Astrochemistry is a tool to understand the physical processes occurring in the interstellar medium in a variety of astrophysical environments. Many ALMA sciences are utilizing our knowledge of astrochemistry, which has grown explosively in recent years thanks to sensitive observations and laboratory work. We will review the ALMA sciences employing astrochemistry and discuss how astrochemistry can serve to answer some unique astrophysical questions.

The organic field-effect transistors with step-edge structure were fabricated. Source and drain electrodes were obliquely deposited by vacuum evaporation. The step-edge of the gate electrode serve as a shadow mask, and the short channel is formed at the step-edge. The excellent device performances were obtained.

We describe the effects of additional feedback in external cavity semiconductor lasers, which are sensitive to feedback phase. It is shown that additional feedback with favorable phase can serve to enhance mode selectivity. The optimum feedback conditions to maximize the system immunity against unwanted additional feedback with unfavorable phase have also been determined.

The classification of hazardous area is a method of analysing and classifying the environment where explosive gas or vapour atmosphere may be expected to be present. The object of area classification is to enable the proper selection and installation of electical apparatus and other equipments. The Kyung-In Canal is to protect Gulpo Stream Area from recursive flooding and to relief inland transportation congestion, in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. Enlarging and extending the Gulpo stream Drainage Canal operated only during rainy season. Kyung-in Canal will serve not only for preventiong flood, but for reducing logistics cost also in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

This paper aims to show an inner, basic harmony between metaphysics and current directions in mathematics and in the philosophy of mathematics. Comparison of the risk of death due to radiation exposure with the same risk due to occupational hazards in other safe industries underlines the importance of the ALARA principle. This study investigated the attitudes of dietitians regarding medicinal cuisine for school meal services. Data was obtained with self-administered questionnaires from 261 dietitians in schools located in Yeoungdong, Gangwon-do. Subjects were distributed into three groups (Elementary=116, Middle=106, High=39) and their awareness, satisfaction, cooking method, and utilization status of medicial cuisine were assessed. Regarding awareness, responders showed highest mean score of 4.57 in perceiving medical cuisines as healthy meal. The preferred cooking method includes medicinal cuisines as noodle, boiled in soy sauce, steaming, roasting, and dessert. Good taste, easy recipe, nutrition, and reasonable price were statistically significant reasons for their preference for medicinal cuisine. However, low preference of students for medicinal cuisine made it difficult to include them into school meals. Methods currently used to serve more medicinal cuisine include the application of different recipes using the same ingredients. The results of this study suggest that having dietitians with a higher preference for medicinal cuisine can serve as a strategy to increase the exposure of school students to medicinal cuisine. The development of recipes applicable to school foodservices by dieticians and the adoption of policies and education programs for medicinal cuisine by the government and associations are recommended.

This paper focused on the development of sports robot that detects a human player and shots a serve ball automatically. When robot technologies apply to the sports machine, the domain problems occurs such as outdoor environments and playing condition to recognize the visual and the vocal modalities. Gaussian mixture model and Kalman filter are used to detect the player's position in the left, right, and depth direction and to avoid the noises caused by the player's posture variation around the net. The sports robot is designed by the pan-tilt structure to shot a serve ball by pneumatic control under the multi layered software architecture. Finally, the proposed tracking and the machine performance are discussed by experimental results.
