A Study on the Effects of Perception of Airline's Service Management Strategies to Realize Customer's Expected Value (항공사 서비스 경영전략에 대한 인식이 고객가치 실현에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The more advanced IT and mobile technologies get, the smarter customers become in the use of airline services. Using an airline, passengers are expecting more value than what airline're willing to provide them. Therefore this paper tries to find out the effect of airline staff's perception of airline's service management strategies to realize passengers' value based on previous oversea's research results. First of all, this paper provides t-test analysis results between passengers and airline staff regarding the perception of airline's service management strategy and customer orientation. Moreover, it was analyzed how the staff's understanding of the upper management's decision on service strategies would results in meeting customer's expecting values through such mediating variables as job satisfaction and customer orientation. It was proven the perception of service management strategies by staff played a very important role to realize customer's value.

  • 최근 IT산업의 화두인 클라우드 컴퓨팅에서, HDFS는 널리 사용되고 있는 분산 파일 시스템이다. HDFS는 분산된 데이터의 저장과 검색의 장점이 있는 반면, 대용량 파일처리를 목적으로 설계되었기 때문에 실시간 파일처리와 저용량 데이터 처리에 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 HDFS의 파일 처리 과정을 개선하여 저용량 파일 처리를 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 본 기법은 데이터 블록에 저용량 파일들을 병합함으로써 데이터 처리의 효율성을 높이는 결과를 보였다.

What are the Individual's Real Cares to Switch Personal Cloud Services?

  • As the fast development of information technology (IT), abundant attractive alternatives have showed up and challenged to the traditional information technology (IT). Cloud services, the hottest representative among these alternatives, has attracted the attention from all walks of life. Considering the diversity of cloud services, this study attempts to find out the important factors affected on individual's switching intention from incumbent IT to cloud services mainly based on two-factor theory (switching enablers and switching inhibitors) and explore the direct influences of these factors on individual's switching intention. According to our findings, individual's switching intention to cloud services is not only positively influenced by switching enablers but also negatively influenced by switching inhibitors. All the switching enablers in this study (perceived omnipresence, perceived collaboration support and perceived compatibility of cloud services) have positively significant influences on individual's switching intention as well as the switching inhibitors (usage habit of incumbent IT and perceived risk of cloud services) have negatively significant influences on individual's switching intention. It's noteworthy that satisfaction of incumbent IT has insignificant influence on individual's switching intention in this study. Moreover, as we expected, both social influence and personal innovativeness have significant influences on the generation of individual's switching intention.

Elevational Distribution of Breeding Bird Communities in Seoraksan National Park, Korea

  • In this study, the elevational distribution of breeding birds in Seoraksan National Park, Korea was investigated. Forty-six species of birds were documented from line transect surveys taken from Seorakdong at 230 m above sea level (a.s.l.) to the Daechungbong summit at 1708 m asl. Birdspecies richness and diversity were highest in Seorakdong and lowest at the Daechungbong summit. As elevation increased, bird species richness and diversity decreased, with a humped-shape trend being observed between 700 m and 1200 m a.s.l. Stepwise analyses revealed that breeding bird species diversity indices were significantly negatively correlated with elevation (r2 = 0.327, P < 0.001) and positively correlated with vegetational coverage (r2 = 0.324, P = 0.046). Higher elevations supported fewer birds than low and intermediate elevations. Projections at the local scale, including data on behavior and habitat use by birds, will be necessary for optimal conservation and management of the bird communities in Seoraksan National Park.
