Web services are the new building block of today's Internet, and provides interoperability among heterogeneous distributed systems. Recently in web services environment, security has become one of the most critical issues. The hackers attack one of fragile point and can misuse legitimate user privilege because all of the connected devices provide services for the user control and monitoring in real time. Also, the users of web services must temporarily delegate some or all of their rights to agents in order to perform actions on their behalf. This fact risks the exposure of user privacy information. In this paper, we propose secure delegation model based on SAML that provides confidentiality and integrity about the user information in distributed systems. In order to support privacy protection, service confidentiality, and assertion integrity, encryption and a digital signature mechanism is deployed. We build web service management server based on XACML, in order to manage services and policies of web service providers.

국제표준화기구인 ITU-T의 SGl7 WP2는 정보통신 보안에 관한 표준화를 다루는 연구그룹이며, 7개의 연구과제(Question)를 두고 통신망을 위한 정보보호 표준화 작업을 진행하고 있다. 이 연구과제들 중 연구과제 9에서는 안전한 통신 서비스라는 이름으로 홈네트워크 보안 표준, 모바일 보안 표준, 웹 서비스 보안 기술, 그리고 안전한 응용 프로토콜 등에 대한 표준을 개발 중에 있다. 현재 연구과제 9가 제정한 표준은 2004년 3월 한국과 일본이 공동으로 제안한 X.1121, X.1122 표준이 존재하며, 2005년도 10월 제네바회의를 통하여 홈네트워크 보안 분야의 3개의 표준과제, 모바일 보안 관련 3개의 표준과제, 안전한 응용 프로토콜 관련 4개의 표준과제, 그리고 웹서비스 보안 관련 2개의 표준과제들이 개발되고 있다. 2005년 3월 모스코바 회의와 2005년 7월 중국 센젠회의에서 OASIS(Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards.)는 각각 SAML(Security Assertion Markup Language) 표준과 XACML(Extensible Access Control Markup Language) 표준을 ITU-T 표준으로 이전할 것을 제안하였고, 이번 회의를 통해 이를 위하여 해결해야 할 여러 문제들이 논의되고 해결방안이 도출되었으며, 이를 위한 향후 추진 일정을 확정하였다. SAML과 XACML 표준은 홈네트워크 및 모바일 보안, 그리고 안전한 프로토콜 표준시에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 논문에서는 연구과제 9에서 수행되고 있는 지난 2005년도 제네바 회의에서 합의된 주요 표준화 동향을 살펴보고, 현재 논의되고 있는 주요 쟁점사항을 살펴보며, 쟁점사항과 토론 결과, 그리고 향후 추진방향을 제시한다.

This paper describes construction of web services system for secure message transmission appling web services standards. This system composes single sign on module, SSL module and secure message module. We applied these modules to price comparison site. Single sign on module used SAML standards. This module was designed, in order to provide authentication and authorization. As SSL module processes message encryption among end to end, messages of this system are secure. Secure message module is designed according to WS-Security standards and processes authentication, XML signature and XML encryption.

By employing the subscriber concept in broadcasting services, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) operators provide various grades of services to subscribers based on the billing level of the subscribers. With the income from subscribers for a basis, IPTV operators plan to provide high quality services. Since Web browser-based IPTV provides T-commerce and E-commerce services as well as television services, users may frequently visit other service domains to buy goods or content. To provide the user with charged or private services, these service domains request authentication of user. The existing authentication system is not appropriate for the IPTV service environment because the environment unavoidably forces the user to cross from one authentication-based service domain to another. Single sign-on provides a user with transparent authentication services by enabling an authenticated user to move between authentication-based service domains without any re-authentication. Like this distributed environment, since the IPTV service environment also provides a variety of authentication-based services, transparent authentication service needs to be provided to subscribers who want to access charged or private services. In this paper, we propose a new user authentication scheme for the IPTV environment. This scheme integrates the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), which is a standard for XML-based single sign on. We validate this scheme using a simple use case scenario.

인터넷의 확산과 웹 2.0 환경의 도래에 따라, 사용자가 관리해야 하는 디지털 형태의ID 정보가 기하 급수적으로 증가하고 있다. 이것은 사용자의 ID 관리 부담, 동일한 패스워드의 반복적인 사용으로 인한 보안성 저하, ID 정보의 유출에 의한 사용자 프라이버시 침해 문제 등을 발생시키고 있다. 따라서 사용자를 인증하고, 사용자의 ID 정보를 관리해주는 ID 관리 시스템이 매우 중요해지고 있다. 본 고에서는 인터넷 규모의 온라인 서비스를 대상으로 사용자를 인증하고 사용자의 ID 정보를 관리하는 대표적인 ID관리 시스템인 SAML, CardSpace, Open ID를 살펴 보고, 이들 시스템의 특징을 비교 분석한다.

기업간 파트너쉽이 e-비즈니스 네트워크로 발전하면서 사용자에 대한 안전하고 효과적인 인증은 물론 인증된 사용자의 특정 서비스에 대한 접근권한의 관리요구가 크게 대두되고 있다. PKI 기반 기술로 사용자 인증, 데이터 기밀성 및 무결성 서비스는 가능하지만 사용자 및 자원에 대한 권한 관리는 별도의 기반기술이 요구된다. 웹 사이트들을 파트너 쉽으로 연결해주는 크로스 도메인간의 단일인증, 보호 대상 자원에 대한 접근제어, 파트너간의 상호연동성 및 이기종 연동 등의 요구사항을 만족시키기 위한 권한관리 기반기술이 필요하다. 본고에서는 PMI 표준, 접근제어, RBAC, SAML 및 XACML 기술에 대한 소개와 권한관리 시스템 구축 모델에 대하여 설명한다.

웹서비스의 등장으로 XML이 기반기술로서 자리 매김하고 있는 현재, XML을 이용하여 여러 표준기술을 제정하려는 움직임이 많아지고 있다. XACML은 접근제어 리스트(access control list)를 통해 보안이 요구되는 자원에 대해 미세한 접근 제어 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 XML 기반의 언어이다. XACML은 SAML PDP(Policy Decision Point)의 일부로서 역할을 수행 할 수 있으며 각 정의에 따라 각각의 사용자 별 XML 문서 접근 정책을 수립하고 적용 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML기반의 Access Control 표준인 XACML에 대하여 분석하고 적용방법에 대하여 연구하였다.

Current identity management 1.0 model, which is service provider-centric and isolated, has several problems such as low usability, high cost structure, difficulty in privacy protection, and lack of trust infrastructure. Though various SSO-based identity management 2.0 models including Passport/Live ID, Liberty Alliance/SAML, CardSpace, and OpenID have been recently developed in order to overcome those problems, they are not widely accepted in real Internet environment so as to replace the existing identity management 1.0 model. This paper firstly analyzes the widely-known identity 2.0 models in a comparative way, and then presents a perspective on the development direction of identity management 3.0 model for future Internet.

사물인터넷 서비스는 다양한 기능과 성능을 갖는 디바이스와 게이트웨이, 플랫폼, 서비스가 서로 상호 연동/통신함으로써 실현된다. 해당 서비스의 안전성 및 신뢰성을 보장하기 위해선 서비스 각 구성 요소에 적절한 보안 기술이 필요하다. 서비스 및 API 수준에서는 OpenID-connect, OAuth2, SAML, XACML과 같은 인증/인가, 접근 제어 기법이 필요하며, 플랫폼 및 프로토콜 수준에서는 MQTT, CoAP, HTTPS, RSPF 프로토콜 및 보안 절차가 필요하다. 한편, 이들 보안 기술은 공통적으로 TLS/DTLS 보안 프로토콜을 사용한다는 특성을 가진다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 사물인터넷의 디바이스, 게이트웨이, 플랫폼에서 손쉽게 사용될 수 있도록 TLS/DTLS 보안 칩 개발 사례를 소개하고 이를 TLS 오픈 소프트웨어 스택인 mbedTLS와의 연동 사례를 소개함으로써 사물인터넷 구성 요소에 공통적으로 활용 가능한 보안 기술 구현 사례를 살펴본다.
