Currently, one of the fields leading the 4th industrial revolution is the image recognition field of artificial intelligence, which is showing good results in many fields. In this paper, using is a YOLO V2 model, which is one of the image recognition models, we intend to classify and select into three types according to the characteristics of fruits. To this end, it was designed to proceed the number of iterations of learning 9000 counts based on 640 mandarin image data of 3 classes. For model evaluation, normal, rotten, and unripe mandarin oranges were used based on images. We as a result of the experiment, the accuracy of the learning model was different depending on the number of learning. Normal mandarin oranges showed the highest at 60.5% in 9000 repetition learning, and unripe mandarin oranges also showed the highest at 61.8% in 9000 repetition learning. Lastly, rotten tangerines showed the highest accuracy at 86.0% in 7000 iterations. It will be very helpful if the results of this study are used for fruit farms in rural areas where labor is scarce.
Rural areas, which account for about 90% of the country's land area, are increasing in importance and value as a space that performs various public functions. However, facilities that adversely affect residents' lives, such as livestock facilities, factories, and solar panels, are being built indiscriminately near residential areas, damaging the rural environment and landscape and lowering the quality of residents' lives. In order to prevent disorderly development in rural areas and manage rural space in a planned manner, detection and monitoring of hazardous facilities in rural areas is necessary. Data can be acquired through satellite imagery, which can be acquired periodically and provide information on the entire region. Effective detection is possible by utilizing image-based deep learning techniques using convolutional neural networks. Therefore, U-Net model, which shows high performance in semantic segmentation, was used to classify potentially hazardous facilities in rural areas. In this study, KOMPSAT ortho-mosaic optical imagery provided by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute in 2020 with a spatial resolution of 0.7 meters was used, and AI training data for livestock facilities, factories, and solar panels were produced by hand for training and inference. After training with U-Net, pixel accuracy of 0.9739 and mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) of 0.7025 were achieved. The results of this study can be used for monitoring hazardous facilities in rural areas and are expected to be used as basis for rural planning.

This paper aimed to investigate the difference of clothing behavior and desired image according to individualism-collectivism cultural tendency for women. A survey of 217 adult women was conducted from November to December 2006, mainly in Daegu. Reliability, frequency, percentage, factor analysis, ANOVA, t-test, Tukey test and an -analysis were used for data analysis by using SPSS WIN 11.0 package. The results were as follows: First, while the group with a higher tendency toward individualism valued personality and convenience above everything else, the group which has a higher tendency to collectivism disposition has a much greater interested in conformity and brand-orientation. Second, while the group with a higher tendency toward individualism pursued an bold image for their clothing, the group with a higher tendency toward collectivism preferred a feminine and plain image. Third, regarding the individualism-collectivism and demographic peculiarity, there were no significant differences between the two groups according to marital status and average monthly income. However, there were significant differences in individualism-collectivism among the groups determined by age, occupation, educational background and rural or urban background.
The detection of crop stress is an important issue for the accurate assessment of yield decline. The photochemical reflectance index (PRI) was developed as a remotely sensed indicator of light use efficiency (LUE). The PRI has been tested in crop stress detection and a number of studies demonstrated the feasibility of using it. However, only few studies have focused on the use of PRI from remote sensing imagery. The monitoring of PRI using drone and satellite is made difficult by the low spectral resolution image captures. In order to estimate PRI from multispectral sensor, we propose a band fusion method using adjacent bands. The method is applied to the drone-based hyperspectral and multispectral imagery and estimated PRI explain 79% of the original PRI. And time series analyses showed that two PRI data (drone-based and SRS sensor) had very similar temporal variations. From these results, PRI from multispectral imagery using band fusion can be used as a new method for evaluation of crop stress.
In agriculture, remote sensing data using earth observation satellites have many advantages over other methods in terms of time, space, and efficiency. This study analyzed the changes of reflectance and vegetation index according to atmospheric correction of images before using satellite images in agriculture. Top OF Atmosphere (TOA) reflectance and surface reflectance through atmospheric correction were calculated to compare the reflectance of each band and Normalized Vegetation difference Index (NDVI). As a result, the NDVI observed from field measurement sensors and satellites showed a higher agreement and correlation than the TOA reflectance calculated from surface reflectance using atmospheric correction. Comparing NDVI before and after atmospheric correction for multi-temporal images, NDVI increased after atmospheric corrected in all images. garlic and onion cultivation area and forest where the vegetation health was high area NDVI increased more 0.1. Because the NIR images are included in the water vapor band, atmospheric correction is greatly affected. Therefore, atmospheric correction is a very important process for NDVI time-series analysis in applying image to agricultural field.
Rice production with adequate level of area is important for decision making of rice supply and demand policy. It is essential to grasp rice cultivation areas in advance for estimating rice production of the year. This study was carried out to classify paddy rice cultivation in Gimje-si using sentinel-1 SAR (synthetic aperture radar) and UAV imagery in early July. Time-series Sentinel-1A and 1B images acquired from early May to early July were processed to convert into sigma naught (dB) images using SNAP (SeNtinel application platform, Version 8.0) toolbox provided by European Space Agency. Farm map and parcel map, which are spatial data of vector polygon, were used to stratify paddy field population for classifying rice paddy cultivation. To distinguish paddy rice from other crops grown in the paddy fields, we used the decision tree method using threshold levels and random forest model. Random forest model, trained by mainly rice cultivation area and rice and soybean cultivation area in UAV image area, showed the best performance as overall accuracy 89.9%, Kappa coefficient 0.774. Through this, we were able to confirm the possibility of early estimation of rice cultivation area in Gimje-si using UAV image.
This study aimed to develop a precise vegetation cover classification model for small streams using the combination of drone remote sensing and support vector machine (SVM) techniques. The chosen study area was the Idong stream, nestled within Geosan-gun, Chunbuk, South Korea. The initial stage involved image acquisition through a fixed-wing drone named ebee. This drone carried two sensors: the S.O.D.A visible camera for capturing detailed visuals and the Sequoia+ multispectral sensor for gathering rich spectral data. The survey meticulously captured the stream's features on August 18, 2023. Leveraging the multispectral images, a range of vegetation indices were calculated. These included the widely used normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), the soil-adjusted vegetation index (SAVI) that factors in soil background, and the normalized difference water index (NDWI) for identifying water bodies. The third stage saw the development of an SVM model based on the calculated vegetation indices. The RBF kernel was chosen as the SVM algorithm, and optimal values for the cost (C) and gamma hyperparameters were determined. The results are as follows: (a) High-Resolution Imaging: The drone-based image acquisition delivered results, providing high-resolution images (1 cm/pixel) of the Idong stream. These detailed visuals effectively captured the stream's morphology, including its width, variations in the streambed, and the intricate vegetation cover patterns adorning the stream banks and bed. (b) Vegetation Insights through Indices: The calculated vegetation indices revealed distinct spatial patterns in vegetation cover and moisture content. NDVI emerged as the strongest indicator of vegetation cover, while SAVI and NDWI provided insights into moisture variations. (c) Accurate Classification with SVM: The SVM model, fueled by the combination of NDVI, SAVI, and NDWI, achieved an outstanding accuracy of 0.903, which was calculated based on the confusion matrix. This performance translated to precise classification of vegetation, soil, and water within the stream area. The study's findings demonstrate the effectiveness of drone remote sensing and SVM techniques in developing accurate vegetation cover classification models for small streams. These models hold immense potential for various applications, including stream monitoring, informed management practices, and effective stream restoration efforts. By incorporating images and additional details about the specific drone and sensors technology, we can gain a deeper understanding of small streams and develop effective strategies for stream protection and management.

"Residence safety and image(0.237)", and e "economic value(0.157)" is relatively low(C.I. 0.213). Third, for the secondary hierarchy structure, the case of life convenience is showed that economic condition(0.403) is the highest, the case of educational condition is showed that education facilities(0.479), the case of residence safety and image is showed that residence area(0.490) is the highest, and the case of economic importance is showed that financial technology(0.470) is the highest.
Drone-mounted hyperspectral sensors (DHSs) have revolutionized remote sensing in agriculture by offering a cost-effective and flexible platform for high-resolution spectral data acquisition. Their ability to capture data at low altitudes minimizes atmospheric interference, enhancing their utility in agricultural monitoring and management. This study focused on addressing the challenges of radiometric and geometric distortions in preprocessing drone-acquired hyperspectral data. Radiometric correction, using the empirical line method (ELM) and spectral reference panels, effectively removed sensor noise and variations in solar irradiance, resulting in accurate surface reflectance values. Notably, the ELM correction improved reflectance for measured reference panels by 5-55%, resulting in a more uniform spectral profile across wavelengths, further validated by high correlations (0.97-0.99), despite minor deviations observed at specific wavelengths for some reflectors. Geometric correction, utilizing a rubber sheet transformation with ground control points, successfully rectified distortions caused by sensor orientation and flight path variations, ensuring accurate spatial representation within the image. The effectiveness of geometric correction was assessed using root mean square error(RMSE) analysis, revealing minimal errors in both east-west(0.00 to 0.081 m) and north-south directions(0.00 to 0.076 m).The overall position RMSE of 0.031 meters across 100 points demonstrates high geometric accuracy, exceeding industry standards. Additionally, image mosaicking was performed to create a comprehensive representation of the study area. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the applied preprocessing techniques and highlight the potential of DHSs for precise crop health monitoring and management in smart agriculture. However, further research is needed to address challenges related to data dimensionality, sensor calibration, and reference data availability, as well as exploring alternative correction methods and evaluating their performance in diverse environmental conditions to enhance the robustness and applicability of hyperspectral data processing in agriculture.
