정보통신부는 1/4분기 디지털콘텐츠 대상에 영구아트의 'D-WAR', 아리수미디어의 '아리수 한글', 엔파인의 '아이클릭아트'를 선정했다.영상부문 수상작인 영구아트의 D-WAR는 개그맨 심형래씨가 제작중인 컴퓨터그래픽을 가미한 SF영화로, 지난 99년 제작에 들어가 내년 7월 전 세계에서 개봉될 예정이다. 엔파인의 '아이클릭아트'는 광고, 웹, 출판, 인쇄, 팬시, 교육 등에 사용되는 다양한 포토, 이미지, 클립아트, 캐릭터 등을 제공하는 디지털 이미지 포탈사이트(www.iclickart.co.kr)로 지난해 11월 미국에 수출돼 50만달러의 실적을 올리고 있다

사랑만큼 인간을 변함없이 사로잡은 테마가 있을까? 아담이 혼자 있는 것이 보기 좋지 않아, 이브를 탄생시켜 에덴동산에서 같이 살게 만들었 다는 <성서>, 질투와 짝사랑, 그리고 이뤄질 수 없는 자기애 등 사랑에서 생기는 많은 모티프의 원형으로 가득한 <그리스,로마 신화>, 그리고 바보 온달 왕자를 사랑의 힘으로 훌륭하게 만들었다는 낙랑공주의 이야기 등이 담긴 <삼국유사>. 역사의 고전에는 어디에나 사랑의 이야기가 넘쳐날 정도로 풍부하다. 그러나 이렇게 많은 사랑의 이야기에도 불구하고 우리는 새로운 사랑 이야기를 찾는다. 그리고 언제나 다시 사랑의 이야기에 주목하게 된다. 디지털 시대라고 해서 다를까? 그렇지 않다. SF영화, 미래를 다루는 영화에서도 사랑은 빠지지 않고 등장하는 중요한모티프이다. <매트릭스>만 봐도 그렇다. 궁극적으로 모든 갈등과 위기를 구원하는 것은‘사랑’이지 않은가. 이처럼‘사랑’은 인류 최대의 난제이자 영원한 테마인 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate if Korean wheat flour(KWF) can be used a sourdough ingredient. Gluten contents, pH levels, TTA levels, fermentation rates, mixograph, crumbScan and sensory evaluation were analyzed. The pH levels of sourdough starters ranged from 4.0 to 4.5 throughout all kinds of KWF, and they proved to be available as a sourdough starter. KWF 5 and KWF 6 showed the higher fineness and elongation of crumb grain than any other kind of Korean wheat flour, which were considered appropriate for making bread. KWF 6 scored good mark in the sensory evaluation for texture of crumb and color of crust among all kinds of KWF. In conclusion, although the sourdough bread with sourdough starter SF of bread flour showed the best result in the evaluation, KWF 6 was considered as a good sourdough starter since the result was shown better than CON.

The abnormal content of blood lipids often results in metabolic diseases, such as hyperlipidemia and obesity. Many agents, including natural sources from traditional food, have been developed to regulate the blood lipid contents. In this study, we examined the anti-hyperlipidemic activity of Rhynchosia nulubilis seeds pickled with brown rice vinegar (RNSpBRV), a Korean traditional pickled soybean food. Since RNSpBRV is made of R. nulubilis seeds (RNS) soaked in brown rice vinegar (BRV), we compared the anti-adipogenic activity between RNS, BRV and solid fraction of RNSpBRV (SF-RNSpBRV), liquid fraction of RNSpBRV (LF-RNSpBRV). For this, the inhibitory effect of lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 adipocyte was checked by adding methanol extracts of mixed RNS and BRV, LF-RNSpBRV, and SF-RNSpBRV. The addition of each methanol extract up to 1 mg/ml showed no cytotoxicity on 3T3-L1 adipocyte, and approximately 20% of the lipid droplet formation was suppressed with the methanol extract of BRL or SF-RNSpBRV. The highest suppression (42.1%) was achieved with LF-RNSpBRV. In addition, mice fed a high fat diet (HFD) supplemented with 5% RNSpBRV powder led to increased high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and lower blood glucose, triglyceride, and total cholesterol compared to mice fed with a HFD diet only. Interestingly, the size of the epididymis cells gradually decreased in HFD + 1% RNSpBRV and HFD + 5% RNSpBRV-fed mice if compared those of HFD-fed mice. Taken together, these results provide evidence that RNSpBRV has a regulatory role in lipid metabolism that is related to hyperlipidemia.

We explore the role of bars in AGN-galaxy co-evolution using a volume-limited face-on late-type galaxy sample with $M_r$ < -19.5 and 0.02 < z < 0.055 selected from SDSS DR7. In this study, we investigate how $SFR_{fib}$ as a proxy of gas contents at galactic center (over 1~1.5 kpc bulge scale) and central stellar velocity dispersion, ${\sigma}$, of host galaxies are connected to the bar presence and AGN activity. We find that galaxies are distributed in three distinct regions over the $SFR_{fib}-{\sigma}$ space and the behaviors of their bar fraction ($f_{Bar}$) are clearly different for each region. Galaxies at the AGN dominant region tend to be gas-deficient as $f_{Bar}$ increases and bars are more frequently found in fully-quenched late-type galaxies at the quiescent region, suggesting that bars speed up of the consumption of gas by SF and lead a sudden decline in the central gas. Overall, the bar effects on the AGN activity are positive over the same space except for quiescent galaxies with ${\sigma}$ > $170km\;s^{-1}$. Most significant bar effect on the AGN activity occurs in the less massive galaxies having sufficient gas, whereas the effect on galaxies at the AGN dominant region with higher the AGN fraction is relatively small. We suggest that the bar affect both central SF and AGN activities, but differently for central gas amount and BH (or bulge) mass of galaxies. We also investigate the AGN-bar connection with only pure AGNs and then confirm that they give marginally the same results.

Our human society is rapidly changing into the world of advanced visual information with the development of image industry, the advent of satellite and terrestrial DMB, and the opening of Ubiquitous era. Like this, we are living in the space of overflowing media contents. Jean Baudrillad anticipated that the influential power of image would dominate our reality in 'Simulation'. Noticing the indication of our time, which is organized by various information media including the mass media, Baudrillad predicted that the 21st century would be an era of symbol and image due to the development of television, computer, and internet. This paper attempts to find the physical and conceptual peculiarities of the space change according to the use of display, by analyzing SF films, where future daily life is a major setting, under the judgement that the exploration of space change is significant. Through findings, it tries to lead the visual expansion, which recognizes display as space itself rather than object of space and changes unmoving space into moving space, and suggest the future space design by using digital space. It suggests case studies, which use digital display in the real space, as a study method and it examines the features, influences, and roles of digital display through investigating literatures and cases. In addition, it attempts to find a correlation of digital display and space by selecting films, which can give the affluent resources of analysis on the digital display among SF films. Therefore, it will come to a conclusion that space change should be dealt with in the space design.

Various media are expanding the fantastic expression methods and sphere wider than now. As an intermediate for expressing fully self-desires, fashion of the day has surfacing an important concept called fantastic that does not exist and surpasses reality in expressing the ideal body of a desiring body. Goth and cospre are personal expressions of movie costumes that visualize virtual reality as representative of fantastic fashions. The fantastic is a modem concept putting together SF, fantasy, magical realism, fable, and surrealism. Studies in fashion fields related to fantastic have treated fantastic illiberally and peripherally owing to the centering on the SF genre or fantasy. The thesis that dealt with an important fashion as an external favorite as well as the socio-cultural contents of the expressed body in genre expression remains inadequate. In research methods, this study carried out theoretical reviews on the concept and characteristic of the fantastic through literature data that includes local and international theoretical books, monographs, and dissertations that are related to the fantastic. The experimental analysis was executed by collecting fashion works shown after 2000 and included in special fashion editions, collection magazines, Internet materials, and monographs. The results show that the categorization of expression characteristic (according to fantastic spheres) appeared as 5 kinds such as uncanny borderline, cyborg grotesque, heroic superman, myth allegory, and unconscious meaninglessness.

Modern society is suffering from the phenomena of low-fertile, ultra-aging, and low-growth. On this social flow, most social classes undergo vulnerable situation and their overall housing and living condition have difficulties. So far many housing guidelines for diverse population were developed, recently, inclusive 'Customized Housing Design Guideline for Childcare Families' in terms of maintaining family and society has been completed. The purpose of this study is to analyze User Benefit Characteristics of 'Customized Housing Design Guideline for Childcare Families'. The research subjects are essential 140 guidelines appropriate to children's development and parents' care. The research method is contents analysis and the analysis criterion are 4 concepts of the User Benefit Criteria- 'Behavioral Facilitation (BF)', 'Physiological Maintenance (PhM)', 'Perceptual Maintenance (PM)', 'Social Facilitation (SF)'. 3 people inter-raters reliability was established. Altogether, the guidelines were rated in the order of PhM>PM>BF>SF, and these characteristics are similar as common universal design guidelines. This showed the supportability of spatial characteristics in the guidelines related to user's special behaviors. Also, the results show the importance of outdoor space planning for safe social interactions. The supportable characteristics of 'Customized Housing Design Guideline for Childcare Families' could be expected to efficiently apply for new housing development in the future.

The essential oils of stems, roots, fruits and leaves of Lindera obtusiloba BL. were collected in the winter and summer extracted by simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) apparatus and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). In present study, 58 kinds of volatile components in the winter stems (WS), 70 in the winter roots (WR), 77 in the summer stems (SS), 78 in the summer roots (SR), 70 in the summer fruits (SF) and 76 in the summer leaves (SL) were identified. The results showed that, the major components were monoterpenes including ${\alpha}$-thujene (1.22~13.80%) camphene (1.56~18.40%), ${\beta}$-mycrene (1.75~9.27%), limonene (5.57~12.83%), ${\beta}$-phellandrene (3.03~7.72%), linalyl acetate (2.29~12.55%), dihydromycrene (0~11.15%), germacrene B (0~7.54%) of which the contents had major fluctuations in different seasons and parts. In general, monoterpenes were the major constituent of SF in L. obtusiloba BL. that have presented possibilities for industrial applications.
