  • In recent years, as the optical Communication systems are developed, the demands of essential parts such as splitter, coupler, WDM, and AWG filter are grow rapidly. The fabrication process for them is not, however, automatic. On that reason, the automation is needed for the grow of productivity. The optical alignment and attach ment is the core process in fabrication. In this paper, the 6-axis rotary stage for multi-channel optical alignment system is developed and the dynamic characteristic of this system is studied.

  • In order to control the hybrid power system efficiently, the knowledge for the required load of the system is important. The agricultural tractor performs various farm works such as plow, rotary, and baler. When it performs rotary tillage and baler operation, the generated work load is analyzed. To analyze trend of work load, moving average technique is applied to the measurement data. Optimal control inputs for the two works are obtained from simulation using the dynamic programming. The novel fundamental control strategy for parallel hybrid tractor called Max. SOC is proposed.

  • The most generally implemented method to detect the ground speed of the railway vehicles is to use the rotary type speed sensor attached to wheel axle. The Slip or sliding phenomenon on the railway vehicles occurs frequently caused by the weak viscosity of the wheel. Thus, precisely to control the car, the slip/sliding detection system is required. In this paper we proposed for the speed data management system, which uses rotary type speed sensor. Proposed speed management system can detect the slip/sliding with wheel axle as well as correct the generated speed error during in error time, to provide accurate speed and precise location data. The effectiveness for adapting to the railway system is clarified by the computer simulation.

단면형 로터리경운날의 경운 특성 (Tillage Characteristics of the Single-Edged Rotary Blade)

  • The purpose of this study is to developed high-efficient rotary tillage system for a power tiller by improving the rotary blade. A kind of the rotary blade with single-edged blade(DS) was developed that requires lower tillage energy than conventional double-edged blade(CD) on the design theory for Japanese rotary blade. In order to find out the tillage characteristics between the single-edged blade and the double-edged blade for power tiller, experiments were performed in soil-bins which were filled up clay loam, loam and sandy loam, and then analyzed the effects of the factors such as soil texture, travelling speed, rotational speed, and tillage depth to each of the blades. And field tests were carried out to compare tillage performances of the two blades using rotary cultivator driven by conventional power tiller. The results of this study were summarized as follows; 1) On the soil bin experiment, it was found that tillage torque of the single-edged blade was less than the ones of the double-edged blade. The decreasing ratios of maximum tillage torque of the single-edged blade to the ones of the double-edged blade were 1 to 8% at clay loam, 5 to 20% at loam and 9 to 31% at sandy loam, respectively. 2) By the field tests, that the tillage performances with the single-edged blade compared with the double-edged blade was improved about 19% in field capacity, about 34% in fuel consumption, and 12.5% in soil breaking ratio. Furthermore, the fluctuation of engine speed, the variation of exhaust gas temperature, and the amount of soil clogging on the blade and straw wound on the rotary shaft showed lower values with the developed blade than the conventional blade. So, it may be concluded that tillage performance by the developed single-edged blade was improved compared with the one by the conventional double-edged blade.

  • 본 연구는 로터리 압축기의 사이드 블록 제작에 CAD/CAM을 활용한 것이다. 캠 시스템은 CAD(Solidworks), CAM(I-MASTER) 소프트웨어 및 CNC 밀링으로 이루어져 있다. 캠 소프트웨어는 컴퓨터 수치 제어 프로그래밍을 위한 G-코드 작성에 쓰인다.

구름 피스톤 이용 회전식 압축기 진동 해석 연구 (Vibration Analysis of a Rolling Piston Type Rotary Compressor)

  • This paper is concerned with a roiling piston type rotary compressor for air conditioning use. Vibration of the compressor is analyzed numerically and experimentally. Multibody dynamic analysis methods to predict the vibration is given. The compressor is modeled as a system composed of bodies, joints, and force elements. Experimental results are also shown to be compared with simulation results. A sensitivity study using different variables that affect the compressor vibration is also carried out. It is found that the mass of weight balancer plays an important role in acceleration.

스테레오 카메라와 2축 회전기구를 이용한 대형 이동물체의 치수측정 (Dimension Measurement for Large-scale Moving Objects Using Stereo Camera with 2-DOF Mechanism)

  • In this study, a novel method for dimension measurement of large-scale moving objects using stereo camera with 2-degree of freedom (2-DOF) mechanism is presented. The proposed method utilizes both the advantages of stereo vision technique and the enlarged visibility range of camera due to 2-DOF rotary mechanism in measuring large-scale moving objects. The measurement system employs a stereo camera combined with a 2-DOF rotary mechanism that allows capturing separate corners of the measured object. The measuring algorithm consists of two main stages. First, three-dimensional (3-D) positions of the corners of the measured object are determined based on stereo vision algorithms. Then, using the rotary angles of the 2-DOF mechanism the dimensions of the measured object are calculated via coordinate transformation. The proposed system can measure the dimensions of moving objects with relatively slow and steady speed. We showed that the proposed system guarantees high measuring accuracy with some experiments.

레이저 비전 기술을 이용한 물체의 3D 모델 재구성 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Three-Dimensional Model Reconstruction Based on Laser-Vision Technology)

  • In this study, we proposed a three-dimensional (3D) scanning system based on laser-vision technique and rotary mechanism for automatic 3D model reconstruction. The proposed scanning system consists of a laser projector, a camera, and a turntable. For laser-camera calibration a new and simple method was proposed. 3D point cloud data of the surface of scanned object was fully collected by integrating extracted laser profiles, which were extracted from laser stripe images, corresponding to rotary angles of the rotary mechanism. The obscured laser profile problem was also solved by adding an addition camera at another viewpoint. From collected 3D point cloud data, the 3D model of the scanned object was reconstructed based on facet-representation. The reconstructed 3D models showed effectiveness and the applicability of the proposed 3D scanning system to 3D model-based applications.

경운방법이 사일리지용 옥수수의 사초생산성 및 토양특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Tillage System on the Forage Production and Soil Characteristics of Silage Corn)

  • 우리나라에서 옥수수의 경운방법에 관한 연구는 많이 수행되지 않았다. 따라서 본 시험에서는 옥수수의 경운방법을 달리 하였을 때 토양특성, 잡초 및 사초생산성을 비교하였다. 본 시험의 시험구 배치는 4개의 경운방법을 달리한 난괴법 배치로 T1 처리구는 관행적인 방법으로 경운과 로타리를 한 처리구이며, T2는 로타리, T3는 디스크, T4는 무경운으로 하였다. 옥수수 파종전과 수확 후 토양의 특성에서는 pH 및 토양유기물은 파종전보다 수확시에 감소하였으나 다른 것은 큰 차이가 없었다. 그리고 경운방법의 비교에서는 처리간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 옥수수의 출사소요일수는 무경운이 가장 많이 소요되었다. 내도복성은 옥수수의 대지름이 굵은 디스크와 무경운이 관행과 디스크보다 높았다. 옥수수의 주요 잡초는 피 (Echinochloa crusgall), 어저귀 (Abutilon avicennae)), 바랭이 (Digitatia saguinalis) 및 비름 (Amaranthus retroflexus) 등이었으며, 경운방법간 비교에서는 무경운이 다른 처리구보다 잡초수량이 적었다. 옥수수의 건물률 및 암이삭 비율은 관행과 로타리구가 디스크와 무경운보다 높았다. 그러나 건물 및 TDN 수량은 디스크와 무경운이 관행과 로타리구보다 많았다. 따라서 미세경운인 디스크와 무경운은 내도복성과 수량을 증가키시고 잡초수량을 감소시키는 경운방법으로 적합하였다.
