도로환경에 따른 최적의 방음벽 높이 산정식 연구 (Development of an Optical Height Formula for Noise Barrier Considering the Road Environment)

  • PURPOSES : A study on the efforts to minimize the road traffic noise has been underway. An attempt has been made to measure the noise level using a noise map; however, the attempt is limited to certain areas only. In general, a noise barrier is employed to prevent road traffic noise; however, unplanned noise barriers developed without considering the surrounding environment, including excessively high walls, cause problems such as infringement on prospect right. Noise ceiling at daytime in Korea is 68 dB(A), which is relatively higher than in other countries. METHODS: The noise barrier used mainly for road noise reduction was analyzed to estimate the optimal height. Related variables such as road width, the height of the upper part, distance to the building, and angle (for instance, $30^{\circ}$). RESULTS : A formula to calculate the optical height of the noise barrier, considering the road environment (i.e., parameters such as road width and distance to building), was developed in this study in an attempt to mitigate the noise generated from the road. CONCLUSIONS : The formula to calculate the noise barrier is expected to lead to cost saving, accurate installation of barriers, and protection of the right of prospect.

도로 환경에서 자율주행을 위한 독립 관찰자 기반 주행 상황 인지 방법 (Independent Object based Situation Awareness for Autonomous Driving in On-Road Environment)

  • This paper proposes a situation awareness method based on data fusion and independent objects for autonomous driving in on-road environment. The proposed method, designed to achieve an accurate analysis of driving situations in on-road environment, executes preprocessing tasks that include coordinate transformations, data filtering, and data fusion and independent object based situation assessment to evaluate the collision risks of driving situations and calculate a desired velocity. The method was implemented in an open-source robot operating system called ROS and tested on a closed road with other vehicles. It performed successfully in several scenarios similar to a real road environment.

대구의 여름철 도로 열 환경과 클린로드 시스템의 효과 조사를 위한 관측연구 (Observational Study to Investigate Thermal Environment and Effect of Clean- Road System over a Broad Way of Daegu in Summer)

  • To investigate thermal environment and effect of clean-road system over a broad way, we conducted the filed meteorological observation during 12~13 August 2014. The clean-road system was employed over a part of the broad way of Dalgubul(Dalgubul-Daero) by Daegu Metropolitan city in 2011. The clean-road system in general is operated two times(4 am, 2 pm) during summertime. In case of scorching alert, the system is operated 3 times a day(4 am, 2 pm and 4 pm). To evaluate the present thermal condition and the improvement effects due to the system, we analyzed the time variation of discomfort index and WBGT(wet-bulb and globe temperature). WBGT was more than 25 during 8 a.m. ~ 9 p.m. And discomfort index was more than 75 during 8 a.m. ~ 11 p.m. The thermal improvement effect of the clean-road system was restrictive during daytime.

보행자 전용도로의 이용자 경관만족 요인분석 -분당 신도시를 중심으로- (The Analysis of User's Degree on Landscape Satisfaction Factors for Pedestrian Road -Case Study of Bun-Dang New Town-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road in Bun-dang new town and to suggest basic information for urban pedestrian road design. These works consist of two phase. First, we tested the Hye-Cheon college students' degree of landscape satisfaction for 37 spots of urban pedestrian road and then selected 10 sports slide by the Sturges' formula. Second, we analysed factors and variables on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road using the semantic differential scale method and then processed using descriptive analysis, factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) The difference of landscape adjectives between the highest score of landscape satisfaction slide and the lowest score landscape satisfaction slide were diversity of vegetation, plenty of the shade of a tree, naturalness and cleanness. 2) Diversity of vegetation, width of road, freedom of danger and diversity of environment can be significant variables of major effects on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road by using the multiple linear regression analysis. 3) Factors covering the landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road have been found to be Environment of urban pedestrian road and Constitution of urban pedestrian road. By using the Varimaxs' rotation factor analysis for the number of factors' cumulative percentage has been obtained as 64%. 4) Environment of urban pedestrian road and Constitution of urban pedestrian road can be significant factors of major effects on landscape satisfaction of urban pedestrian road by using the multiple linear regression analysis. In conclusion, the landscape satisfaction factors and variables of urban pedestrian road need to be considered in plan or design the urban pedestrian road.

도시고가도로 입지구간 가로환경 설계 -능동로 '걷고싶은 거리'의 구간을 대상으로- (Designing the Space under the Urban Elevated Road -A Case Study for Nengdong-Ro Street-)

  • Although the urban elevated road is welcomed in modern society to deal with urban traffic problems, its negative influence on both the pedestrian environment and urban landscape has been frequently observed. Furthermore, the space under elevated structures has been ignored, being the lost space. Recently, several efforts have been devoted into bringing back the lostspace. However, any specific design guidelines shown in the street design of Japan and Singapore have not been suggested in Korea, yet. This study proposes a case of the Nengdong-Ro street design where the two-story urban elevated road is being constructed and negative effects of the elevated road are largely expected. One of the purposes of Nengdong-Ro street design proposed in this study is to relieve the negative effect os the two-story elevated road, and to provide a better pedestrian environment in Nengdong-Ro. The other purpose is to suggest general guidelines that can be applied to the similar context as Nengdong-Ro. It is considered that the space under the elevated road generally consist of three sections: 1) main section where the elevated road runs parallel with the ground, 2) landing section where elevated road goes down to the ground, and 3) facility section where facilities such as the platform and the ticketing booth are located. The design guidelines are suggested for each section, because each section has a different situation. Plans, section and elevations and the details of the street furniture are also incorporated to support the design guidelines.

도로교통소음 현황과 예측 (Road Traffic Noise Status and Prediction)

  • The road traffic noise becomes aggravated due to the rapid increase of vehicles. It has a great effect on the dwelling environment. Therefore we investigate the characteristics and sources of the road traffic noise through grasping the status of the road traffic noise. This paper is concerned with the description of the various factors affecting the generation and propagation of outdoor traffic noise. It is particularly concerned with the mathematical interpretation of these processes and the resulting development of prediction techniques which are now broadly used for both the environment impact assessment of road traffic noise and the planning and design of roads and adjoining land use.

도로시설물 모니터링을 위한 도로영상 내 위치정보 은닉 (A Position Information Hiding in Road Image for Road Furniture Monitoring)

  • 운전자에게 차량의 현재 위치 및 도로 주변 상황 인지는 안전하고 쾌적한 운전 환경 조성을 위해 반드시 필요한 정보들이다. 본 논문에서는 도로시설물 및 도로표지 등의 도로정보를 모니터링 하고 시각적으로 알리기 위해 도로주행영상 내 좌표정보 결합 및 시점변환 기법을 이용한 도로주행환경 자동인식 기술을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 차량 내 탑재된 카메라와 GPS를 이용하여 공간정보가 반영된 도로주행영상을 생성한 후, 생성 영상의 시점 변환 및 정합, 도로정보 검출을 수행하여 사용자에게 도로정보를 시각적으로 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 제안한 방법을 도로 주행 영상에서 실험한 결과, 도로주행영상 내 GPS 좌표정보의 결합 시간은 66.5ms, 교통 표지판 검출율은 95.83%, 프레임당 표지판 검출 처리 시간은 평균 227.45ms 이었다. 따라서 15프레임/초 이하의 입력 동영상에 대하여 효과적으로 도로주행환경을 자동으로 인식하는 것이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • The concerned object of the construction industry is environment. It is one of the main purposes of today's construction that human can live reasonably in nature. This study is about the fish-road connecting hydraulic structure in the river with nature. Chapter 2, starting with the general investigation about fish-road and helps comprehension for relatively general fish-road such as necessity, establishment purpose, history, study example, relating domestic law, design condition, consideration and form of fish-road. Chapter 3, containing the present condition of fish-road facilities in Gangwon-Do and thoughts of the problems and general countermeasures of existing fish-road. Chapter 4, Having Examined compatibility by amount of flowing water through hydraulic model test in the Ice harbor I-type model. chapter 5, Analyzation and arrangement to efficient establishment plan of fish-road and the result of the hydraulic model experiment to be beaconed a little in forward fish-road study. In the hydraulic model test result, when we suppose establishment of 1~3 in slope of 1/20, could know that applicable drought flow of the river is $0.06{\sim}3.0m^3/sec$ in case of Ice harbor I-type which transforming Ice harbor that was invented as studying project of the Ministry of Environment.

SWMM 모형을 활용한 도로 형태별 초기세척비율 산정 (The Estimating MFFn by SWMM in The Transportation Area)

  • The MFFn(Mass First Flush) was analyzed for various rainy events(monitoring data from 2008 to 2009) in Transportation area(Highway, National road, Trunk road). Estimated MFFn using SWMM was evaluated by comparison with observed MFFn. MFFn was estimated by varying n-value from 10% to 90% on the rainy events. The n-value increases, MFFn is closed to '1'. As time passed, the rainfall runoff was getting similar to ratio of pollutants accumulation. The result of a measure of the strength of the linear relationship between observed data and expected data under model was good ($R^2$=0.89). Pollutants runoff loads by volume showed Highway 26.6%, National road 44.8%, Trunk road 35.0% at the MFF20(20% by total runoff). A case of MFF30, pollutants runoff loads by volume showed Highway 40.2%, National road 54.3%, Trunk road 46.8%. According to the results, Initial precipitation basis were Highway MFF30, National road MFF20, Trunk road MFF30 when the Non-Point source control facilities set up.
