A new species of the genus Tethya (Demospongiae: Hadromerida: Tethyidae), Tethya songakensis, is collected from Jeju Island, Korea, by scuba diving. This new species is characterized by oxyasters, slender tylasters and spherasters with frequently branched ray. Tethya songakensis n. sp. is similar to T. simi Sara and Bavestrello, 2000 in megascleres and megasters, but it can be clearly distinguished with the latter by the shape of microasters.

IEEE 802.11 WLANs provide multiple transmission rates to improve the system throughput by adapting the transmission rate to the current wireless channel conditions. Many rate adaptation schemes have been proposed because IEEE 802.11 standard does not contain any specifications for the rate adaptation scheme. In this paper, in order to overcome limitations of the previous research, we propose a new rate adaptation scheme called SARA(Sender-oriented Automatic Rate Adaptation). The SARA scheme, a proposed rate adaptation scheme, appropriately adjusts the data transmission rate based on the estimated wireless channel conditions, specifically the measured RSSI at the sender-side. Moreover it continuously updates the thresholds for selecting the transmission rate and selectively enforces the RTS/CTS exchanges to adapt the changes in the wireless channel conditions. Through the performance evaluations, we prove that the SARA scheme overcomes the limitations of the previous research and improves the wireless link utilization.

A fairy tale of information by word of mouth gets to this day with admitting the change of period. A fairy tale reflects the morality of the education of children. The late 17th century, the information by an author of classical literature collects and the literature genre of children begins to fix. In 1697, Perrault publicates and is a volume of eight volumes' tale. Perrault describes that female children guard against male by annexing a figurative allusion. Sara Moon of a photography artist in 20th century expresses this theme by symbolic expression of illustration. Her illustration brings about many questions and becomes conscious of the veiled significance of sentences by author's consideration. She deletes the Perrault's preccept in substitution of bed photography and she substitutes a wolf with a car or a dog and a shadow, etc .. The illustration of Sara Moon gets ready a foundation of early sex education as reflecting a period. Now, an illustrator gets to rebirth a fairy tail as a new dramatizer of today.

Objective: The aim of this study was to report the effect of Korean medicine treatment on Claude's syndrome with ataxia and diplopia. Methods: We applied electroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture, and physical therapy to the patient. Diplopia was assessed with the distance between two images of one object, and ataxia was assessed with the Korean Version of the Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (K-SARA). Results: After 21 days of treatment, diplopia, abnormal extraocular movement, and ataxia were improved on the basis of the K-SARA score. Conclusion: This case demonstrates the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment in improving the symptoms of Claude's syndrome.

This study reported on the effect of traditional Korean medicine on ataxia, gait disturbance, tremor, and dizziness with cerebellar atrophy. The patient was treated with traditional Korean medicines, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine (Kuibiondam-tang-gami). The effectiveness of the treatment was evaluated with the scale for the assessment and rating of ataxia (SARA). After treatment, the symptoms had improved. The SARA score decreased by 18 points after Korean medicine treatment. According to this study, traditional Korean medicine can be effective to treat ataxia, gait disturbance, tremor, and dizziness in patients with cerebellar atrophy.

Women attach great importance to the presence of a three-dimensional nipple upon completion of the breast reconstruction process. To meet patients' expectations, nipple-areolar complex reconstruction should achieve symmetry in position, size, shape, texture, and color, as well as minimizing donor-site morbidity. However, it is well known that regardless of the reconstructive technique, loss of nipple projection can be reasonably expected. We developed and evaluated a quick, simple, and innovative technique using injectable Integra Flowable Wound Matrix to increase nipple projection after reconstruction. Twenty breast cancer patients who underwent nipple reconstruction resulting in unsatisfactory projection were enrolled in our retrospective study. Nipple projection was measured at the time of surgery and after 6 and 12 months. A visual analogue scale was used to assess patients' satisfaction. Our technique yielded reliable results in terms of the long-lasting maintenance of nipple projection. This method is high-priced, but cost-effective, since one kit may suffice for three patients. Furthermore, our patients were very appreciative of this technique as a single-step, minimally invasive, painless procedure with no reported necessity of re-intervention.
