블랙박스 기법을 이용한 교통사고 분석 (Traffic Accident Analysis using Blackbox Technique)

  • 교통사고를 재현하기 위해서는, 블랙박스를 이용해서 교통사고 전의 30초 데이터를 자동으로 저장해야 된다. 블랙박스 장치는 충돌 교통사고를 자동으로 검출할 수 있고, 사고전후에 미리 정의한 기한동안에 차량동의 그리고 운전사 기동을 기록할 수 있다. 그러나 뺑소니운전자를 붙잡는 것은 쉽지 않다. 왜냐하면, 2시간 또는 3 시간 후에는, 범인이 증거를 제거할 수 있다. 그러므로, 교통사고 현장에서 뺑소니 운전자를 검거하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 조적 질문 언어 서버와 한 부속 데이타베이스를 이용한 알고리즘을 개발하였다.

다구찌 직교배열법을 이용한 포뮬러 레이스카 전륜 업라이트의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of the Front Upright of Formula Race Car Using Taguchi's Orthogonal Array)

  • Formula race car is generally recognized as a vehicle which is optimally designed for on-road race track with the regulations of race host bodies. Especially, the uprights of suspension system decisively have effects on the performance of cornering and stability of race car's driving performance, which are very important factors in the design of race car. This paper is a study of optimal upright design of F1800 grade formula race car which are normally used in professional race circuit in Korea. To design optimally the front upright of F1800 formula race car, Taguchi's orthogonal array, which is known for more useful method than full factorial design experimental method in cost and time, is used with CAE method such as FEM analysis. And the result of this paper shows that Taguchi's orthogonal array employed for this optimal design is very useful for designing the front upright of race car by minimizing its weight as well as keeping its safety factor as enough as designer wants in the view of quality, cost and delivery at the early design step.

EFFECT OF RESIDUAL STRESS BY SHOT PEENING ON FATIGUE STRENGTH OF LCV LEAF SPRING

  • Spring is one of major suspension part of the light commercial vehicle (LCV). In the manufacturing process it is shot-peened to improve its fatigue strength. In this paper, residual stresses by shot peening were calculated through finite element analysis, and the effects of these residual stresses on fatigue strength of leaf spring were evaluated. Fatigue tests were performed with two kinds of specimens; one is actual leaf spring assembly, and the other is simulated 3-point bending specimen. Fatigue tests were performed under the loading condition that was measured on the proving ground. From the results, the maximum load-fatigue life relation of leaf spring was defined, and test results of 3 point bending specimen are in good agreement with those of leaf spring assembly. The effects of residual stresses by shot peening on fatigue strength of leaf spring is not large in the high load range, however, in the low load range, its effects were not negligible.

CA모형을 이용한 미시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Traffic Flow Micro-simulation System Using Cellular Automata)

  • 본 연구에서는 대규모 네트워크에 적용 가능한 미시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 대규모 가로망에 대한 미시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템개발의 첫 번째 단계로, 연속류 구간을 중심으로 우리나라의 가로망 구조, 차량 주행행태에 적합한 미시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 모형개발에 초점을 두었다. 차량 전이 모형으로는 Cellular Automata 모형(CA모형)을 기반으로 하였으며, 기존의 CA모형 중 교통공학적 측면에서 문제가 있다고 판단되는 부분에 대해서는 새로운 모형을 개발하거나 수정하여 적용하였다. 개발된 모형의 모의실험을 통해 기존의 거시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 모형에서 설명할 수 없었던 여러 교통현상(합류, 차로축소, 분류등으로 유발되는 교통현상)을 설명할 수 있는 것으로 확인되었고, 또한 본 모형은 우리나라의 가로망구조에 기반을 두고 개발되었기 때문에 기존에 외국에서 개발된 미시적 시뮬레이션 모형이 표현하지 못했던 가로망에 대한 교통류 시뮬레이션이 가능한 것으로 나타났다.

계층화 모션 추정법과 병렬처리를 이용한 차량 움직임 측정 알고리즘 개발 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Algorithms for the Motion Detection of Vehicles using Hierarchical Motion Estimation and Parallel Processing)

  • 본 논문에서는 계층화 모션 추정법과 병렬 처리를 이용한 차량의 움직임 측정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 시스템에서는 CMOS 센서를 통하여 도로 영상을 캡쳐한다. 그 다음에 영상을 작은 블록들로 나누고 블록매칭을 이용하여 각 블록의 움직임을 계산한다. 그리고 움직임이 비슷한 블록들을 클러스터링하여 차량의 움직임을 측정한다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 동작을 위하여 계층화 모션 추정법과 병렬 처리에 의거한 블록매칭 알고리즘을 제안한다. 병렬처리를 위해서는 파이프라인과 데이터 플로우 기법을 도입하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 시스템은 기존의 내장형 시스템을 이용하여 구현되었다. 제안된 블록매칭 알고리즘은 PLD(Programmable Logic Device)를 이용하여 구현하였고 클러스터링 알고리즘은 ARM 프로세서를 이용하여 구현하였다. 실험 결과에 의하면 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템은 차량의 움직임을 실시간으로 추출할 수 있었다.

  • 최근, 서울시는 기존 서부간선도로의 극심한 교통정체 문제 해결을 위하여 연장 10.91 km에 달하는 새로운 소형차 전용 지하도로를 계획하였으며, 국내최초로 복층터널 형식을 적용하였다. 새로 건설될 서부간선 지하도로가 밀집한 도심지의 대심도 지하공간에 계획되므로, 인명피해 최소화를 위한 환기 및 방재계획이 중요한 문제로 대두되었으며, 본 고에서는 도심지 대심도 초장대 터널내 설비 및 안전시설에 관한 주요계획을 소개하고자 한다.

국내 로터리의 회전교차로 전환에 따른 통행비용 분석 (Analysis of Travel Cost According to Transferring from Rotary to Roundabout in Korea)

  • PURPOSES : The goal of this study is to analyze the travel cost according to transferring from rotary to roundabout in Korea. METHODS : This study gives particular attentions to investigating the existing 48 rotaries in Korea and building the networks of before and after improvements using VISSIM, and analyzing their travel costs. RESULTS : The main results are as follows. First, from the field survey, the domestic rotaries were analyzed to need many improvements of geometric structure for the effective operation. Second, the difference of travel cost at 3-legged rotaries were evaluated to be less than other types of rotaries due to low traffic volume. Finally, the travel cost of 4-legged and multi-legged rotaries were analyzed to rapidly increase by increasing volume. CONCLUSIONS : This study analyzes the effects using both real and simulation data unlike the existing studies. Also, this study suggests the future research topics which compare and evaluate the relations between real data and simulation outputs.

  • PURPOSES : This paper evaluates, using LS/DYNA-3D software, the vehicle impact performance of flexible barriers made of steel W-Beam supported by four different types of post configurations. These types include circular post, H-shape post, C-shape post, and square post. METHODS : The post-soil interaction has been investigated according to different impact angles. For this purpose, energy absorption, maximum displacements of post and rail, and occupant risk index of THIV have been compared each other. The three dimensional soil material model, instead of the conventional spring model based on Winkler and p-y curve, has been used to increase the correctness of computational model. RESULTS : It is noted the crash energy absorption has been increased with respect to the increase of impact angle. CONCLUSIONS : In particular, a post with open section(H-shape, C-shape) shows the greater crash energy absorption capability as compared with a post with closed section under the same level of impact conditions.

딥러닝을 이용한 다변량, 비선형, 과분산 모델링의 개선: 자동차 연료소모량 예측 (Improvement of Multivariable, Nonlinear, and Overdispersion Modeling with Deep Learning: A Case Study on Prediction of Vehicle Fuel Consumption Rate)

  • PURPOSES : This study aims to improve complex modeling of multivariable, nonlinear, and overdispersion data with an artificial neural network that has been a problem in the civil and transport sectors. METHODS: Deep learning, which is a technique employing artificial neural networks, was applied for developing a large bus fuel consumption model as a case study. Estimation characteristics and accuracy were compared with the results of conventional multiple regression modeling. RESULTS : The deep learning model remarkably improved estimation accuracy of regression modeling, from R-sq. 18.76% to 72.22%. In addition, it was very flexible in reflecting large variance and complex relationships between dependent and independent variables. CONCLUSIONS : Deep learning could be a new alternative that solves general problems inherent in conventional statistical methods and it is highly promising in planning and optimizing issues in the civil and transport sectors. Extended applications to other fields, such as pavement management, structure safety, operation of intelligent transport systems, and traffic noise estimation are highly recommended.

워커빌리티를 위한 가로변 전면공간의 환경색채 전략 (A Strategy of the Environmental Color of the Frontage Zone of Sidewalk for the Walkability)

  • After the "Landscaping Law" was enacted in 2007 Korea, national and local governments has been responding swiftly by seeking various methods. Seoul Metropolitan City and other municipalities have established "Seoul Coloring and Systematization" project, which analyzes and extracts the humanities, humanities and natural environments in 2007 as an opportunity to recognize the importance of environmental color. However, it is necessary to slightly supplement the color scheme created by the observer's concept. In this way, you have to find the color of the environment in a city where real life takes place. The city's environmental color has the concept of "walking" as the basic human behavior. Because the average speed is 4km, it differs from that of a vehicle that travels more than 60km per hour. Also, most of the frontage zone is used except for special cases. Therefore the characteristics of the environmental color and frontage zone on the road side were concluded in this paper as Single Type, Connection Type, and Extension Type. In addition, the principle of environmental color of city was established by the change of texture according to space of time and the characteristics of urban scale, and new media characteristics were found in various interactions. The results of this study suggest an environmental coloring strategy for workability such as hue continuity, hue harmonization and integrated design.
