Road transport occupies the largest share in domestic and international transport. It is of key importance for the development of the economy, forasmuch as it provides the livelihood of the population, the development of the national economy, the possibility of establishing foreign economic relations. The purpose of the research is as follows: analysis of the current state of functioning of the road transport sector in Eastern Europe and identification of key problems and trends in its development. Research methods: Methods of grouping, comparison and generalization, correlation analisys have been used to identify the dynamics of the main indicators of road transport in Eastern Europe. The method of correlation-regression analysis has been applied to determine the impact of increasing the length of roads on the turnover of the road freight transport and the number of employed population in this area. Results. It has been found that the increase in the employed population by 96% and increase in revenues from transportation and storage of goods, postal and courier services (turnover of the road freight transport - in the original language) in the field of road transport by 82% is explained by the change in transport infrastructure capacity by increasing length of highways. According to the correlation analysis, it has been revealed that there is a high direct dependence between the length of roads and increased revenues from transportation and storage of goods in the field of road transport, as well as between the length of roads and increasing employment in this area.

Generally, the tons lifted and ton-kilometers are widely used to analyze the road freight transport. However, these two indicators are simply to show the road freight transport statistics rather than to explain the road freight transportation systems. In this study, the variables such as the number of distribution channel levels, the integral distance, tons in transport and the average transport distance are defined and estimated to investigate the road freight transport system of Korea. In order to compare the road transport system of Korea to other countries, the comparative study was conducted including USA, Japan, Holland and Taiwan. The major findings of this study are as follows; i) The number of distribution channel levels and integral distance of Korea and Taiwan have been increased, but the average transport distance decreased from 1971 to 1996 period. ii) On the contrary to Korea case, the number of distribution channel levels and integral distance of US, Japan and Holland have been decreased, but the average transport distance increased. iii) In the time-series model analysis shows that the number of distribution channel levels are statistically positively closely related to the logistics costs and the costs of transportation as a percentage of GDP.

본 연구의 목적은 통합도로교통 서비스 체계 구현을 위한 교통정보센터를 구축하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 기존의 교통정보센터 기능과 운영현황을 분석하고, 통합도로교통정보 서비스를 제공하는 교통정보센터를 개발함으로서 안전지향형 통합도로교통정보센터의 구현사례를 소개한다. 지능형교통체계는 안전지향의 통합도로교통정보 서비스 제공을 통한 교통안전체계를 구현할 뿐 만 아니라 전방의 홍수, 폭설 낙석, 도로유실 붕괴 등과 같은 자연재해 및 긴급상황 발생시 관련 정보를 시의 적절하게 제공함으로써 운전자의 안전한 도로운행을 지원하게 된다. 따라서 통합도로교통정보 서비스체계의 교통정보센터는 국민들에게 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 대국민 교통정보 서비스 제공으로 이용자 친화형 교통관리체계와 통합도로교통정보센터 기능을 실현하는데 일조할 것이다.

This research aims to examine the influence of road transportation infrastructure on the mobility of goods transport and the regional economy in Langkat Regency in Indonesia. This type of research is an associative and explanatory research whose data is obtained through a questionnaire survey. This study took a sample of 305 respondents using probability sampling in Langkat Regency, North Sumatera, Indonesia. Data analysis techniques use path analysis. The research results showed that the road transportation infrastructure variables had a significant and positive effect on the mobility of goods transport. Road transportation infrastructure and freight mobility simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on the economy of Langkat Regency. Road transportation infrastructure with the dimensions of road accessibility and maintenance partially directly has a significant and positive effect on the economy of the Langkat Regency. Road transportation infrastructure with the dimensions of road design and road construction quality partially does not have a direct effect on the regional economy, but has a positive and significant effect through the mobility of freight transport. The mobility of goods transport becomes an intervening variable that acts to mediate or determine the relationship between road transportation infrastructure variables to the regional economy.

우리나라의 경우 기존에 시행된 대부분의 도로건설사업이 교통수요의 과다 예측으로 인하여 재정의 낭비를 초래하였다. 이 같은 교통수요 예측 오류 발생의 원인은 여러 가지가 있을 수 있지만 사용된 교통기초자료의 낮은 신뢰성과 기관 간 정보연계 미흡을 주요한 원인으로 꼽을 수있다. 이에 본 연구는 대표적 교통기초자료인 국가교통DB와 수도권 가구통행실태는 향후 추진될 도로건설사업계획 수립에 크게 활용될 것이며 이 자료들도 현재 낮은 신뢰성과 기관 간 정보연계 미흡의 문제가 있으므로 개선이 필요하다는 인식하에서 시도되었으며 도로부문 교통기초자료 구축사업의 문제점을 교통수요 예측 관련 자료를 중심으로 살펴보고 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

Road freight transport industry in Korea contains many and complicate problems such as over supply of the vehicle caused by rapid policy changes, illegal multilevel transactions, poor truck drivers working environment, lack of road freight transport related statistics and so on. Korean government has developed various logistics industrial policy trying to solve these problems in various ways. However, the relationship among the problems and action plans has been more and more entangled since the part of suggested policies have made another perverted problems. These complex structure of the toad freight transport industry in Korea makes difficult to identify and to solve the problems. Causal map method helps to give a clean picture to understand the complex industry at a glance. This study contributes for visualization of the causal relationships among the existing problems and related policy issues in the road freight transport industry in Korea by causal map. This study could be helpful to develop the actual road freight transport industrial policies including the illogical multilevel and unfair transaction in Korea.

On facing the information society, the multi-faceted information utilization and the establishment of synthetic information management system in the overall industry and business administration have raised considerable attention. Thus, this study aims at the improvement of freight transport management through the establishment of pooling of the road freight transport information system as its effective information supporting system. Especially, it describes the freight transport information network, structure, function, and subject of the freight transport information center, as a basic planning design for the freight transport information system. Furthermore, it deals with the identification of the systems design requirements, working process, and S/W & H/W design specifications. Finally, we expect that this study will be contributed for the improvement of the road freight transport business to meet both the increase of freight transport demands due to the continuing economic growth and the social needs for the establishment of transport-order.

We have the common aim of encouraging freight to be carried by rail rather than by road because there are sufficient environmental, social and public benefits. Thus it is important to lead to freight traveling by rail rather than road and to ensure that freight on rail does not transfer to road. In Korea, taking freight off road and moving it by rail is more expensive from a point of total transport costs. Hence this paper is focused in the improvement methods for the rail freight transport which could be helped to promote the efficiency associated with moving freight by rail.

최근 고령사회로 접어든 우리나라에서 고령자가 밀집한 교통소외지역의 이동권 확보를 위해 자율주행 서비스가 대두되고 있다. 기존의 자율주행 관련 연구들은 도시 및 고속도로와 같은 교통수요가 많은 지역에 초점이 맞춰져 있고, 교통소외지역에 자율주행 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이를 위해서 교통소외지역의 도로 환경 및 인프라 환경을 조사하는 것이 선행되어야 한다. 도시와 교통소외지역의 도로 환경 차이는 자율주행에 중요한 요소인 운행설계영역(ODD)와 관련된 주행 기술을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 운행설계영역 측면에서 교통소외지역과 도시지역 간 유사한 도로 환경 요소와 차이를 보이는 요소를 비교 분석하였다. 교통소외지역의 도로 환경 중 Sidewalk, Boarding zones, Slope는 도시지역 여건과 차이를 보여 자율주행 운행설계영역 확장을 위한 기술적 고려가 필요한 상황이다.

프로브 차량을 이용한 이동식 교통정보수집체계가 확산되면서, 기존 소통정보 이외에 차량 내 센서를 이용한 포트홀, 낙하물, 노면결빙과 같은 도로위험정보 수집이 가능해지고 있다. 본 연구는 다수의 프로브 차량이 GPS 좌표 기반으로 도로위험정보와 같은 이벤트를 검지했을 때 시간 공간적으로 통합하여 실시간으로 처리하는 복합처리 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 알고리즘의 핵심기능은 특정 지점에 발생된 도로위험정보를 (1)다수의 프로브가 서로 다른 GPS 좌표로 검지한 결과로 부터 동일지점인지 여부를 판단하고, (2)그 지점을 국가표준노드링크 상에 특정하여 이벤트 데이터를 생성하며, (3)생성된 이벤트 데이터가 유효한지 지속적으로 판단하고, (4)도로위험상황이 종료되었을 때 이벤트를 종료시키는 것이다. 이를 위해 프로브 차량이 수집한 도로위험정보를 실시간으로 처리하여 조건부 확률을 지속적으로 갱신하는 과정을 통해 이벤트의 유효성을 판단하고 종료할 수 있도록 개발하였고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 알고리즘의 적용가능성을 검증하였다. 개발된 복합처리 알고리즘은 향후 C-ITS 및 자율주행자동차 등 프로브 기반의 교통정보 수집 및 이벤트 정보 처리에 적용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
