승마용 헬스 케어 로봇 시스템과 신체 상태 지수 관리기술 (Development of Riding Robot System and Body State Index for Healthcare Service)

  • This paper describe the riding robot system named by "RideBot" which is a riding robot like as a horse. In order to simulate the riding motions, we develope the saddle mechanism which can generate 3 DOF motions including pitch, roll, and bounce movement, and also we controlled the riding motions and the intention of horseman. To generate the riding motions with the bodily sensation, we developed Novel Washout Filter and the algorithms for motion control. And also, we developed some health care service for the health care of horseman. A body state index was proposed that evaluates the personal health state from both the measured physiological variables and the surveyed questions. The physiological variables such as weight, blood pressure, heart rate variability (HRV), accelerated state photoplethysmograph(APG), body fat, and happiness index were measured by the specially designed bio-handle system and survey questions. The efficiency of the proposed ride robot is evaluated in the experiments.

  • The strip profile and shape control is one of the most important technologies in Hot Rolling Mill System. Because the unbalance of strip´s shape and wave appearance between stands has a bad effect on Hot Rolling Mill System by making the inferior thickness, strip´s damage and so forth in factories. Many competition Plate Mill introduced shape control system, for example, pair cross-mill, work roll bender, which includes shape measuring instruments and shape control mathematical models. Shape meter, which is equipped for flatness, only does feedback control at the top of coil. And, for crown, we depend on initial setup value and there is no feedback control.   • An analysis of the dynamic behavior between disk and roller has been performed when the torque is transmitted to toroidal IVT (Infinitely Variable Transmission). The contact area, shape and pressure with elliptical shapes between disk and roller are computed as the transmission ratios are changed. This study will give the information of contact shapes between roller-input dist and roller-output disk which are working under the most severe condition. The computed results are expected to guide the design criteria for the enhanced endurance li(e. Furthermore, the investigation of contact behaviors is very crucial to develop the traction oil that the efficiency of IVT system is most dependent on.

  • A flow visualization near submerged nozzle of solid rocket motor was conducted by experiments. A numerical simulation was also performed to reveal detailed phenomena. Radial cold flow simulating hot gas was introduced by a porous grain model which was manufactured by perforated steel plates. The grain model was mounted in high-pressure chamber which has quartz glass at the top of the grain model. From the high-speed images, a rotating vortex was observed and the two type of counter-rotating momentums were generated in numerical results. The rotating momentum was generated at the fin-slot grain because of unbalance between high-velocity flow from slots and low-velocity flow from fin-bases. As a result, roll torques can be produced by the rotating vortex tube.

  • The influence of braking force generated by one tire on vehicle dynamics was investigated by simulation and ground test. A 8 d. o. f vehicle model was developed for simulation. And a special device to apply brake pressure to individual wheel was built for vehicle test. As a result of corner braking test on straight driving, the dynamic responses such as yawrate, lateral acceleration and roll angle were produced in the vehicle, which were in a good agreement to the simulation results. This shows that comer braking used in VDC system can control vehicle dynamics to improve controllability and directional stability.

  • In this paper, the authors benchmark a servo valve model for the fuel supply system of Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) in the KHP helicopter. This valve is directly driven with a torque motor, and the size of small gap controlled by a flapper can make change of flow rate under given pressure drop between inlet and outlet. CFD analyses using a commercial code, ANSYS-CFX 10 are performed for the series of three-dimensional models at various openness conditions. The computational results on simplified models show that CFD can play a fine roll in the design of flow path as well as in the estimation of flow force due to its precision and good repeatability. Consequently, the CFD analysis helps valve designers to understand its flow characteristics from the basis of physical fundamentals.

  • This paper addresses details of wave load nonlinearity effect on stress RAO and damage ratio using component stochastic fatigue analysis. Traditional spectral fatigue analysis for ship structure is based on linear theory; however, there are a number of nonlinearity sources. Especially loading nonlinearity, such as hydrodynamic pressure applying to ship side and gravity changes due to roll and pitch motion, is thought to critically violate the linearity assumption of spectral fatigue analysis, which involves stress RAO as linear parameter. The main focus is placed on how to idealize complicated characteristics of loading nonlinearity and how to implement the nonlinear bias to linear spectral fatigue analysis.

압전폴리머 PVDF를 이용한 복합형 유연 OLED 디스플레이 소자 (Combinational flexible OLED display device using piezoelectric polymer PVDF)

  • 압전폴리머 PVDF(polyvinylidene difluoride)의 기판소재를 기반으로 한 디스플레이 소자를 연구하였다. 압전 폴리머 PVDF의 양면은 두께 300nm정도의 ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)를 TCO(Transparent conducting oxide)로 R2R(roll to roll)증착하였으며, 이를 적외선 계열 Pulsed Laser로 상온 건식 에칭을 통해 패턴해내고, 이후 고진공 환경에서 Alq3 를 기반의 유기발광소자를 제작하였다. 전기적 신호에 대해서 기계적인 작동이 가능한 투명 압전 폴리머 재료를 디스플레이 발광소자의 기판 소재로 사용함으로써, 궁극적으로 발광기능과 더불어 압전효과에 의한 스피커 기능이 한 개의 개체내에서 독립적으로 구현될 수 있도록 설계하고, 기술적으로 실현시켰다는 점이 본 연구의 의의라고 할 수 있다. 이를 위해서, 섭씨 80도 이상의 온도에서 압전 성질을 상실하는 것으로 알려진 PVDF에 대해서 투명산화전극을 레이져를 이용한 비가열식 승화방법을 통해 패턴화하는 것을 사용했으며, 밀리미터 단위에서 수십 마이크로미터 수준까지 패턴화할 수 있었다. 제작된 복합형 유연 OLED소자는 기계적으로 휘어진 상태에서도 발광 성능과 스피커 성능을 각각 독립적으로 보였으며, Alq3에 의한 녹색발광을 보임을 확인하였고, 이 경우 양자효율은 약 3%이하의 값을 보였다. 또한 각주파수별 음압(SPL: Sound Pressure Level)측정 결과는 압번폴리머가 가청주파수 영역에서 작동함을 보였으며, 고주파영역에서의 SPL값이 증가하는 전형적인 PVDF사용 필름 스피커의 특성을 보였다. 이로부터 제작된 복합형 소자는 본 연구에서 제안된 목적에서 보인 것과 같이, 두 개의 기능이 서로간의 간섭없이 독립적으로 한 개의 개체 내에서 작동함을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과로부터 새로운 유연 전자 소자에 대한 디자인 개념을 제시하고, 기타 다른 기능이 접합된 형태의 신개념 전자 소자를 제안하는 것도 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

분말직송압연 티타늄의 치밀화 거동 (Densification Behavior of Titanium in Direct Powder Rolling Process)

  • 분말직송압연에 따른 티타늄 분말 집합체의 치밀화 거동을 연구하였다. 이와 관련하여 실험 시 나타나는 롤-밀림 현상을 분석하기 위한 이론적 모델을 개발하였으며, 이를 통해 보다 실질적인 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 개발된 롤-밀림 모델을 통해 공정변수에 따른 롤-밀림의 경향을 정량적으로 파악하였으며, 분말직송압연 공정의 유한요소 해석을 통해 판재의 위치 별 최종 상대 밀도를 비교적 정확히 예측할 수 있었다. 아울러 공정 시 분말집합체의 치밀화 현상을 이해하기 위해 분말-롤 간 접촉 압력 및 전단응력을 계산하였으며 이를 통해 분말의 물림현상이 나타나는 영역을 보다 명확히 확인할 수 있었다.

특발성 종격동섬유화에 의한 상공정맥증후군일예 (Superior Vena Caval Syndrome -Report of A Case-)

  • This is a report of a case of superior vena caval syndrome due to idiopathic mediastinal fibrosis, which was surgically treated. The patient was 35-year-old Korean male who progressively complained shortness of breath about for 40 days prior to operation. Phlebogram of SVC showed indentation of SVC at the site of cavoatrial junction. The operation was performed under impression of bronchogenic cancer of right hilum. After thoracotomy, it was found a irregular mass in the mediastinum at the level of cavoatrial junction, which was developed to surrounding with SVC, pericardium, trachea and bronchus and they fixed together to immobile. Bypass graft between SVC and right atrial appendage was performed using a pericardial roll tube This is a report of a case of superior vena caval syndrome due to idiopathic mediastinal fibrosis, which was surgically treated. SVC pressure was markedly reduced from 32 cm $H_2O$ in preoperative to 21 cm $H_2O$in postoperative. Mediastinal fibrosis was confirmed by histopathological examination postoperatively. The postoperative course was uneventful.
