다중빔 광디스크용 빔 회전 구동기의 제작과 특성평가 (The Development and Performance Analysis of Beam Rotating Actuator for Multi-Beam Disk Drive)

  • To enhance the effective data transfer rate the multi-beam optical disk drive is presented. The Beam rotating actuator is necessary for putting multi-beam on more than one track. Ray tracing was also executed for real system set-up. The beam Rotating Actuator is made up of piezoelectric material, high stiffness wire hinge and dove prism. The actuator has about 1kHz natural frequency and suitable operational range. The dynamic equation for the actuator is derived for the control real system.

  • Cobalt-immobilized SBA-15 6a-c was synthesized from alkyne-attached SBA 5a-c by the reaction with $Co_2(CO)_8$ in toluene. Alkyne group was introduced into amino SBA-15 (4) by imine-linkage or substitution with propargyl bromide to afford iminoalkyne 5a and aminoalkyne 5b, respectively. Meanwhile, alkyne 5c was prepared in one-step by reacting triethoxysilyl hexyne with SBA-15. Dicobalt-complexes 6a-c were characterized by means of FT-IR, solid-state NMR and elemental analysis.

  • For the reduction and efficient management of railway noise, first of all prediction of railway noise is necessarily requisted. At home and abroad many studies for prediction of raiiway nearby noise have been accomplished. But it is impossible to predict easily and exactly for the Korean Railway, because the acoustic powers for each rolling stock operated in Korea have not been built yet. So in this study, prediction model equation for environmental noise for Korean rolling stock Mugungwha was suggested using SEL of engine and rolling noise component separately. In this prediction model, the number of car, distance from the rail can be considered. Finally for the validation of prediction nlodel equation, the predicted Leq was compared to the measured Leq.

수변 공사에 의한 충격음의 특성과 어류에 미치는 영향 (Characteristics of Impulsive Noise of Waterfront Construction Site and Its Effects on Fishes)

  • Underwater impulsive sound such as underwater blasting noise, piling noise and stone breaking hammer affects marine animal hearing response and organs. This study describes the characteristics of various impulsive noise from waterfront construction site and their effect on fish. Time constant, peak pressure, energy and SEL(sound exposure level) of four different underwater impulsive sounds are quantified. Auditory and non-auditory tissue damage ranges are derived by comparing their quantities to the exposure criteria for fish. Damage ranges of auditory tissue and non-auditory tissue of underwater boring blast of 150 kg of charge, are about 100 m and 300 m, respectively. Other three impulsive sounds also gives damage effects but less than that of underwater boring blast.

  • A multi-beam optical disk drive is presented as a method for improving the effective data transfer rate by increasing the beam spot number formed on an optical disk. The beam rotating actuator is necessary for putting multi-beam on more than one track. The beam rotating actuator is made up of piezoelectric material, high stiffness wire hinge and dove prism. The actuator has good frequency response above 1KHz and suitable operational range. The dynamic equation for the actuator is derived.

  • An infection is less likely to elicit chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) than Guillain-$Barr{\acute{e}}$ syndrome. We here report a case of acute-onset CIDP following hepatitis A virus infection and briefly comment on the potential mechanisms regarding the induction and chronicity of autoimmunity after a viral infection.

부모의 양육행동 및 인성과 아동의 정서지능과의 관계 (The Relationships between Parental Childrearing Behavior and Personality, and Children’s Emotional Intelligence)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between parental childreating behaviors and parental personality, and children’s emotional intelligence. The subjects included 223 children from kindergarten to 6th grade and their parents. The results were as follows: Firstly, children’s Emotional Intelligence(EI) showed sex difference and age difference between two grade-groups(kindergarten~3rd grade, 4th~6th grade). the age-differences being more distinct in other-related EI than in the self-related : Secondly, parental personality explained parental childrearing behaviors better in higher-grade groups than in lower-grade groups, maternal personality predicting maternal childreating behaviors better than paternal personality predicting the paternal childreaing behaviors; Thirdly, childrearing behaviors explained childern’s self-relate EI better than the other-related : Finally, parental personality revealed greater predictive power of children’s EI in higher-grade groups than in lower-grade groups, better explaining sel-related EI than the other-related. Several suggestions were made concerning future EI studies.

Strategic and Technological Challenges for Wireless Communications beyond 3G

  • In order to facilitate and to meet the ever increasing demands for the wireless communication in the next decade and also to satisfy the high data rates for the new services, the future development of 3G (IMT2000) and systems beyond 3G (B3G) are foreseen. This article presents the need for these developments and motivations for systems beyond 3G taking into account both strategic and technological challenges to be faced. Moreover, the concepts and potential technologies involved including multiple airinterfaces, efficient spectrum allocation and utilisation for the success of systems B3G are briefly reviewed.

  • In this paper, we investigate the methodology to calculate the volume of the pyramid and frustum of the pyramid that is found in Gu Jang Sel Hae and San Hak Jeong Ui(The first volume)text. Comparing and analyzing content in Korean and Chinese mathematics education textbooks that uses as a foundation the aforementioned methodology, it is proposed that in future development of mathematics education curriculum the area of solid geometry be taught in greater depth in basic study guides.
