The goal of this paper is to select and analyze the sound for robot which can help and serve the big retail market, as the part of research for design foundation development of Human Robot Interface. The sounds which are related with activity, such as thanks, reject, agony,absurdity, gladness, approval, were selected among targeted sounds with 2 step SD method. The result for using Quantitative analysis model-3 with psychological similar degree of selected sound was argued with 'the brightness of sound' and 'violent of sound'.

In this paper, we present a scheme for the improving reliable transport and the efficient multicast support in mobile environment. The proposed scheme solves a problem of TCP layer resulted from mobility by using a Representative FA. RFA has a mechanism like a snoop module which has a cache and can provide retransmission of a multicast packet lost and solve the rock implosion problem. Also, we present an additional IGMP message. By using it, We can remove a delay for IGMP query cycle and serve a multicast service more promptly.

The paper proposes that the Basic Concepts Classification (BCC) could serve as the controlled vocabulary for the Semantic Web. The BCC uses a synthetic approach among classes of things, relators, and properties. These are precisely the sort of concepts required by RDF triples. The BCC also addresses some of the syntactic needs of the Semantic Web. Others could be added to the BCC in a bottom-up process that carefully evaluates the costs, benefits, and best format for each rule considered.

This concerns the summary report of a series of studies on Metastrongylosis hitherto published by the writer. The life cycle of swine lungworm was first elucidated by Hobmaier in 1929. Since then subsequent studies conducted by many workers have revealed that some species of earthworms act as specific intermediate hosts of swine lungworm. The writer observed that three species of earthworms, Helodrilus foetidus, Allolobophora caliginosa and Pheretima, serve as intermediate hosts of swine lungworm in Korea. The present summary consists of the results of survey on the distribution of infectious lungworm larvae and the studies on the developmental growth of lungworm larvae in the intermediate and terminal hosts.

최근 무선 네트워크 장비의 가격이 하락함에 따라 낮은 전송 속도를 가지는 이동 통신 시스템의 대안으로 무선랜 시스템의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 무선랜은 특성상 해킹와 침투에 취약한 약점을 안고 있다. 무선랜 환경에서 유선 네트워크와 무선 네트워크를 매개해주는 액세스 포인트는 내부 네트워크안에서만 접속이 이루어진다. 이러한 취약점을 이용하여 공격자는 위장 액세스 포인트를 설치하여 내부 망으로 침투할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 무선 구간 모니터링을 하여 위장 액세스 포인트를 탐지하고 AAA서버인 라디우스 인증 서버를 사용하여 위장 액세스 포인트를 차단하는 시스템을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 개방형 운영체제인 리눅스상에서 package streaming service를 제공하는 Network Streaming Service(통칭 NSS)를 설계하는 문제를 다룬다. NSS는 client가 serve 측에 설치된 소프트웨어 package를 마치 client 자신의 local disk상에 이미 인스톨된 패키지를 실행하는 것처럼 동작하도록 해준다. NSS는 client측의 NSS Mounter, Package Streaming Consumer, NSS Configurator와 server측의 NSS Load Balancer, Package Streaming Supplier, NSS Manager, Accounting & Security Manager로 구성되며 local disk caching과 background prefetching 기능을 사용하여 향상된 서비스를 제공한다.

The velocity and amplitude of microwaves are affected by the electromagnetic properties of a material through which the wave propagates. And the electromagnetic properties of a dielectric material such as concrete is represented by its permittivity. For the development of an accurate and reliable nondestructive testing (NDT) technique for concrete structures using microwave, it is necessary to have knowledge about the permittivity of concrete. In this paper, mortar specimens are used to serve as a basis for further measurement of concrete. The effect of water on the permittivity was studied using specimens with different water content. To assure the reliability of the measurement results, a statistical method was introduced.

Controlling for the impacts of main strands of debt maturity theories, we highlight the relationship between syndicated loan maturity and ownership structure of Korean borrowers. We find that as the ownership of large shareholders increases, the maturity of syndicated loans also increases. Additionally, we identify a negative relation between foreigners' ownership and loan maturity, indicating that foreign institutional investors serve valuable monitoring functions; as their equity shares increase, they fully take advantage of frequent renewals through the short maturity of syndicated loan. We also show that the predicted value of leverage is more systematically and positively related to the maturity of syndicated loan.

In Korea, there exists a large corpus of handwritten historical documents that serve as a valuable resource. Most of them are hand-written by the King's chroniclers and secretaries. Recently, the historical archives of Lee dynasty have been digitalized. Since it is extremely difficult to utilize conventional OCR system, most of the processes have been performed manually. In this paper, we propose OCR-based digitalization system using Mahalanobis distance-based rejection and interface for eye inspection about historical Hanja documents. Compared with our previous work, experimental results show that the proposed system can help enhancing the overall efficiency of the process.
