A number of research groups and companies have succeeded in employing various SLS schemes to create low defect-density Si films on glass substrates for making high performance TFTs. In this paper, we first point out that SLS can be utilized to just as effectively handle crystallization of thin Si films on polymer substrates, and then present preliminary results on high-performance circuits that are built using the materials.

Korea has relied on top down development method, in which companies, research and education institutions move into the industrial complexes established by the government. However, to improve local competitiveness, the paradigm is shifting from the government initiated industrial complex to the clusters based on the cooperative network of the region. Representative case is 'Samcheok-si Fire & Emergency industry cluster construction project' that begun in 2007. AHP technique analysis results on first-stage showed that priority was on policy and network elements, and the results of second-stage analysis show that priority was on Policy incentives to internationalize the cluster and strengthen link,. Cluster branding, Sharing of organizational culture to cope with changes in environment, Creation of group learning culture. The subject of this research is limited to Samcheok-si's the Fire and Emergency Industry cluster formation project. Therefore, the research area and standard should be expanded to increase generality in further researches.

중견/중소 IT기업의 사업 수행 기회 증대, 기회 균등과 역량 강화라는 취지로 소프트웨어(SW)산업진흥법 개정으로 공공정보화시장에 대기업 참여를 제한되었다. 이러한 환경에서의 중견/중소 SW기업들의 사업을 수행하면서 발생한 사업 수행 역량 미흡으로 공공정보화사업의 품질저하, 위험관리 미숙, 일정관리 저하 등 여러 문제점을 발생시키고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 시스템통합 사업 수행 시 품질 저하 요인을 도출하였으며, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 VISUALIZATION, 엄격한 시험관리, Agile방법론의 일부 활동을 적용하여 프로젝트를 수행하는 것을 제안했다. 이러한 방안을 중견/중소 IT기업이 개발한 보건의료 IT 프로젝트에 적용한 결과 의사소통의 개선, 수치화된 진척관리 및 프로젝트의 가시성이 개선되었다. 또한, 결함 해결시간 최소화, 요구사항 커리리지 비율 개선, 불필요한 회의시간이 단축이 되어 품질 향상에 기여하였습니다.

본 연구는 최근 국내 SI 기업의 활발한 해외시장 진출과 관련하여 일반적인 IT 서비스의 성질을 도출해 고객의 구매결정을 방해하는 요인을 찾아내고 이를 해결하기에 적합한 시장진출유형을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 거래비용 관점에서 SI 기업에게 가장 효율적인 진출유형이 무엇인지를 도출하는 것이다. IT 서비스는 구매계약이 체결된 이후에 생산이 시작되므로 일단 사용해 본 후에야 품질평가가 가능한 경험적 성질을 갖는다. 따라서 해당 SI 기업과의 사업경험이 없는 고객은 구매 전에 IT 서비스의 품질을 평가할 수 없기 때문에 구매에 대한 높은 불확실성을 인식하게 되고 이것은 구매결정을 방해하는 요인으로 작용한다. 이러한 문제는 SI 기업이 새로이 해외시장에 진출할 때 현지에서 명성과 신뢰를 쌓고 있는 기업과의 합작투자를 통해 해결될 수 있다. 왜냐하면 이럴 경우 IT 서비스와 관련해서는 아직 사업경험이 없다고 할지라도 현지 기업의 명성이나 신뢰, 또는 기존의 돈독한 사업관계를 통해 SI 기업이 자신을 속이거나 배반하지 않을 것이라는 기본적인 믿음을 통해 고객의 불확실성을 감소시킬 수 있기 때문이다. 또한 시장거래비용과 관리적 거래비용 측면에서 순수 자회사 설립보다는 현지 시장 및 고객환경에 밝은 현지 기업과의 합작회사 설립을 통해 진출하는 것이 보다 효율적이다. 이와는 달리 최근 국내 대형 SI 기업의 해외진출 현황을 살펴보면 자회사 설립을 통한 진출을 선호하는 것으로 나타났는데 이것은 이들이 속한 그룹사들이 많은 해외시장 경험을 통해 해당 시장환경에 익숙하기 때문에 현지 기업의 도움 없이도 시장개척이나 고객확보가 가능하다고 판단했기 때문이라고 해석된다. 본 연구결과는 특히 해외시장 경험이 아직 부족한 국내 SI 기업들이 해외시장에 진출할 때 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

Recently, knowledge management has been required in companies as a tool of competitiveness. Companies have constructed Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system in order to manage huge knowledge. But, it is not easy to formalize knowledge in organization. We focused on data mining system by genetic programming(GP). Data mining system by genetic programming can be useful tools to derive and extract the necessary information and knowledge from the huge accumulated data. However when we don't have enough amounts of data to perform the learning process of genetic programming, we have to reduce input parameter(s) or increase number of learning or training data. In this study, an enhanced data mining method combining Genetic Programming with Self organizing map, that reduces the number of input parameters, is suggested. Experiment results through a prototype implementation are also discussed.

This paper presents about the activities of speech database standardization in ETRI. Recently, with the support of government, ETRI and SiTEC have been gathering the large speech corpus for the domestic speech related companies. First, due to the lack of sharing the knowledge of speech database specification, the distributed speech database has a different format. Hence it seems to be needed to have the same format as soon as possible. ETRI and SiTEC are trying to find the better representation format of speech database. Second, we introduce a new description method of the annotation information of speech database. As one of the structured description method, XML based description will be applied to represent the metadata of the speech database. It will be continuously revised through the speech technology standard forum during this year.

The companies specializing in fashion stores are making their best efforts and recently they are increasing competition to set up their Coporate Identities for the purpose of positive corporate image and to set up their own Store Identities so that they can cope well with the changes in the consumption patterns. VMD(Visual Merchandising) is such Display Strategy which enable the stores to give their customers good recognitions. This Strategy is aimed at promoting their products not by focusing on the traditional concept of Display , but by giving appreciate planning strategy and by serving their customers with information and convenient Shopping Environment.

국내 및 국외 뒤영벌 생산업체의 서양뒤영벌(Bombus terrestris) 산란율, 봉군형성률, 신여왕출현 봉군율 등 봉세발달 및 인공월동 후 생존율을 비교 조사하였다. 국내 3개와 국외 1개 생산업체의 창설여왕벌 봉군에서 생산된 일벌수는 232.4-270.8마리, 여왕벌수는 62.0-181.8마리로 다소의 차이는 있었으나 국내 및 국외 뒤영벌 생산업체간에 유의성은 없었다. 업체별로 생산된 여왕벌을 탄산가스처리후 사육한 결과, 산란율, 봉군형성률, 신여왕출현봉군율 등 봉세발달은 국내업체에서 생산한 서양뒤영벌이 유럽산보다 우수한 것으로 나타났으나, 일벌 및 여왕벌수는 유럽산 뒤영벌이 다소 많은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 국내 3개 뒤영벌 생산업체와 유럽 2개 업체에서 생산된 서양뒤영벌을 인공월동하여 사육한 경우에도 다소의 차이가 있었지만, 생존율 및 봉세발달에서 뚜렷한 차이가 없었다. 이와 같이 업체별로 생산된 창설여왕벌과 2세대 여왕벌의 휴면처리를 달리하여 사육한 결과, 국내 및 국외 뒤영벌 생산업체의 서양뒤영벌의 봉세 간에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

The goal of this research is to improve SLA index that measures service performance level as a result of outsourcing Information system, and also to identify the best application method. This research identifies SLA applied cases and improving points based on the evidence collected from three major financial institutions that utilized outsourcing. First this study analyzes SLA applied cases of two different companies and discusses SLA application improvement possibilities. It then introduces a successful case of a third company that adopted SLA index.

The theory of constraints (TOC) has become a valuable system in modern operations management. Using the ideas and methods of the TOC, companies can achieve a large reduction of work-in-process and finished-goods inventories, significant improvement in scheduling performance, and substantial earnings increase. The purpose of this paper is to calculate the optimal size of the time buffer which is used to accommodate disruptions in production processes and provide maximum productivity of capacity constrained resources. After the problem formulation in terms of single server queueing model, we observed the system behavior by sensitivity analyses.
