In order to investigate the effect of Daewhajungeum on the isolated organs, gastrointestinal tract and C.N.S., some kinds of experiments using mice and rats were done. The results were as follows; 1. Daewhajungeum showed the inhibitory effect on the smooth muscle contraction of the isolated ileum and colon induced by acethylchorine chloride and barium chloride in mice. 2. Daewhajungeum showed inhibitory effect on the contraction of the fundus-strip induced by acethylchorine chloride and barium chloride in rats. 3. The preventive effect on pyloric ulcer, indomethacin induced ulcer and ethanol-HCl induced ulcer of mice was recognized. 4. The effect on the acidity of gastric juice was suppressed, but the effect on the pepsin output was not recognized. 5. The transport ability of small and large intestine was significantly decressed. 6. The analgesic effect and the sedative effect were recognized so that the effect of the C.N.S was suggested.

The photochemical reaction mechanism has been investigated for methanol insertion into the p-substituted phenylketo carbenes. The triplet spin state of phenyl koto carbene is stabilized by the neighbored carbonyl electrons. When the phenylketo carbene reacts with methanol, the ylied intermediate is formed, then moves to the activated transition state.

Purpose: This study evaluated the postoperative stability of counter clockwise rotation of the mandibular plane in anterior openbite patients, who have had one jaw surgery performed. Methods: This study includes patients with skeletal class III malocclusion accompanied by anterior openbite among the patients who have had BSSRO performed, resulting in counter clockwise rotation of the mandibule. We excluded the patients with genioplasty and segmental surgery, and included 23 patients who underwent BSSRO. Results: We found no statistical significance between the amount of counter clockwise rotation in the mandible in the Pearson correlation test. Also, there was no significant difference between Group 1 (< $3^{\circ}$) and Group 2 (> $3^{\circ}$). Conclusion: This study evaluated the amount of horizontal relapse, and the degree of relapse. Stable results were obtained. Although there was no statistical significance between the degree of openbite and the amount of horizontal relapse, the group with a greater amount of openbite had a greater amount of relapse.

In order to evaluate the antimicrobial effect of 2, 3-substituted-1, 4-naphthoquinone derivatives, we newly synthesized several 2-chloro, 2-bromo and 2-hydroxy-1, 4-naphthoquinones and subjected to antibacterial and antifungal activities, in vitro, against Escherichia coli NIHJ, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC6538p, Candida albicans 10231, Aspergillus niger 1231 and Tricophyton mentagrophytes 6085. Among these derivatives 3, 9, 18 and 23 showed the potent antibacterial activities. 18, 23 and 28 have the antifungal activities. However, these compounds have no significant hemolytic activity at concentrations higher than that required for showing the antibacterial and antifungal activities.

One hundred and twenty usual profitable items of oriental drugs are selected and attempted to standardize their origins, appearances, properties, purities and identification reactions in order to evaluate those qualities.

네트워크 초기 설정을 하는 경우와 동일한 프리픽스론 사용하는 인접 노드와 정보를 주고받기 위해 사용되는 인접 노드 탐색 프로토콜에 보안 기능을 지원하는 SEND 프로토콜은 메시지의 무결성과 부인 방지 기능은 제공하지만 메시지의 기밀성은 제공 할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 SEND 프로토콜의 보안 기능을 분석하고, 대칭 키 암호화 방식을 적용하여 메시지의 무결성을 제공하는 기법을 제안한다.
