In this paper we are obtained new results for bivariate pro-cesses which help us to tell the dependent structure among hitting times of the processes. We are proposed both dependence properties and the-oretical results among the processes and certain kinds of dependence properties when we are imposed on processes are reflected as analo-gous properties of corresponding hitting times. Finlly we are given some examples to illustrate these concepts.

For a long time, Saekdong has been recognized as the quintessential expression of the beauty reflecting the cultural sense of Korean people.

In this paper we introduce a new concept of more weakly quadrant dependence of hitting times of stochastic processes. This concept is weaker than the more positively quadrant dependence of hitting times of stochastic processes. This concept is weaker than the more positively quadrant dependence and it is closed under some statistical operations of weakly positive quadrant dependence(WPQD) ordering.

A 23-year-old medical student showed a positive reaction on a skin test for Paragonimus westermani, and two Tarsonemus floricolus mites were subsequently found by sputum examination and identified morphologically. Our report is the first human case of Tarsonemus floricofus in Korea.

We prove a functional central limit theorem for a linear random field generated by negatively associated multi-dimensional random variables. Under finite second moment condition we extend the result in Kim, Ko and Choi[Kim,T.S, Ko,M.H and Choi, Y.K.,2008. The invariance principle for linear multi-parameter stochastic processes generated by associated fields. Statist. Probab. Lett. 78, 3298-3303] to the negatively associated case.

Korea holds the first rank in the world for shipbuilding industry, we should develop the welding technology which is fundamental technique in order to keep the first rank. In this study, therefore, welding characteristics of shipbuilding steel using arc and laser were compered experimentally to apply laser-arc hybrid welding system in the heavy industry including shipbuilding as next generation welding process.

용접성은 모재의 조직과 기계적 성질 및 Bond 부와 열영향부의 조직과 기계적 성질의 관계로 평가된다. 탈소 함량이 높은 레일강의 경우 용접을 하고 나면 열영향부에 마르텐사이트와 같은 취약조직을 형성하여 경도 값이 높아지고 인성이 저하되어 균열발생 가능성이 높아진다. (중략)
