  • We all know *.x file is a bridge of the 3D model developer and the game developer. In today's 3D game programming, more and more advanced hardware support it to run, but we still need to consider the methods to generate the animations. 3D model maker is tired of rectifying the skeletal animations. If he mistakes one point in some one animation, this will lead to distortion in *.x file. Then the modification consumes long time. So finding a good blending method is the best choice for generating multiple skeletal animations. There were some methods for animations blending. In this paper, we could use 3D max or Maya to blend animations; and we could use *.x file and blend animations in coding. And we will use 3D max 8.0 to export the *.x file and present a better way to combine skeletal animations.

Effects of scalp treatment using combinational massage technique on human physiology

  • The purposes of this study are to measure physiological reactions of human body according to the scalp treatment, a popularized service in beauty care industry and propose efficient ways of scalp treatment. To meet the goals, total 30 applicants without any medical history(5 males and 5 females in 20's, 30's and 40's respectively) were informed on the purpose of experiment hereof and were investigated and received a 30-minute scalp treatment, which combines standardized scalp treatment massage technique proposed by KAT and ITF with another massage technique operated in the beauty salon run by the author of this paper. 5ml of blood samples were taken from each subject before and after the scalp treatment respectively and the blood sample was divided into 3 different tubes for analysis: 1) 2 ml for blood cell analysis, 2) 2ml for enzyme activity measurement, 3) 1ml for hormone level reading. In order to determine effects of scalp treatment on ALP, GOT, GPT, ${\gamma}-GTP$, WBC, RBC, Hb, Hct, Platelet, MCV, MCH and MCHC, all collected data were used for measuring respective levels of these blood substances by means of enzyme reaction measurement, enzyme activity measurement and automated hematology analyzer. Then, all measured data were analyzed through paired t-test using SPSS WIN 11.5. As a result, the scalp treatment is associated with improving hepatic function, facilitating blood circulation and helping blood coagulation and hemostasis in a effective way. Therefore, it would be necessary to conduct further studies on this subject related to anemia in the future.

  • 능동적 학습(active learning)은 제한된 시간과 인력으로 가능한 정확도가 높은 분류기(classifier)를 생성하기 위하여, 훈련집합에 추가할 예제 즉 문의예제(query example)의 선정과 확장된 훈련집합으로 다시 학습하는 과정을 반복하여 수행한다. 능동적 학습의 핵심은 사용자에게 카테고리(category) 부여를 요청할 문의예제를 선정하는 과정에 있다. 효과적인 문의예제를 선정하기 위하여 다양한 방안들이 제안되었으나, 이들은 매 문의단계마다 하나의 문의예제를 선정하는 경우에 가장 적합하도록 고안되었다. 능동적 학습이 복수의 예제를 사용자에게 문의할 수 있다면, 사용자는 문의예제들을 서로 비교해 가면서 작업할 수 있으므로 카테고리 부여작업을 보다 빠르고 정확하게 수행할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 충분한 인력을 보유한 상황에서는, 카테고리 부여작업을 병렬로 처리할 수 있어 전반적인 학습시간의 단축에 큰 도움이 될 것이다. 하지만, 각 예제의 문의예제로써의 적합 정도를 추정하면 유사한 예제들은 서로 비슷한 수준으로 평가되므로, 기존의 방안들을 복수의 문의예제 선정작업에 그대로 적용할 경우, 유사한 예제들이 문의예제로 동시에 선정되어 능동적 학습의 효율이 저하되는 현상이 나타날 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 특정 예제를 문의예제로 선정하면 이와 일정 수준이상 유사한 예제들은 해당 예제와 함께 문의예제로 선정하지 않음으로써, 이러한 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다. 제안한 방안을 문서분류 문제에 적용해 본 결과 기존 문의예제 선정방안으로 복수 문의예제를 선정할 때 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 상당히 완화시킬 있을 뿐 아니라, 복수의 문의예제를 선정하더라도 각 문의 단계마다 하나의 예제를 선정하는 경우에 비해 큰 성능의 저하가 없음을 실험적으로 확인하였다./$m\ell$로 나타났다.TEX>${HCO_3}^-$ 이온의 탈착은 서서히 진행되었다.   • Recent the advanced technologies in medical imaging such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) make doctors improve the diagnostic skill with detailed anatomical information. In general, it is necessary to get a number of MRI images in order to obtain more detail information. However, the performance of MRI machines of privately run hospitals is not good and thus we may obtain only a few of MRI images. If 3D surface reconstruction is accomplished with a few slices, then it generates 3D surface of poor qualify. This paper propose a way to Set a 3D surface of high quality from a few of number of slices. First of all, our algorithm detects the boundary of tissues which we want to reconstruct as a 3D object and find out the set of vortices on the boundary. And then we generate a 3D implicit surface to interpolate the boundary points by using radial basis function. Lastly, we render the 3D implicit surface by using Marching cube algorithms.

  • I have developed a processor for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) raw data compression using range-doppler algorithm for educational purpose. The program realized a generic SAR focusing algorithm so that it can deal with any SAR system if the specification is known. It can run efficiently on a low-cost computer by selecting minimum size out of a whole dataset, and can produce intermediate images during the process. Especially, the program is designed for educational purpose in such a way that Doppler centroid and azimuth ambiguity can be determined graphically by the user. By distributing the source code and the algorithm to public, I intend to maximize the educational effect on understanding and utilizing SAR data. This paper introduces the principle of SAR focusing algorithm embedded on the eSAR processor and shows an example of data processing using ERS-1 raw data.

  • Background: With the development of the information technology industry and the increasing importance of health information, there is a need to analyze the current certification system for health information management education. This study compared and analyzed the health information management education accreditation system between the Republic of Korea and the United States. Methods: Descriptive analysis and quantitative methodologies were used to compare the education accreditation system and understand the current status of health information management curriculum run by universities in the Republic of Korea and the United States. Results: Regardless of the academic year, the Republic of Korea had one certification system based on subject-based criteria. However, the United States had a certification system for associate, baccalaureate, and master's degree programs with competency-based criteria. The accreditation system was different in terms of the way the curriculum is certified and the options for the different levels of university degree programs. Conclusion: Accordingly, it is necessary to consider improving the quality of health information management personnel at different levels by improving the current accreditation system and differentiating the curriculum according to the degree program levels in the Republic of Korea.

Bruno Dumont's Cinematic World Seen from the Perspective of the New Extremism: Focusing on P'tit Quinquin (신극단주의 관점에서 바라본 브루노 뒤몽의 영화세계 - <릴 퀸퀸>을 중심으로)

  • Bruno Dumont's film P'tit Quinquin (2014) trends toward 'the new extremism' in contemporary European cinema. This criminal-mystery-comedy film achieves the cinematic recognition of reality in the new extremist way: like typical new extremist films, P'tit Quinquin contains a lot of 'unwatchable' content, including disembodied parts of human body, carcasses, and the body of a boy who has killed himself. The reality, however, remains confidently invisible, despite everything that is visible within the film. In understanding Dumont's attempt to reach cinematic recognition, the relationship between 'the visible' and 'the invisible' is reconsidered. In the context of the film, the relationship between cinema and reality becomes indirect. The reality can be only felt, not seen. The invisible reality can be perceived only as a void, just like the criminal who is unknown even though he is sought after. To reveal this void, the film strives to give its viewers as much explicitly visible content as possible during its 200-minute run. This essay is an interdisciplinary attempt to examine the working and the effects of this cinematic attempt by Bruno Dumont; aspects of film theory, visual anthropology, (inter-)mediology, posthumanism in cultural theory, etc., are related for this purpose.

An Efficiency Analysis on Mutation Operation with TSP solved in Genetic Algorithm

  • Genetic Algorithm(GA) is applied to a problem that could not figure out its solution in a straightway. It is called as NP-hard problem. GA requires a high-performance system to be run on since the high-cost operations are needed such as crossover, selection, and mutation. Moreover, the scale of the problem domain is normally huge. That is why the straightway cannot be applied. To reduce the drawback of high-cost requirements, we try to answer if all the operations including mutation are necessary for all cases. In the experiment, we set up two cases of with/without mutation operations and gather the number of generations and the fitness of a solution. The subject in the experiment is Travelling Salesman Problem(TSP), which is one of the popular problems solved by GA. As a result, the cases with mutation operation are not faster and the solution is fitter than the case with mutation operation. From the result, the conclusion is that mutation operation does not always need for a better solution in a faster way.

  • The Vietnamese economy is a developing country that has brought many opportunities and challenges for the banking system. Commercial banks have developed strongly from quality to quantity, which plays a vital role in developing the economy. They play an important role in capital formation, which is essential for the economic development of a country. They provide financial services to the general public and businesses, ensuring economic and social stability and sustainable growth of the economy. Therefore, the relationship between bank depth and economic growth is of importance in research. This paper used a VAR (Vector Autoregressive Models) estimator for time series data models. The data is collected quarterly from the first quarter of the year 2000 to 2020. The study uses the VAR model to examine the causal relationships of economic growth, growth in money supply expansion, private sector capital requirement, and banks' domestic credit. The results indicate a general short-run relationship between banking sector depth and economic growth with a positive connection, but in the long term, the relationship between these variables can be reversed because of other macro factors. The findings show the two-way causal relationship between GDP growth and banking depth factors. This research contributes to policy-making by underlining the banking sector depth determinants when setting regulations and policies to develop the banking sector.

Optimization of the whole extract of Zarawand Mudaharaj (Aristolochia rotunda L.) root by Response Surface Methodology (RSM)

  • The chemical constitution of a drug has been accepted as an important basis for pharmacological action in Unani medicine. Various dosage forms have been developed on this concept, such as decoctions (Joshanda), infusions (Khesanda), extract (Rub / Usara), and syrup. Zarawand Mudaharaj (ZM.) / Aristolochia rotunda L. root was subjected to extraction process using Soxhlet's apparatus by using Response Surface Methodology (RSM) to design the number of random runs of the extracts with variation in the factors of temperature, the concentration of ethanol in water, time for extraction, for optimizing and maximizing the yield concentration. The data obtained, was analyzed with regression equation and ANOVA two-way summary to interpret the interaction of the factors for yield maximization. Minitab version 18 was used to design and analyze data. Validation of the optimum conditions for maximum yield of the whole extract of ZM. Root was carried out by re-run of the extract using the optimized conditions. The maximum yield percentage thus obtained using RSM was 20.87% whereas using these optimum conditions 21.35 % yield was obtained thereby validating the method. The association between the response functions and the process variables was identified by a three-factor recorded Box-Behnken design. In the present study RSM is used because itis a cheap and affordable method to optimize maximum yield percentage which may be reliably used by researchers. The study set in the surface conditions for ZM. root extraction by the Soxhlet apparatus for maximizing the yield percentage.
