회선분배장치 과부하 데몬을 위한 부하분산 방법의 구현과 분석 (An Implementation and Analysis of load Balancing Mechanism for Over loaded Daemon In WDCS)

  • 회선분배장치를 제어관리하는 W/S의 Daemon 중에서 Event 처리를 담당하는 EvtProc Daemon의 경우를 들어 효율적인 부하 분산 알고리즘을 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 대량의 Event 발생 시 담당 프로세스가 연속적으로 fork, exec 하지 않고 일정시간 대기하므로써 fork 와 exec 의 오버헤드를 줄이고 같은 Op Code의 연이은 Event 발생에 대기중인 프로세스가 이를 처리함으로써 더욱더 오버헤드를 줄일 수 있다. 그리고 Event를 처리하는 Child 생성에 있어 주 Child 가 부하분산을 담당하게 함으로써 효율적이고 안정적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였고 이를 구현 분석하였다.

개심술시의 심근손상에 관한 고찰 (Evaluation of Myocardial Damage during Open Heart Surgery (enzymatic and electrocardiographic evaluation))

  • Fifty one consecutive patients undergoing open heart surgery, twenty eight congenital and twenty three acquired heart disease, were studied between May and August 1979 in Dept. of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery SNUH. During the same time 10 patients of PDA were included in this study as control group. Four out of fifty one OHS patients, two ASD and two pulmonic stenosis patients, were operated without aortic cross-clamp. In all patients, serial determination of total level of creatine phosphokinase [CPK], lactic dehydrogenase [LDH], glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase [SGOT] were made preoperatively, operative day [immediate post-op], and post-operative days up to 7th day. Electrocardiograms were also evaluated serially. Open heart surgery patients were divided into two groups; Group A was aorta clamp time beyond SO minutes, and Group B was below 50 minutes. The peak level of each enzyme was compared, and electrocardiographic changes were also compared between groups. Although the electrocardiographic changes were more frequent in Group A [50%] than Group B [24%], the peak levels of each enzymes were almost same in Group A and Group B.

OTA를 이용한 필터 설계에 대한 연구 (A study on the Filter design using OTA)

  • 본 논문에서는 OTA의 원리와 기본응용에 대하여 연구하였다. 또한 OTA를 응용하여 3개의 입력과 1개의 출력을 갖는 2차 필터를 설계하여 3입력중의 각각 1입력만을 사용한다면 각각 저역통과, 중역통과, 고역통과 필터의 특성을 얻을 수 있었다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과 이론값과 잘 일치하였으며, 이 필터는 저왜곡, 고주파 특성을 갖는 통신 시스템의 응용에 사용될수 있다.

두침(頭鍼)을 시술한 경막하혈종(硬膜下血腫) 환자(患者) 1례에 관한 보고 (One Case Treated Subdural Hematoma by Scalp Acupuncture therapy)

  • Objective : To report one case where Subdural Hematoma(SDH) in operation indication was treated by Scalp Acupuncture therapy. Methods : The changes in clinical symptoms of headache, dizziness, nausea, vommitting were described when this patient was treated with scalp acupuncture therapy and with herb medication. Results : Symptoms (headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting. etc) at admission decayed gradually with Scalp Acupuncture therapy. The patients could walk alone at discharge. Conclusion : Though she had been in op. indication, the patient's health improved by herbmedications of Dodamcheseup($d{\breve{a}}ot{\acute{a}}nchu{\acute{u}}shi$)-Tang etc. and by Scalp Acupuncture therapy.

테크놀로지 이미지적 헤어스타일에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hair Styles Featuring Technological Images)

  • Hair styles which independently coexist by transcending the time and space under the environment of highly developed information and communication technology of recent years, were analyzed. Moreover the concerned trends of art which influenced on these styles were introduced in this study. Through IT based information exchange produced new hair styles which have the technological images. The characteristics of these hair styles are investigated also. For the examination of yearly trends, hair styles in fashion collections of Yves Saint Larent during 1962 to 1999 were examined and classified. The results show that time variated trends are appeared in this period. For the analysis of the trends of hair styles featuring technological images, hair styles in fashion collection of Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chanel in the early 2000s are quoted.

콘덴서 제어회로를 이용한 배전용 변압기의 역률 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study for Improving the Power Factor of Distribution Transformer using Condenser Control Circuit)

  • Daily use characteristics of apparent power supplied to distribution transformer can be separated into two different time zone of waking hours and sleeping hours. In sleeping hours, using amount of power is decreasing. The actual curve of power seemed to be quite similar to this kind of separation. Inserting a condenser into a circuit in each different time zone led to maximize power factor of the transformer. The compensating condenser's on/off time is controlled by hysteresis circuit utilizing op amp and power factor of the transformer was improved from 0.945 to 0.999. As a result, the average of current reduction was 2.53A per hour of transformer.

  • CMOS operational amplifier is most useful building bloch in analog circuit. This paper represents the analysis and design method of CMOS OP AMP to use general purpose such as the A/D and D/A converter, PCM encoder and decoder etc. The required specifications is obtained by changing W/L ration of CMOS devices. The design procedure must be iterative in as much as it is almost impossible to relate all specifications simultaneously. This is performanced with IBM-PC XT by using SPICE(SIMULATION PROGRAM WITH INTEGRATED CIRCUIT EMPHASIS)program.

  • This paper presents the selection of optimal placement for STATCOM (Static synchronous Compensator) which is one of the FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System) devices, considering line contingency. Line contingency ranking is gotten by using sensitivity of load margin. According to line contingency ranking line contingency was considered. And IOP (Index for selecting optimal Placement of STATCOM) is calculated by the variation of each bus's reactive mum for several line contingencies. The bus where has the biggest value of lOP is the most optimal placement to install STATCOM for voltage stability. IPLAN is used to program this part which get IOP. This study is carried out on the modified IEEE14 Bus Test System to confirm the efficiency of the method.

Biogeographical Distribution and Diversity of Bacterial Communities in Surface Sediments of the South China Sea

  • This paper aims at an investigation of the features of bacterial communities in surface sediments of the South China Sea (SCS). In particular, biogeographical distribution patterns and the phylogenetic diversity of bacteria found in sediments collected from a coral reef platform, a continental slope, and a deep-sea basin were determined. Bacterial diversity was measured by an observation of 16S rRNA genes, and 18 phylogenetic groups were identified in the bacterial clone library. Planctomycetes, Deltaproteobacteria, candidate division OP11, and Alphaproteobacteria made up the majority of the bacteria in the samples, with their mean bacterial clones being 16%, 15%, 12%, and 9%, respectively. By comparison, the bacterial communities found in the SCS surface sediments were significantly different from other previously observed deep-sea bacterial communities. This research also emphasizes the fact that geographical factors have an impact on the biogeographical distribution patterns of bacterial communities. For instance, canonical correspondence analyses illustrated that the percentage of sand weight and water depth are important factors affecting the bacterial community composition. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of adequately determining the relationship between geographical factors and the distribution of bacteria in the world's seas and oceans.

SFDR 70dBc의 성능을 제공하는 10비트 100MS/s 파이프라인 ADC 설계 (A 10-bit 100Msample/s Pipeline ADC with 70dBc SFDR)

  • 최근 Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN), Wide-band Code Division Multiple Access(WCDMA), CDMA2000, Bluetooth 등 다양한 모바일 통신 시스템에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 모바일 통신 시스템에는 70dB이상의 SFDR(Spurious Free Dynamic Range)을 가진 ADC(Analog-to-Digital Converter)가 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 통신 시스템을 위한 SFDR 70dBc의 성능을 제공하는 10비트, 100Msps 파이프라인 ADC를 제안한다. 제안한 ADC는 요구되는 해상도 및 속도 사양을 만족시키기 위해 3단 파이프라인 구조를 채택하였으며, 입력단 SHA(Sample and Hold)회로에는 Nyquist 입력에서도 10비트 이상의 정확도로 신호를 샘플링하기 위해 부트스트래핑 기법 기반의 샘플링 스위치를 적용하였다. residue amplifier 회로에는 전력을 줄이기 위해 8배 residue amplifier 대신 3개의 2배 ressidue amplifier를 사용하였다. ADC의 높은 사양을 만족시키기 위해서는 높은 이득을 가지는 op-amp가 필수적이다. 제안한 ADC 는 0.18um CMOS 공정으로 설계되었으며, 100Msps의 동작 속도에서 70dBc 수준의 SFDR과 60dB 수준의 SNDR(Signal to Noise and Distortion Ratio)을 보여준다.
