영암읍성(靈巖邑城) 소고(小考) (A Study on the Yeongam Eupseong (Town Fortress))

  • This study examined the background and change of building Yeongam eupseong and characteristics and construction method of its spatial structure. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, Yeongam eupseong was built for the same purpose of national border defense against the invasion of Japanese army as other Eupseongs were built and it was found first in the literature in the era of King Munjong of Joseon Dynasty with the scale of three gates and 4,369 cheok of castle wall. Such a scale was continued and in particular, according to flat structure, road network and gate position shown in the map, the form and road system of Yeongam eupseong before the 19th century were mostly identical with the current ones. Second, castle wall was built over foundation by using talcum after leveling the foundation soil and castle wall can be divided into outer wall, filling part and inner wall from the section. Outer wall was constructed by inserting and layering pebbles with big irregular stone, filling part was made with talcum and riprap and inner wall with soil in several layers by keeping gradient. This building method showed common features in inserting and layering pebbles for outer wall, use of protruded base and section form compared to Jeollado Eupseong.

  • 도시의 발달로 도시 외곽 도로의 산지를 통과하는 도로의 건설이 요구되지만 그 계획을 실행함에 있어서 많은 문제점들이 있다. 이것은 도로계획시 노선의 위치를 결정하는데 있어서 토공작업을 예측하고, 경관을 식별하여, 식생 및 토지이용 관계를 해석하므로 계획과 실행에서 도움을 주는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 36km에 달하는 광주 외곽을 순회하는 도시고속순환도로 중 제 1구간인 동광주 I.C 에서 소태 I.C까지의 노선의 일부 5Km를 연구 대상으로 결정하여 G.I.S에 의해 해석하였다. 그리고 설계도의 계획고와 같은 자료를 이용하여 조망 위치에 따라 달라지는 경관을 구간별로 도시하였으며, 광주의 명소인 무등산 주위를 순환하는 본 연구지를 G.I.S기법을 이용하여 지형경관을 해석하여 결론을 얻었다

A Competition-based Algorithm for Routing Discovery and Repair in Large-scale VANET

  • Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) in the large-scale road section usually have typical characteristics of large number of vehicles and unevenly distribution over geographic spaces. These two inherent characteristics lead to the unsatisfactory performance of VANETs. This poor performance is mainly due to fragile communication link and low dissemination efficiency. We propose a novel routing mechanism to address the issue in the paper, which includes a competition-based routing discovery with priority metrics and a local routing repair strategy. In the routing discovery stage, the algorithm uses adaptive scheme to select a stable route by the priorities of routing metrics, which are the length of each hop, as well as the residual lifetime of each link. Comparisons of different ratios over link length and link stability further show outstanding improvements. In the routing repair process, upstream and downstream nodes also compete for the right to establish repair process and to remain as a member of the active route after repair. Our simulation results confirm the improved performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • 서울에서 경남 진주까지 예전에는 철도와 도로교통수단을 이용할 경우 6시간정도 소요가 되는 구간이었지만, 2001년 11월 29일 당시 대전~진주간 고속도로가 완전 개통된 이후로 도로교통이 우세를 보이며 자가 차량과 고속버스에 철도교통은 그 경쟁력을 잃어 이용객이 줄고 하루 1회밖에 운행하지 않는 구간이 되었다. 본 연구는 이 구간에 대해 다양한 자료를 비교분석하여 진주 및 경남 서부지역은 물론 계획 중인 중부내륙선 철도와 연계하여 경남 서북부권과 경북 서남부권을 아우르는 지역이 도로교통수단과 경쟁을 하고 철도이용을 활성화 할 수 있는 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다.

차량속도에 따른 연성 포장의 최대인장변형률에 관한 연구 (A Study on Maximum Tensile Strain of Vehicle Speeds in Flexible Pavement)

  • This study presents a viscoelastic characterization of flexible pavement subjected to moving loads. A series of field tests have been conducted on three pavement sections (A2, A5, and A8) at the Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) test road. The effect of vehicle speed on the responses of each test section was investigated at three speeds: 25km/hr, 50km/hr, and 80km/hr. During the test, both longitudinal and lateral strains were measured at the bottom of asphalt layers and in-situ measurements were compared with the results of finite element (FE) analyses. A commercial FE package was used to model each test section and a step loading approximation has been adopted to simulate the effect a moving vehicle. Field responses reveal the strain anisotropy (i.e., discrepancy between longitudinal and lateral strains) and the amplitude of strain normally decreases as the vehicle speed increases. In most cases, lateral strain was smaller than the longitudinal strain, and strain reduction was more significant in lateral direction.

  • 영상 콘텐츠는 매체적 특성인 재현과 정보 전달, 몰입과 경험 등으로 교육의 수단으로 자주 활용되곤 한다. 특히, 종교영화의 경우, 종립학교나 신앙공동체에서 신앙의 이해와 고취를 위해서 더 많이 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 대순진리회가 영상 콘텐츠를 어떻게 활용하고 있는지를 영화 <화평의 길>과 대순진리회박물관의 영상 콘텐츠의 활용 현황을 살펴보고, 과제와 제언을 하는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구의 제2장에서는 대순진리회 영상 콘텐츠를 영화 <화평의 길>과 대순진리회박물관의 영상 콘텐츠의 현황을 살펴보고 어떻게 활용되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 그리고 제3장에서는 대순진리회의 영상콘텐츠가 현재 종단 내부의 종교교육 자료로만 기능하고 있다는 한계를 장르영화로서의 '예수 영화'를 통해서 어떻게 활용 가능한지에 대해서 살펴보았다. 그리고 마지막 제4장에서는 대순진리회의 영상 콘텐츠가 종교교육을 넘어선 다문화 종교교육의 자료로 활용될 가능성을 제안해 보았다. 이를 통해서 대순진리회가 영상 콘텐츠를 활용할 때 좀 더 시의성 있는, 지역 종교를 넘어서 세계 종교로서의 확장 가능성을 탐색하는 데 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.

복층터널 중간슬래브 설계 기준 마련을 위한 기본 거동 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Fundamental Behaviors of the Middle Slab in a Double-Deck Tunnel for Design Guide Development)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to investigate the fundamental behaviors such as stresses and deflections of the middle slab in a double-deck tunnel for the development of a middle slab design guide. METHODS : The middle slab has been divided into the following three different sections as according to its structural differences: the normal section, expansion joint section, and emergency passageway section. The normal section of middle slab represents the slab supported by brackets installed continuously along the longitudinal direction of tunnel lining. The expansion joint section refers to a discontinuity of middle slab due to the existence of a transverse expansion joint. The emergency passageway section has an empty rectangular space in the middle slab that acts as an exit in an emergency. The finite element analysis models of these three sections of middle slab have been developed to analyze their respective behaviors. RESULTS : The stresses and deflections of middle slab at the three different sections decrease as the slab thickness increases. The emergency passageway section yields the largest stresses and deflections, with the normal section yielding the smallest. CONCLUSIONS : The stress concentrations at the corners of the passageway rectangular space can be reduced by creating hunch areas at the corners. The stresses and deflections in the emergency passageway section can be significantly decreased by attaching beams under the middle slab in the passageway area.

콘크리트 포장 부분단면보수 재파손 구간의 적정 보수 방안 (Re-Repair Method for Deterioration of Partial Depth Repair Section in Portland Cement Concrete Pavement)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to suggest the construction and quality control method for the re-repair of a deteriorated partial depth repair for sections of Portland cement concrete pavement. METHODS : An experimental construction was conducted to extend the repair width for removing an existing repair section. A removal method was used to ensure early performance for a deteriorated partial depth repair section. Bond strength and split tensile strength were measured at the near vertical interface layer between the existing pavement and repair material. The area was analyzed for various conditions such as the extended repair area and the removing method of the existing repair section. RESULTS : As a result of analysis of bond strength and split tensile strength, the bonding performance of a milling removed section was improved over a cutting and hand breaker removed section. The bond strength was analyzed to increase slightly as the extended repair width for removing the existing repair section increased. The split tensile strength did not show a clear relationship to an increased extended repair width of an existing removed repair section. CONCLUSIONS : The milling removal method should be applied in the removal of existing deteriorated partial depth repair sections. The extended repair width for a re-repair section should be wider than the existing partial depth repair with at least a 75-mm length and width for the bond strength and the split tensile strength.

수치지도의 도로명주소 체계 연계를 위한 매칭 및 속성 융합 방안 - 도로중심선 레이어를 중심으로 - (Matching and Attribute Conflating Method for Linking the Digital Map with the Road Name Address System - Focused on the Road Centerline Layer -)

  • 2011년부터 본격적으로 도로명주소 체계가 시행 및 활용되고 있으나, 가장 대표적인 국가기본도인 수치지도는 현재 도로명주소 체계와 관련된 정보를 포함하지 않고 있는 관계로 도로명주소 체계하에서의 활용이 원활하게 이루어지기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 수치지도 객체의 속성정보에 도로명주소 관련 정보를 추가하여 확장형 수치지도를 생성할 수 있는 방법론을 연구하였다. 먼저 도로명주소 지도의 도로구간 레이어와 수치지도 도로중심선 레이어와의 중첩 분석을 통하여 두 레이어의 객체간 매칭 관계를 도출였으며, 두 레이어의 속성항목 분석을 통하여 도로명주소 지도에서 수치지도로 추가할 속성항목을 추출하였다. 도출된 결과를 이용하여 도로명주소 지도의 도로명주소 관련 속성정보들을 수치지도 도로중심선 데이터로 전달하였다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 속성 확장된 수치지도 도로중심선 레이어는 도로명주소 체계에 따른 도로명 정보를 속성으로 갖게 되며, 이에 따라 수치지도 활용시에 도로명주소 체계에 따른 위치참조가 가능하게 된다.

겨울철 서울 내부순환로 도로상 초미세입자 오염의 공간분포 특징 (Spatial Distributions of On-road Ultrafine Particle Number Concentration on Naebu Express Way in Seoul during Winter Season)

  • To understand the traffic emissions with high temporal and spatial resolutions on road, a mobile laboratory was developed. The objective of this study is to characterize on-road air pollution on Naebu express way surrounding the northern area of Seoul, Korea. We measured the number concentration of ultrafine particles larger than 5 nm and particle size distribution using a condensation particle counter and a fast mobility particle sizer, respectively on 3, 7, and 8 December 2009. The average ultrafine particle number concentration on the Naebu express way excluding tunnels was 126,000 particles/$cm^3$ and 4.2 times higher than that on internal road at Korea Institute of Science and Technology in Seoul, and more than twice higher than that measured on and at the arterial roads of Seoul in previous studies. The maximum ultrafine particle number concentration was observed at the tunnel sections. It was 232,000 particles/$cm^3$ and 1.8 times higher than average ultrafine particle number concentration for the other sections on Naebu express way. The ultrafine particle number concentration on the wider roads with higher traffic volume along the Han River was similar to that in the residential section, probably because of enhanced dilution effect in widely open environment. The size distribution of particles on the Naebu express way was highly fluctuated for a short duration. Ultrafine particles measured at the tunnel showed a bimodal size distribution with mode diameters of ~10 nm and ~50 nm. At the Han riverside section, ~10 nm particles appeared significantly compared with size distribution at the tunnel. This on-road measurement approach can be utilized to manage vehicle-related air pollution in urban area.
