본 연구에서는 내부도메인 멀티캐스트 라우팅 프로토콜중의 하나인 CBT(core-based tree) 프로토콜에서 발생하기 쉬운 코어라우터로의 트래픽 집중 철상을 해결하기 위해 지정코어라우터에 트래픽 폭주가 발생했을 때 멀티캐스트 그룹 가입자로 하여금 동적으로 코어를 변경할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 제시한다.

In this work, we propose an analytic framework for evaluating the quality of service and dimensioning the link capacity in the gateway router of a smart farm with a greenhouse eco-management system. Specifically, we focus on the gateway router of an IoT network that provides an access service for smart farms. We design the link capacity of a gateway router that is used for the remote management of the greenhouse eco-management system to accommodate both time-critical and delay-tolerant traffic in a greenhouse LAN. For this purpose, we first investigate the ecosystem for smart farm, and we define the specification and requirements of the greenhouse eco-management system. Second, we propose a system model for the link capacity of a gateway that is required to guarantee the delay performance of time-critical applications in the greenhouse LAN. Finally, the validity of the proposed system is demonstrated through a series of numerical experiments.

This paper considers a scheduling problem of routers with VOQ(Virtual Output Queue)s, where the router has an N ${\times}$N port input-queued switch and each input queue is composed of N VOQs. The objective of the paper is to develope scheduling algorithms which minimize mean tardiness under a common due date. The paper characterizes the optimal solution properties. Based upon the characterization, a integer programming is formulated for the optimal solution and two optimal solution algorithms are developed for two special cases of 2 ${\times}$2 switch and N${\times}$N switch with identical traffic.

Router main task is to provide routing of Internet Protocol (IP) packets. Routing is achieved with help of the IP lookup. Router stores information about the networks and interfaces in data structures commonly called as routing tables. Comparison of IP from incoming packet with the IPs stored in routing table for the information about route is IP Lookup. IP lookup performs by longest IP prefix matching. The performance of the IP router is based on the speed of prefix matching. IP lookup is a major bottle neck in the performance of Router. Various algorithms and data structures are available for IP lookup. This paper is about reviewing various tree based structure and its performance evaluation.

신뢰성 있는 멀티캐스트의 확장성을 얻기위해 사용할 수 있는 한 가지 방법은 계층구조를 이용하는 것이다. 계층구조는 라우터가 가진 정보를 이용하는 RAH(Router Assistance Hierarchy)와 라우터가 가진 정보를 이용하지 않는 ALH(Application Level Hierarchy)를 사용해서 구성될 수 있다. 라우터는 하부 네트워크의 구성 정보를 가지고 있으므로 RAH 가 더 좋은 성능을 내리라 예측할 수 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 가정아래 Router Assisted Hierarchy 와 Non Router Assisted Hierachy 를 비교한다. 본 논문의 네트워크 모델 구현시 router assistance 를 제공하는데 필요한 cost 와 hierarchy 를 구성하는데 필요한 overhead는 고려치 않았다.

One of the key components to accomplish WDM all-optical network is an arrayed waveguide grating router. The spectral characterisitc of the ypeical arrayed waveguide grating rouger has parabolic shape, hence the bandwidth is limited. The spectral response of an optical filter should be as flat as possible for the reliable operation of the syste, because the center frequency of the optical source could be deviated in the actual system. In order to acquire these characteristics, we propose and design a new type of the arrayed waveguide grating router with a flat passband using the Fourier optics concept. The BPM simulation results of the new arrayed waveguide grating router with the flat passband show that the bandwideth is 0.8 nm at -1 dB, instertion loss about 6 dB, and the crosstalk less than -23 dB fro each cnannel, which is 1.6 nm(200 GHz) separated from the adjacent channel around 1550 nm wavelength range.

Dynamic Source Routing(DSR) 프로토콜은 이동 노드의 Multi-hop wireless ad hoc 망사용을 위해 특별히 디자인된 효율적인 라우팅 프로토콜이다. DSR은 일한 관리 없이 운용될 수 있도록 자기구조화 되어있으며 자기조직화 되어있다. "Router Discovery"와 "Router Maintenance"의 두 매카니즘으로 프로토콜은 구성되어 작동하며, 전적으로 on-demand로 작동한다. 본 논문에서는 multi-hop wireless ad hoc 망 상에서의 DSR 프로토콜 동작을 살펴보고, 시뮬레이션을 통한 DSR 프로토콜의 성능을 도시하여 DSR 알고리즘을 분석하고자 한다. DSR 알고리즘을 분석하고자 한다.

Multi-functional USN Gateway (MUG) is a multipurpose system combining a mesh router and a sensor gateway. The paper presents the design and implementation of the MUG system and the test-bed to verify the MUG system. MUG combines IEEE 802.11n based Wi-Fi mesh router functions and USN gateway functions. MUG supports IP sensor networks based on 6LoWPAN and non IP sensor networks based on ZigBee. MUG also provides various backhaul network interfaces including WiBro, HSDPA, and Ethernet Interfaces. We verify the feasibility of the MUG system through implementation and evaluate the performance by installing and testing several MUG systems in the test-bed.

가정에서나 이동 단말을 이용하여 원격으로 인터넷을 이용하는 이용자가 증가하고 있다. 된 논문에서는 다양한 형태의 액세스 기술을 통하여 접속하는 인터넷 트래픽을 효과적으로 기업망이나 인터넷 액세스 서비스 제공자 장치까지 전달하기 위한 인터넷 액세스 서비스 제공 방안을 제시하고 이를 실현하기 위한 통합액세스노드 시스템에서의 인터넷 액세스 라우터 기능을 설계한다. 제안하는 인터넷 액세스 라우터는 인터넷 이용자가 불특정 인터넷 액세스 서비스 제공자를 실시간으로 선택할 수 있도록 하고 이용자가 기존의 PPP 세션을 이용하여 해당 NSP까지 안전하게 접속할 수 있는 VPN 기능을 제공한다.
