Stochastic Combat Simulation with Variable Hit Probabilities (명중확률의 변화를 고려한 확률과정 전투 시뮬레이션)

  • The effect of variable hit probabilities in the stochastic duel are examined. The objective of this study is to evaluate the outcomes of combat under the situations which we assume either round dependent hit probabilities or time dependent hit probabilities. Due to the complexity of an analytic approach to large-sized battles, a simulation modeling technique has been introduced. several specific examples are demonstrated fire allocation strategies. Output measures are compared among cases each with its own type of hit probability fashion such as constant, round to round, or time dependent manners. For these specific cases, the advantages of round to round improvement or increasing function of time for the hit probability are displayed.

Heat Transfer Characteristics of Oval-Tube Heat Exchanger (타원관 열교환기의 열전달 특성)

  • This study experimentally investigates an air-side performance of oval tube heat exchanger against round tube heat exchanger using scaled-up model experiment for home air conditioners. A plain fin and round tube heat exchanger with 21 FPI(fins per inch) was used as a reference heat exchanger, and these were applied equally to 4 oval tube heat exchangers. Oval tube samples were designed with the same perimeter as 7.5mm diameter round tube, and their aspect ratios were 1:2, 1:3, respectively. In this study, the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of oval tube heat exchangers against round tube heat exchanger were also compared to one another, and an optimal samples for home air conditioners was recommended. And, general performance characteristics for an optimum oval tube samples chosen in this work was compared with round tube heat exchanger.

  • NIST는 PQC Round 3 평가 기준으로 부채널 분석 및 오류 주입에 대한 안전성을 역설함에 따라 Round 3 양자내성암호에 대한 새로운 부채널 공격 시나리오 및 대응 기법이 빠르게 제시되고 있다. 따라서 각 방법론의 동향을 파악하고 재정의, 분류하는 작업이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 NIST PQC Round 3 최종 후보 중 격자 기반 암호 KEM(SABER, CRYSTALS-KYBER, NTRU)에 대한 부채널 분석기법 및 대응기술 동향을 조사 및 분석하고 향후 Round 3 격자 기반 KEM 알고리즘의 부채널 연구 전망을 논의한다.

  • NIST는 2022년 양자내성암호 표준화 진행 대상 알고리즘으로 KEM 1종(CRYSTALS-Kyber), 전자서명3종(CRYSTALS-Dilithium, FALCON, SPHINCS+)을 발표하였고, 추가로 KEM 4종(Classic McEliece, HQC, BIKE, SIKE)에 대한 Round 4 진행을 공표하였다. Round 3와 마찬가지로 Round 4에서도 부채널 분석 및 오류 주입에 대한 안전성은 알고리즘 선정에 있어 중요 평가 사항 중 하나이다. 따라서 해당 암호 알고리즘에 대한 새로운 부채널 분석기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 Round 4의 암호 알고리즘 중 코드 기반 알고리즘 3종(Classic McEliece, HQC, BIKE)에 대한 부채널 분석 방법론의 동향을 파악하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시한다.

Finite element analysis for surface hardening of SM45C round bar by diode laser (다이오드 레이저를 이용한 SM45C 환봉 표면경화 열처리의 유한요소해석)

  • Surface heat treatment of SM45C round bar by diode laser was simulated to find it's condition by using commercial finite element code MARC. Due to axisymmetric geometry, a quarter of model for SM45C round bar was considered and user subroutines were applied to boundary condition for the heat transfer. Material properties such as conductivity, specific heat and mass density were given as a function of temperature. Rotation speed of round bar and feed rate of beam were considered to design heat source model. Shape parameter values of heat source were determined by beam profile. As results, Three dimensional heat source model for diode laser beam conditions of surface hardening has been designed by the comparison between the finite element analysis results and experimental data on SM45C round bar. Diode laser surface hardening for SM45C round bar was successfully simulated and it should be useful to determine optimal heat treatment condition.

On the development of DES round key generator based on Excel Macro (엑셀 매크로기능을 이용한 DES의 라운드 키 생성개발)

  • In this paper, we consider the development of round key generator of DES (data encryption standard) based on Microsoft Excel Macro, which was adopted as the FIPS (federal information processing standard) of USA in 1977. Simple introduction to DES is given. Algorithms for round key generator are adapted to excel macro. By repeating the 16 round which is consisted of diffusion (which hide the relation between plain text and cipher text) and the confusion (which hide the relation between cipher key and cipher text) with Microsoft Excel Macro, we can easily get the desired DES round keys.

  • In this study, we have proposed the random function arbitration method using a random function manager in other to use the merits and overcome the demerits of fixed priority and round-robin, Starvation phenomenon can be generated from the master having low priority in fixed priority method. Also, round-robin method can't give a priority to important master, however, as the proposed random function arbitration method can be random set the rate of fixed priority and round-robin, we can solve the problems of conventional arbitration methods. From TLM simulation, we confirmed that the bus utilization of master could be controled from 32% to 16% and the starvation phenomenon of master could be prevented.

  • This paper aims to explain the direction of a long-range policy for the development of fisheries industry and fishing villages in Korea after the Conclusion of the Uruguay Round Negotiations. When the Uruguay Round Negotiations were concluded last year, the government soon set up the Committee of Farming and Fishing Village Development under the direct control of the President and launched on the development of agriculture and fisheries policy to provide for the post-Uruguay Round. The Committee drew up an all-round policy report, "The Problem and Direction of Agriculture Policy Reform" as a result of the six-month activity of this committee from February through July, 1994 in which the author participated, and presented it to the President. The author rearranged the problems of a long-range policy related to fisheries industry and fishing villages apart from this report, and drew up another report under the title, "Fisheries Policy in Korea after the Conclusion of the Uruguay Round Negotiations : Its Problem and Direction," which was reported at the year 1994 autumn symposium of the Korean Pedagogic Society of Fisheries and Marine Sciences.

  • Block Cipher SEED which was developed by KISA are not only Korea national standard algorithm of TTA but also one of standard 128-bit block ciphers of ISO/IEC. Since SEED had been developed, many analyses were tried but there was no distinguishing cryptanalysis except the 7-round differential attack in 2002. The attack used the 6-round differential characteristic with probability $2^{-124}$ and analyzed the 7-round SEED with $2^{127}$ chosen plaintexts. In this paper, we propose a new 6-round differential characteristic with probability $2^{-110}$ and analyze the 7-round SEED with $2^{113}$ chosen plaintexts.

The Effect of Shoulder Stabilization Exercise through Visit Rehabilitation on Muscle Activity and Postural Alignment, Self-Efficacy in Rural Elderly People with Round Shoulders

  • Purpose: This study covered the effect of shoulder stabilization exercise on muscle activity, postural alignment and self-efficacy of the elderly people with round shoulders by visiting village hall in rural area. Methods: 40 elderly people with round shoulders were recruited for this study (experimental group: 20 subjects and control group: 20 subjects). The experimental group was asked to perform shoulder stabilization exercise 60 minutes per one time for 8 weeks and three times in a week and the control group was asked to receive education related to pain management for the initial one time. Before and after the experiment, we measured the subjects' muscle activity of upper trapezius, serratus anterior, infraspinatus, pectoralis major and the lower trapezius, then postural alignment of craniovertebral angle and round shoulder posture. In addition, self-efficacy is measured through the questionnaire. Results: Compared to the control group, the experimental group showed significant differences in the muscle activity of all muscles, posture alignment of the craniovertebral angle. round shoulder posture, and improvement of self-efficacy. Conclusion: We found that shoulder stabilization exercise is effective in muscle activity, postural alignment and self-efficacy of the elderly people through visit-rehabilitation service. This study can be used for improving the physical and mental abilities through active visit-rehabilitation service for areas where have poor medical benefits. It is considered that systematic visit rehabilitation service should have institutional framework ultimately.
