join email and avatar together. First two major server modules were designed, one of them is DB management module for avatar user information and the other is email management module. One the client side, we designed avatar image animation module and a module for showing the email contents. The purpose of the design is to reduce the performance overhead on the client side as mobile phones cannot be used as a high performance device. We propose and implement a new avatar based service using the SK-VM environment, that is different from the current avatar services.

  • Telematics, which is a compound word of a telecommunication and informatics, provides drivers with useful driving information such as driving path guidance, accident or robbery detection, traffic conditions and other valuable data at real time. This paper proposes and implements how to build a telematics terminal equipped with CDMA and GPS running embedded Linux, to check a vehicle's state through communication between telematics server and vehicle terminals using a cellular phone and to control a vehicle using SMS as shown in Figure 1. In order to do this, we use the SK-VM platform which is mobile terminal platform based on JAVA to design, implement and evaluate it.

  • 기존의 지역정보, 교통정보 서비스 시스템은 직접 PC 를 통해 인터넷에 접속하여 정보를 사용자에게 제공하고 있다. 그러나 무선 인터넷이 보급됨에 따라 PC 가 아닌 휴대용 단말 장치로 서버에 접속할 수 있게 되었다. 실제로 PC 를 사용할 수 없는 지역에서도 필요한 지역정보나 교통정보를 모바일 단말장치를 통하여 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 SK 텔레콤이 XCE(eXtended Computing Environment)와 공동 개발한 무선인터넷 서비스 플랫폼인 SK-VM 이 가지는 장점을 최대한 이용하고, 데이터베이스와 모바일간의 데이터 전송방식을 이용하여 아직까지 상용화되고 있지 많은 무선 인터넷 서비스인 모바일 지역정보, 교통정보 서비스 시스템을 구현, 개발하는데 중점을 두었다.

  • 기존 모바일 이미지 서비스와 차별화하여 고객이 원하는 기호에 맞춘 이미지를 휴대폰 배경으로 전달하는 서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 휴대폰으로 이미지를 전송해주는 모바일 서버의 구현, SK-VM 기반의 휴대폰에서 구동되는 어플리케이션 구현, MVC패턴을 적용한 JSP 기반의 웹서버의 구축을 기술하였고, 휴대폰 이미지를 관리하는 Tomcat 서버와 고객 정보 데이터베이스간의 필터링을 방법을 기술하였다.

Existing computer remote control systems are hard to meet user's appropriate manage when error happened because Clients could not recognize the state of several remote controlled computers which connected to web server. This paper Implementation remote computer control system that immediately after errors happen by send error massages in the from of a SMS to client by set the clients with cellular phone that most generally used Mobile devices.
