롤필터를 장착한 객차용공기청정장치 개발 (The development of Air-cleaner with Roll Filter inside railroad passenger car)

  • The indoor air quality guideline of public transportation means was prepared recently. therefore we consider a countermeasure for the indoor air quality improvement of public transportation means. In this work, air-cleaner with roll filter system which developed alternative of indoor air quality guideline. The develpoed roll filter system is two function. the first function harmoniously circulated to heating and cooling air through HVAC system and secondary function removed PM(particluatie matters) which re-scatting to passenger's movement and suppled from outdoor air. Filter media of roll filter system select optimum electret mesh filter out of many filter media. Selected filter media was performanced tests of pressure drop, collection efficiency and dust holding capacity. Finally developed roll filter system was performanced bench test.

Roll-to-roll 공정으로 제조한 나노섬유가 코팅된 대면적 PTFE 필터 특성 (Characteristics of Large-area PTFE Filter Coated with PTFE Nanofiber Fabricated by Roll-to-roll Equipment)

  • 미세먼지 다량배출사업장의 미세먼지를 제거하는 백하우스의 백필터 여과체를 제작하기 위한 대면적 PTFE 나노섬유 제조 장치를 설계하여 제작하였다. 상용 PTFE 폼 필터의 미세먼지 여과효율을 높이기 위해 전기방사 공정과 열처리 공정을 이용하여 PTFE 나노섬유를 코팅하였다. PTFE 나노섬유를 대면적의 PTFE 폼 필터 표면에 연속적으로 코팅하기 위하여 roll-to-roll 공정용 장비와 제조 공정을 제안하였다. PTFE 나노섬유를 연속적으로 제작하기 위해 전기방사부와 열처리부를 roll-to-roll 공정에 맞게 장비를 최적화하여 설계하고 제작하였다. 본 장비를 이용하여 대면적 필터 여과체를 제조하고, 제조된 여과체의 표면 형태, 조성, 필터 특성을 확인하였다. 롤 형태의 대면적 여과체 전반에 걸쳐 PTFE 나노섬유가 균일하게 코팅되었고, 본 여과체는 280 ℃에서도 280 ℃에서도 PM2.5 기준 91.79%의 높은 집진효율과 1 m/min 기준 62 Pa의 우수한 압력 손실 특성을 보였다.

칼만필터를 이용한 농용 균평헬리콥터의 살포비행자세 평가 (Evaluation of Spray Flight Attitude for Agricultural Roll-balanced Helicopter using Kalman Filter)

  • Purpose: Aerial spraying with an agricultural unmanned helicopter became a new paradigm in the agricultural practice. Laterally tilting behavior of a conventional agricultural helicopter, resulting in the biased down-wash and uneven spray deposit is a physically intrinsic phenomenon while hovering and cruise flights. Authors studied and developed a roll-balanced agricultural helicopter with a raised pylon tail rotor system. In this study, the attitude of the roll-balanced helicopter was determined using the Kalman filter algorithm, and the quality of roll balancing of a bare-airframe helicopter was evaluated. Methods: Instantaneous attitudes were estimated using the advantage of gyroscope, followed by the long term correction and prediction using accelerometer data for the advantage of convergence. The attitudes of the fuselage were calculated by applying the Kalman filter algorithm. The spraying maneuver of the helicopter was performed at a field of 50 m long, and the attitude data were acquired and evaluated. Results: The determination of attitude using the inertial measurement unit(IMU) and Kalman filter was reliable and practical. The intrinsic attitude of the developed helicopter was stable and roll-balanced. The deviation of roll angle was ${\pm}6.3^{\circ}$ with an average of $0^{\circ}$, referring to roll-balanced. Conclusions: Handling quality of the roll attitude determined to be steadily balanced. The balancing behavior of the developed helicopter would result in an even spray pattern during aerial application.

W-CDMA 기지국용 디지털 수신기의 CIC 롤 오프 보상필터 설계 (Design of Cic roll-off Compensation Filter in Digital Receiver For W-CDMA NODE-B)

  • ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) 와 DSP (Digital Signal Processor) 의 성능이 향상됨에 따라 아날로그 방식으로 처리하던 IF(Intermidiate Frequency) 대역의 신호를 디지털 방식으로 처리할 수 있게 되었다. 이를 디지털 라디오 또는 디지털 IF라 하고 이는 SDR (software definied radio) 의 초기단계라 할 수 있다. 디지털 라디오 개념을 수신단에 적용할 경우 오버샘플링에 의한 처리 이득을 얻을 수 있으며, 다중 캐리어방식의 수신단 설계가 가능하다. 디지털 수신기에서는 연산량 이득을 위해 데시메이션이 이루어지며, CIC (Cascaded Integrated Comb) 및 halfbandHalfband 필터 등이 앨리어싱방지 필터로 사용된다. 그런데, CIC 필터는 필연적으로 통과대역 내에서 롤 오프 현상이 발생하며, 이것은 수신단 필터의 통과대역 평탄도를 악화시켜서 수신성능의 저하를 초래한다. FIR 필터를 이용하여 보상해 주어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 W-CDMA 디지털 수신기의 수신성능에 최적인 CIC 롤오프 보상 필터를 설계방법을 제시하고, 설계된 필터가 CIC필터의 롤오프 특성을 보상하여 BER(Bit Error Rate)을 최소화시킴을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다. 필터 성능을 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents roll angle estimator which used Kalman filter. Recently, the uses of the ELSD (Electronic Limited Slip Differential) and TVD(Torque Vectoring Differential) for vehicle yaw control are studied in many researches. However the roll angle can be negative effect of ELSD and TVD control. Therefore the information of roll angle can be used for vehicle yaw control. Moreover it can be used for rollover prevent control. Recently, most of the vehicles use lateral acceleration and yaw rate sensor. In this paper, design of Kalman filter which used lateral acceleration and yaw rate information is developed. In this paper, in order to verify the estimator ability, the CarSim and Matlab/Simulink are used.

Dual-Transmission-Line Microstrip Equiripple Lowpass Filter with Sharp Roll-Off

  • A novel application of a dual-transmission line is proposed to design a lowpass filter (LPF). The proposed structure uses only transmission line elements to produce an equiripple LPF response with sharp roll-off. Design equations are derived using a lossless transmission line model. Controlling the electrical lengths, three transmission-zeros are realized in the stopband to obtain a sharp roll-off rate and wide stopband bandwidth. A single unit microstrip LPF with a 3-dB cut-off frequency at 1.0 GHz having a roll-off of 135 dB/GHz along with a stopband bandwidth of 69.5% is designed for validation.

FTN 전송기법에서 최적의 필터 roll-off 값 및 탭수 설정 (Optimal Number of Filter Coefficient and Tabs for FTN Transmission Method)

  • 본 논문은 인접 심볼 간의 간섭이 발생하지 않는 최대 데이터 전송률인 Nyquist rate 보다 빠르게 데이터를 전송하여 전송량을 증가시키는 FTN(Faster than Nyquist) 기법을 이용하여 최적의 필터 roll-off 값과 탭 수를 설정한다. FTN 신호 전송 시 발생하는 ISI(Inter-Symbol Interference)를 최소화하기 위해 LDPC부호를 기반으로 하는 터보 등화 모델을 적용하였으며, FTN 신호의 필터 roll-off 값과 탭 수에 따라 시뮬레이션하여 성능을 향상시키고 최적의 값을 설정하였다.

  • In this paper, a roll and pitch estimation algorithm using a set of accelerometers and wireless sensor networks(S/N) is presented for use in a passenger vehicle. While an inertial measurement unit(IMU) is generally used for roll/pitch estimation, performance may be degraded in the presence of longitudinal acceleration and yaw motion. To compensate for this performance degradation, a new roll and pitch estimation algorithm is proposed that uses an accelerometer array, global positioning system(GPS) and in-vehicle networks to get information from yaw rate and roll rate sensors. Angular acceleration and roll and pitch approximation are first calculated based on vehicle kinematics. A discrete Kalman filter is then applied to estimate both roll and pitch more precisely by reducing noise from the running engine and from road disturbance. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed algorithm is shown by comparing its performance experimentally with that of an IMU in the framework of an indoor test platform as well as a test vehicle.

  • In this paper, a horizontal LOS(line of sight) rate estimator for conventional sea skimming ASM(anti-ship missile) is proposed. A LOS rate dynamics model in 2 axis gimbal system and in homing geometry is derived. And a new LOS rate estimator is proposed by applying a Kalman filter theory to the LOS rate dynamics model. The proposed filter can estimate LOS rates with taking roll motions into account. Simulation results show the proposed filter produces smaller estimation errors than a conventional method.

$H{\infty}$제어기법에 의한 연속 냉간 압연시스템의 두께 제어 (Thickness Control of Tandem Cold Mills Using $H{\infty}$Control Techniques)

  • An $H{\infty}$ controller with a roll eccentricity filter is proposed to alleviate the effect of entry thickness variation and roll eccentricity occured in rolling stands themselves of tandem cold mills. A robust controller to the disturbances is designed by H$_{\infty}$ control techniques, which can reflect the input direction of disturbances and the knowledge of disturbance spectrum in the frequency domain. First, fundamental problems in tandem cold mills such as process transport delay inherent in the exit thickness measurement and the feedforward loading of roll eccentricity signals on the exit thickness be overcome by the roll eccentricity filtering and the compensation for the error of gaugemeter thickness estimator. And non-satndard $H{\infty}$ control problem caused by the selection of weighting function having poles on the $J{\omega}$-axis is discussed. The resultant controller composed by an $H{\infty}$ controller and an estimator for the roll eccentricity is evaluated through computer simulations. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is compared to that of the conventional LQ controller method and a feedforward controller for the roll eccentricity, which has been already studied.
