In this paper, we describe a concept-based question-answering system in which concept rather than keyword itself makes an important role on both question analysis and answer extraction. Our idea is that concepts occurred in same type of questions are similar, and if a question is analyzed according to those concepts then we can extract more accurate answer because we know the semantic role of each word or phrase in question. Concept frame is defined for each type of question, and it is composed of important concepts in that question type. Currently the number of question type is 79 including 34 types for person, 14 types for location, and so on. We experiment this concept-based approach about questions which require person s name as their answer. Experimental results show that our system has high accuracy in answer extraction. Also, this concept-based approach can be used in combination with conventional approaches.

We examined play interactions between siblings when one child has autism in a Vietnamese American and a European American family. Analysis was based on video recorded free play sessions with each set of siblings at their home. Interviews with the typically developing sibling and parents also provided supplemental data to aid our knowledge about their play behavior. This study describes the role of the typically developing sibling in play and the types of play engaged in by siblings. Findings indicate that the two sets of siblings differed in their play behavior. Specifically, significant differences were noted in the role of the typically developing sibling in play, and the types of play engaged in by the siblings. The perceptions of the typically developing siblings and parents regarding autism also differed across families, significantly affecting their play behavior. Implications for research are described.

Previous studies on the relationship between stress and performance have shown inconsistent results. Thus, this study focused on the effect of challenging stress among the two types of stress types and investigated the nonlinear relationship between the challenging stress and the performance. In particular, performance was divided into job performance, which is related to in-role behavior, and organizational citizenship behavior, which is characterized as extra-role behavior. Empirical results using 222 samples of Chinese workers have showed that challenging stress had a nonlinear relationship with job performance and organizational citizenship behavior. However, it was found that the shape of nonlinear relationship of the challenging stress on job performance and organizational citizenship behavior was slightly different. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of this paper and future research directions are discussed.

As the largest organ in our body, the skin acts as a barrier against external stress and damages. There are various cell types of skin, such as keratinocytes, melanocytes, fibroblasts, and skin stem cells. Korean ginseng, which is one of the biggest distributions of ginseng worldwide, is processed into different products, such as functional food, cosmetics, and medical supplies. This review aims to introduce the functional role of Korean ginseng on different dermal cell types, including the impact of Korean ginseng in anti-photodamaging, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, anti-melanogenic, and wound healing activities, etc. We propose that this information could form the basis of future research of ginseng-derived components in skin health.

The aim of the article is to study the role of informal institutions in the development of the financial services market. The study outlines the concepts of scholars to identify the main types of informal institutions. The mechanism of research of influence of the informal factor on functioning of economic object is developed. The main types of informal institutions are systematized. The main informal institutions influencing the development of the financial services market are considered. The application of a synergetic approach to the consideration of the impact of the institution of trust on the financial services market is proposed.

The ultimate role of ocular movements is to keep the image of an object within the fovea and thereby prevent image slippage on the retina. Accurate evaluations of eye movements provide very useful information for understanding the functions of the oculomotor system and determining abnormalities therein. Such evaluations also play an important role in enabling accurate diagnoses by identifying the location of lesions and discriminating from other diseases. There are various types of ocular movements, and this article focuses on saccades, fast eye movements, smooth pursuit, and slow eye movements, which are the most important types of eye movements used in evaluations performed in clinical practice.

Whole-genome doubling (WGD), characterized by the duplication of an entire set of chromosomes, is commonly observed in various tumors, occurring in approximately 30-40% of patients with different cancer types. The effect of WGD on tumorigenesis varies depending on the context, either promoting or suppressing tumor progression. Recent advances in genomic technologies and large-scale clinical investigations have led to the identification of the complex patterns of genomic alterations underlying WGD and their functional consequences on tumorigenesis progression and prognosis. Our comprehensive review aims to summarize the causes and effects of WGD on tumorigenesis, highlighting its dualistic influence on cancer cells. We then introduce recent findings on WGD-associated molecular signatures and genetic aberrations and a novel subtype related to WGD. Finally, we discuss the clinical implications of WGD in cancer subtype classification and future therapeutic interventions. Overall, a comprehensive understanding of WGD in cancer biology is crucial to unraveling its complex role in tumorigenesis and identifying novel therapeutic strategies.

This research has classified waiting times into the three different ones according to service offering process and investigated the antecedents and consequences of types of waiting times. A service provider's concern and customer involvement were modeled as antecedent variables and negative emotion and service value as dependent variables. The empirical results of the study are as follows. A service provider's concern had significant influences on all the three types of waiting times whereas customer involvement was found to affect preprocess-waiting and postprocess-waiting times. Preprocess-waiting time had a significant impact on both negative emotion and service value and inprocess-waiting time only affects negative emotion. However, postprocess-waiting time had influenced none of the variables. The findings illustrate an important role of concern and involvement regarding to a customer's perceived waiting time and relative importance of waiting types on negative emotion and service value. A summary of the results are reported and managerial implications are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to explore how family types clustered based on the intra system dynamics explained housewive's managerial behavior. The data were collected by means of questionnaire distributed to a stratified sample of 544 housewives in Seoul who lived with husband and children. The questionnaires included FACES Ⅱ and Ⅲ, Communication Scale, Managerial behavior Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale. Frequency, percentile, mean, correlation, factor analysis, cluster analysis, One-way ANOVA with Scheffe test, and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. This study had resulted in three major findings. The first was that families were clustered by four types, named structed-separated family, flexible-connected family, change oriented emashed, and rigid-disengaed family. The second finding was that a difference in managerial behavior was found among four types of family. Housewives whose family were more connected each other and adapted more easily to changing situations showed better managerial behavior. The last one was that the managerial behavior of housewives was better explained by family types than socio-demographic variables. The recommendations for future research and the better ways to lead effective managerial behavior were suggested.

Recently, most tech-based products are of multiple generations, since new-generation products are replacing the older ones as technologies continue to improve. Although, this means that research is needed to examine as much about the role of post-adoption behavior as the missing link between the adoptions of successive generation as first adoption of innovation, there is a dearth of literature explicitly examining consumers' post-adoption behavior, especially in the context of subscription-based service. For the subscription-based services, in spite of the important role of consumer satisfaction, research on the post-adoption behavior can not carefully examine the direct impact of consumer satisfaction on their decision to upgrade by considering usage instead of satisfaction as the missing link between buyers' first adoption and their next-generation adoption. This study identified two types of attribute satisfaction such as basic attribute and core attribute using both literature review and FGI (Focus Group Interview), and tries to investigate how two types of attribute satisfaction has influence on customers' intention to upgrade to the next-generation services. and a moderating role of customer loyalty between attribute satisfaction and intention. The empirical results show that core-attribute satisfaction has a negative influence on customers' intention to upgrade, due to the moderating role of customer loyalty, but it can raise their intention to upgrade next-generation services. However, basic-attribute satisfaction, on the other hand, appears to positively influence both customer loyalty and the intention to upgrade. We also find that the consumer attribute satisfaction is influenced by consumer innovativeness, her perception of service and the usage of each features' type in different ways. Finally, academic and practical implication is made, limitation is clarified and a direction for further studies is suggested.
