차량상충 자동판단프로그램 개발 (A Development of a Automatic Detection Program for Traffic Conflicts)

  • 근본적인 교차로에서의 안전도 향상을 위해서는 사고발생 이전에 나타나는 사고의 개연성에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 교통사고는 교통상충상황의 연장선에서 발생하는 것으로써, 적은 시간과 한정된 공간에서 조사가 용이하고 자료취득이 수월하며 적은 비용으로 연구를 수행할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 따라서 교통상충기법은 그 활용도가 높으며, 많은 필요성이 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 신호교차로 영상을 입력받아서 교통상충을 자동으로 분석하고 처리할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 프로그램은 CCTV카메라에서 입력되는 영상입력부, 입력된 영상을 배경영상, 현재영상, 차영상(difference image), 이동차량 분할(segmentation)영상을 저장하는 영상저장부, 저장된 영상을 상충알고리즘에 의해 상충판단을 하는 영상처리부, 그 처리된 결과는 디스플레이 해주는 영상출력부로 구분하여 처리한다. 프로그램 개발은 그래픽 언어인 LabVIEW 8.5버전과 VISION모듈 라이브러리를 이용하여 개발하였다.

객체기반 도로모델을 이용한 고해상도 위성영상에서의 도로 추출 (Road Extraction from High Resolution Satellite Image Using Object-based Road Model)

  • 도시 정보시스템 및 위치기반 서비스와 같은 공간정보 분야의 빠른 성장으로 인해 도심지 도로정보 취득 및 갱신에 대한 중요성이 날로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고해상도 위성영상으로부터 도로 정보를 추출하기 위하여 최근 화소기반분석의 대안으로 주목을 받고 있는 객체기반 접근법을 이용한 자동 도로추출 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 우선 MSRG(Modified Seeded Region Growing)기법을 이용하여 공간객체를 생성한 후, 객체의 형상 특정정보와 인접성을 기반으로 핵심 도로 객체를 자동으로 추출하였다. 또한 추출된 핵심도로 객체와 인접한 객체들과의 공간적 상관성을 이용하여 일부 누락된 도로객체를 추적하였다. 최종적으로 도로의 기하학적인 특성을 이용한 단절된 도로 구간 연결 및 도로 변형 개선 과정을 통하여 최종도로영역을 추출하였다. 제안 기법의 성능 검증을 위한 정량적 평가 결과, 도로영역에 대해 높은 탐지정확도를 보임을 확인하였다. 결과적으로 제안된 방법은 고해상도 위성영상의 도로추출에 유용하게 적용될 수 있으리라 판단된다.

RADARSAT SAR 영상을 이용한 농촌 소하천주변의 침수피해지역 추정연구 (A Study on the Extraction of Flood Inundated Scar of Rural Small Stream Using RADARSAT SAR Images)

  • To trace the flood inundation area around rural small stream, RADARSAT image was applied because it has the ability of acquiring data during storm period irrespective of rain and cloud. For the storm of 9 August, 1998 in Anseong-cheon watershed, three temporal RADARSAT images before, just after and after the storm were used. After ortho-rectification using 5 m DEM, two methods of RGB composition and ratio were tried and found the inundated area in the tributary stream, Seonghwan-cheon and Hakseong-cheon. The inundated area had occurred at the joint area of two streams, thus the floodwater overflowed bounding discharge capacity of the stream. The progression of damage areas were stopped by the local road and farm road along the paddy.

호모그래피행렬을 이용한 노면검출 (Ground Plane Detection Using Homography Matrix)

  • This paper presents a robust method for ground plane detection in vision-based applications based on a monocular sequence of images with a non-stationary camera. The proposed method, which is based on the reliable estimation of the homography between two frames taken from the sequence, aims at designing a practical system to detect road surface from traffic scenes. The homography is computed using a feature matching approach, which often gives rise to inaccurate matches or undesirable matches from out of the ground plane. Hence, the proposed homography estimation minimizes the effects from erroneous feature matching by the evaluation of the difference between the predicted and the observed matrices. The method is successfully demonstrated for the detection of road surface performed on experiments to fill an information void area taken place from geometric transformation applied to captured images by an in-vehicle camera system.

  • 본 연구에서는 건물 및 도로 등 각종 시설물에서 상세정보가 누락되거나 수정 및 갱신이 이루어지지 않아 수치지도의 체계적인 구축이 요구되는 지역에 적용할 수 있도록 지상사진영상에 도해법을 적용하여 대상지역의 현황도를 작성하고, 대상지역 시설물에 대한 공간정보와 속성정보를 빠른 시간에 효율적으로 취득할 수 있는 기법을 제시하였다.

  • Spatially referenced mobile mapping (MM) images contain rich information of man-made objects , e.g. road centerlines, buildings, light poles, traffic signs ,billboards and line trees etc. Therefore, the applications in transportation, urban 3D reconstruction, utility management are implemented increasingly. It’s a fundamental issue lies in MM image process that how to orient this image in the object space including interior orientation of camera and the exterior orientation of image. In this paper, the algorithm of automatic acquirement of DC (Digital Camera) parameters based on MM images is illustrated. And then, the mapping between image space and object space for MM images is described.

  • This paper proposes an image processing algorithm for detecting obstacles on road-lane using DLI(disparity of lane-related information) that is generated by stereo images acquired from dual cameras mounted on a moving vehicle. The DLI is a disparity that is acquired using single lane information from road lane detection. For the purpose to reduce processing time, we use small blocks obtained by edge-histogram based blocking logic. This algorithm detects moving objects such as preceding vehicles and obstacles. The proposed algorithm has been implemented in a personal computer with the road image data of a typical highway. We successfully performed experiments under a wide variety of road conditions without changing parameter values or adding human intervention. Experimental results also showed that the proposed DLI is quite successful.

  • A 3D depth measurement system is proposed for mobile vehicles. Depth measurement system which is composed of a rotating mirror, a line laser and mono-camera is employed to detect depth, where the laser light is reflected by the mirror and projected to- the scene objects whose locations are to be determined. The obtained depth information is converted into an image. Such depth images of the road region represent even and plane while that of off-road region is irregular or textured. Road region is detected employing a simple spatial differentiation technique to detect the plain textured area. Identification results of the diverse situation of Non-linear trail are included in this paper.

영상 및 레이저 계측기를 통한 경사면 상황인식 시스템 (Recognition System of Slope Condition Using Image and Laser Measuring Instrument)

  • Natural disasters such as a ground collapse and a landslide have broken out due to the climate change of the Korea and the reckless expansion of cities and roads. The climate changes and the reckless urbanization have made the ground weak. Thus, it is important to keep a close eye on the highly weakened landslide and to prevent its natural disasters. In order to prevent these disasters, this paper presents a system of recognizing the road slide condition by measuring the displacements using laser scanner instrument. The previous system of monitoring the road slide has some problems as inaccurate recognition due to using only images from a camera, or expensive system such as artificial satellites and aircraft systems. To solve this problem, our proposed system uses the 3D range data from the laser scanner for measuring the accurate displacement of the road slide and optical flows from the Lucas-Kanade algorithm for recognizing the road slide in the image.
