  • Roll Playing Game is currently one of the most popular game genre with qualitive and quantitative development from the start of Table RPG. Meanwhile the rules and systems of games have been repeated old system, that new RPG game are confronting many problems.   • From several commercialized games the technique of changing facial expressions is imported, and a design method of a game character for the player's empathy is expected to be diversified in the future. In this paper, as a design method of a game character for the player's empathy, this makes walking motion for the game character applied with 'human-emotion' factors as statistics variation of a game character in RPG genre. After this paper implements analyzed emotions of human facial expression and walking motions applied with emotion in examples of character animation theory, this paper divides walking motion applied with human-emotion factors into 8 types through relationship to statistics factors in RPG genre. And then these are applied to a knight character, which has the most similarity with human's physical feature of the game characters in RPG genre, and makes walking motion as variable statistics. As a game player controls the game character applied with 'human-emotion' factors, the effect of the player's empathy about the game character becomes higher, and the level of immersion in game play is also expected to increase.

  • MRDS is a short range missile/rocket defense system which protects a main battle tank(MBT) from threats at a short range. It is composed of 2 radars, 2 infrared trackers(IRT)s, 1 fire control computer(FCC), 2 launchers and countermeasures. In this paper, the radar and the IRT models based on sensing errors, the FCC model based on filtering errors, the launcher model based on driving errors and the countermeasure model based on flying errors are proposed to analyze the defense performance with the approaching RPG-7 and the moving MBT. The simulation results are presented to evaluate and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • This paper analyses the main aspects the aspects of the Third-person shooting game and then investigates the released TPS games which are integrated with Role-playing game types of genres. Then we propose the technical points in designing and developing of the integrated action games to increase the immersion in playing the games. Also we propose the artifice in order to cut down the cost and enhance the portability to the mobile platform.

  • Anti-tank weapons are among the infantry weapons used by the armies of many countries. Anti-tank rockets and explosives such as TNT, generally used for armour piercing, are also frequently used in terrorist attacks. These attacks damage the protection facilities built from reinforced concrete. Rockets or similar explosives' rapid speed and burst temperatures pierce reinforced concrete during strikes, resulting in casualties and damage to crucial strategic structures. This study aimed to devise an economic and applicable reinforced concrete plate that could absorb the impact of anti-tank rockets and Trinitrotoluene (TNT) type explosives. Therefore, 5 different samples, produced from C50 reinforced concrete and 150×150 cm in size, were formed by combining plates of different numbers and thicknesses. Also, a sample, which was a single thick plate, was prepared. In destructive testing, Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG-7) was used as the anti-tank rocket launcher. As a result of this study, the impact damage was reduced with hollow concrete plate geometries, and recommendations were developed for complete prevention.

  • Battles between players and monsters are considered to be the core issues of RPG games, and they are something that effects the players the most when it comes to thinking whether that particular game is fun or not. Even though MMORPGs have enabled RPGs to get out of the repetitiveness into unlimited possibility of expandability and capability of modification of game plays, essential game play process remains still important - the basic battle between the player and the monsters. In this research, we made a simulator to simulate the process of the battles to estimate results of battles by pre-testing the battles with setting up the experience values of players and monsters using formulae needed for the battle systems at the beginning of game development. It can be utilized at a tester to find out a better configuration of monsters in the maps for better optimization of time and efficiency of the battles to satisfy the game planning.

  • <스폐셜포스>. <스타크래프트>, <리니지1,2>등 이른바 게임순위 '부동의 3인방'을 제외한 10위권내 게임들의순위싸움이 치열한 한 달이었다. 리니지시리즈가 주도하고 있던 일명 '노가다'중심의 한국 온라인 RPG시장에서 방대한 세계관과 퀘스트위주의 참신한 게임성으로 RPG흐름 자테를 바꾸어 놓았던 <월드 오브 워크래프트>(이하('와우')는 지난달 17일 18시를 기점으로 전격적으로 '가격인하'를 단행. 제2의 도약을 꿈꾸고 있다. 상용화 초기, 다소 비싼 정액요금으로 유저들의 반발을 사기도 했던 와우는 7일. 30일. 90일의 정액 요금을 각각 20%씩 인하했다. 특히 30일 기준으로 1만9,800원으로 책정된 와우의 이용요금은 최근 상용화를 단행한 로한)과 더불어 30일 기준. 2만원 이하의 온라인게임 가격파괴를 가져올 것이라는 조심스런 전망까지 나오고 있다. 더욱 치열해지고 있는 온라인게임들의 4월한달간 게임동향을 살펴봤다.

Recurrent parent genome (RPG) recovery analysis in a marker-assisted backcross breeding based on the genotyping-by-sequencing in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) (토마토 MABC 육종에서 GBS(genotyping-by-sequencing)에 의한 RPG(recurrent parent genome) 회복률 분석)

  • Marker-assisted backcrossing (MABC) is useful for selecting an offspring with a highly recovered genetic background for a recurrent parent at early generation to various crops. Moreover, marker-assisted backcrossing (MABC) along with marker-assisted selection (MAS) contributes immensely to overcome the main limitation of the conventional breeding and it accelerates recurrent parent genome (RPG) recovery. In this study, we were employed to incorporate rin gene(s) from the donor parent T13-1084, into the genetic background of HK13-1151, a popular high-yielding tomato elite inbred line that is a pink color fruit, in order to develop a rin HK13-1084 improved line. The recurrent parent genome recovery was analyzed in early generations of backcrossing using SNP markers obtained from genotyping-by-sequencing analysis. From the $BC_1F_1$ and $BC_2F_1$ plants, 3,086 and 4868 polymorphic SNP markers were obtained via GBS analysis, respectively. These markers were present in all twelve chromosomes. The background analysis revealed that the extent of RPG recovery ranged from 56.7% to 84.5% and from 87.8% to 97.8% in $BC_1F_1$ and $BC_2F_1$ generations, respectively. In this study, No 5-1 with 97.8% RPG recovery rate among $BC_2F_1$ plants was similar to HK13-1151 strain in the fruit shape. Therefore, the selected plants were fixed in $BC_2F_2$ generation through selfing. MAS allowed identification of the plants that are more similar to the recurrent parent for the loci evaluated in the backcross generations. MABC can greatly reduce breeding time as compared to the conventional backcross breeding. For instance, MABC approach greatly shortened breeding time in tomato.
