공공 도로건설사업에서의 설계도서 납품체계 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement Measures for the Design Documents Delivery System in Public Road Construction Projects)

  • PURPOSES : This study aims to survey and analyze the status of the design and completion documents output delivery system in public construction projects in order to assess the problems of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT)'s electronic delivery system, with a focus on roads and rivers, and to offer improvement measures. METHODS : This study first surveys and analyzes laws and existing study trends with regard to the design and completion documents output delivery system in public construction projects. It further analyzes the status of the output delivery system in public construction projects, including roads, rivers, expressways, water resources, and railroads. In addition, a comparative analysis of the current electronic delivery system of MOLIT and Korea Expressway Corporation in the road field is conducted, and the problems and improvement measures for MOLIT's electronic output delivery system are presented. This study seeks to analyze problems and prepare improvement measures with regard to road and river public construction projects, as ordered by MOLIT's five regional offices. RESULTS : This study sought to prepare the electronic output delivery system with regard to public construction projects and present the analysis of its major problems and improvement measures in four categories: "the preparation of electronic design documents output delivery system improvement measures including inspection and delivery," "preparation of guidelines, systems, etc., concerning electronic design documents," "preparation of improvement measures for the construction project management system and electronic design document support tools", and "linking of MOLIT's electronic output delivery system with relevant agencies and the expansion thereof to local governments." CONCLUSIONS : This study analyzed the current status and problems of the MOLIT's electronic output delivery system in the field of road and river construction projects, and presented corresponding improvement measures. This study is expected to address the problems of the MOLIT's electronic output delivery system, and to provide the foundation for the preparation of an efficient electronic output delivery system for design and completion documents. In addition, this study is expected to boost the quality and utilization of the electronic design documents output, and to exchange, share, and link construction information among relevant agencies so as to prepare the foundation for sharing construction information.

  • Concrete slab bridge is one of most common structures employed for local road constructions because of its simplicity in design and construction. Computer applications were developed to automate the repetitive computation for these simple structures. However, in most cases, managing the electronic documents produced by these applications has not been incorporated with design automation application yet. Resultant documents are often managed by individuals and disappear as time goes by due to lack of systemic management. This paper introduces a Web-based application developed to not only speed up the design process but also enhance the collection and manipulation of resultant electronic documents.

도로분야 IFC 확장을 위한 도로시설의 구성요소 도출 (Extraction of Road Structure Elements for Developing IFC(Industry Foundation Classes) Model for Road)

  • 최근 표준으로 등록된 IFC(Industry Foundation Classes)4는 건축시설의 형상요소 표현에 한정될 뿐 도로, 교량 및 터널 등의 토목시설에 대한 형상표준을 정의하고 있지 않아 여전히 토목 형상모델의 교환을 위한 상호운용성에 제약이 있다. 특히 도로시설은 중심선형에 따라 모델링되는 선형적 특성을 가지며, 프로젝트 별로 형상이 서로 상이하여 표준화된 도로정보모델을 구축하는 것이 곤란하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도로의 형상정보모델 개발을 위해 3차원 설계 프로세스 관점에서 도로를 구성하는 구조요소 및 속성을 도출하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 도로설계를 위해 활용되는 도로설계편람, 지침, 시방서 및 기하설계 기준 등의 정보를 분석하여 도로 구조물의 형상 요소와 속성을 추출한다. 도출된 형상은 엔티티(Entity) 항목으로 정의하고 가상 도로모델을 통해 정의된 도로 형상모델의 위계구조를 검토한다. 도출된 도로의 세부 구조 요소 및 속성은 인프라 분야의 BIM(Building Information Modeling)환경을 구축하기 위한 3차원 형상정보로 활용되며, 도로의 구체적인 형상, 타입 및 속성을 세분화하여 도로분야의 IFC로 확장하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a guideline to help the client and bidder operate the BIM project in the domestic road field. As BIM design is mandatory in the construction field, documents disclosed by the ordering agency must essentially include procedures and step-by-step requirements to support BIM. The purpose of this study is to propose the structure and components of the guidelines that practitioners need practically by utilizing the currently announced road field guidelines. The guidelines are analyzed based on the procurement documents that were pre-emptively shared overseas, and supplemented according to the domestic situation. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the revised guidelines is confirmed through expert consultation. This study aims to contribute to creating an environment in which construction practitioners who have no experience in BIM project can efficiently carry out BIM projects.

도로 배수시설의 형상정보 표현을 위한 IFC 정보모델 확장 방안 (The Extension of IFC Model Schema for Geometry Part of Road Drainage Facility)

  • 본 연구는 도로분야의 정보모델 표준 구축을 목표로 하고 있으며 도로 배수시설을 대상으로 IFC 스키마의 토목요소 확장 방안을 제시하였다. 국내 도로설계 관련 문헌 분석을 통해 도로 배수시설 중 IFC 모델로 정의가 가능한 구성요소를 도출하였으며 IFC 엔티티를 정의하였고 속성으로 정의가 가능한 배수시설 별 설계 정보를 도출하여 IFC 프로퍼티로 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 IFC 스키마를 도로 배수시설에 적합하도록 확장 할 수 있으며 추가적인 도로 시설물을 수용할 수 있는 IFC 스키마가 개발된다면 이를 통해 향후 공정관리, 비용 산출 및 시뮬레이션 등이 가능한 어플리케이션에서 상호운용성을 유지하며 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS FROM ONSITE EQUIPMENT USAGE IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION

  • Onsite usage of construction equipment accounts for a 6.8% of air pollution in Korea. The high concentration of carbon dioxide in such emissions impact not only climate change, but also people's health. However, greenhouse gas emissions from onsite equipment usage have not yet been fully investigated. This study presents a comparative analysis on how much greenhouse gas is generated by various equipment types used in different construction activities. Two ongoing cases which involve a typical road construction project in Korea were selected for the comparison purpose. Greenhouse gas emissions from each onsite equipment usage of the different activities were estimated on the ground of design documents. The estimates were compared and analyzed to derive the main sources of greenhouse gas emissions. The result showed that earthwork constituted the largest part-more than 90%-among work types. Dump truck, bulldozer, and loader were major sources for such emissions. The study results are expected to be used as a basis for reduction of greenhouse gas emission from onsite equipment usage.

도로 부대시설 수용을 위한 IFC 스키마 확장 개발 (Extension of the IFC Schema for Road Subsidiary Facility)

  • 본 연구는 도로분야의 표준 정보모델 구축을 목표로 하고 있으며 도로 부대시설을 대상으로 IFC 스키마를 확장 개발하였다. 국내 도로설계 관련 문헌 분석을 통해 도로 부대시설을 구성하는 요소를 도출하였으며, 이를 통해 IFC스키마의 엔티티, 타입, 프로퍼티를 정의하여 스키마를 확장 개발하였다. 또한 새로운 스키마를 수용하는 컨버터와 뷰어를 개발하여 부대시설 BIM 모델을 IFC모델로 변환하여 연구결과를 검증하였다. 개발된 스키마를 통해 변환된 표준 모델을 활용할 경우 도로분야 BIM 발주시 표준화 된 모델 기반의 납품 및 검증이 이루어질 수 있으며, 설계단계 뿐만 아니라 시공, 유지관리 단계까지 IFC를 활용하는 토목분야 개방형 BIM 체계를 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, BIM has been widely applying in civil engineering projects centering on the private construction industry in order to establish self guidelines for spreading in practice. However, most BIM technologies and software are based on the architectural projects. In these environments, it is not easy to apply the BIM to a infrastructure field. Even BIM standards with IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) are also focusing on architectural projects. Especially, both private and public sectors do not know about how BIM delivery system should be performed, and how such deliverable should be submitted to the government yet. Thus, we need to analyze an application level of BIM S/W (Software) in real projects and verify their interoperability. Besides, since there are not any common standards that can exchange IFC models for civil engineering projects, we have many issues in converting as-built infrastructure models into IFC and delivering their design documents to the government. Accordingly, this study aims to perform a BIM process with commercial software for real road project after a detailed design process is finished and verify interoperability between diverse BIM software for securing BIM data reliability.

동영상을 이용한 주행차량속도 산정 (Estimation of Vehicle Traveling Speed Using Moving Image)

  • of the road would be a key index judged for a safety at the vehicle driving on the road. In Korea, as seen through a lot of documents, the vehicle driving speed is much faster compared with the design speed. The vehicle driving speed is an important element to get to know the vehicle driving characteristics. However, it is not easy to obtain the vehicle driving speed relating to vehicles' consecutive movements just merely through the presently used methods of vehicle driving speed. In consequence, this study has conducted photographing vehicle movements by use of digital moving images. Based on digital moving Images pictured, we have obtained a certain time interval frame and extracted out vehicles' coordinates and calculated vehicle speed from the firstly rectified image and the secondly rectified image. We could obtain comparatively exact results in the calculation of vehicle driving speed as errors of about 4%, as a result of comparison and verification of vehicle speed calculated from the digital moving images and the speed obtained from DGPS.

IHSDM의 국내도로 적용성 분석 및 도로설계 안전성 평가 시스템의 사용자 요구분석 (Analysis of Applicability of IHSDM into Korea and User Requirements for Development of Road Design Safety Assessment System)

  • 국내에서의 도로설계 안전성 평가는 도로설계 전문가의 설계도면 검토, 현장방문을 통한 자문자료를 통하여 이루어져왔다. 이러한 설계 안전성 평가는 전문가의 판단을 뒷받침 할 수 있는 객관적인 근거가 부족하다는 문제점과 안전측 편익을 계산하기 위한 수치적인 결과가 부족하다는 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선 보완할 수 있는 도로설계 안전성 평가 시스템을 개발하기 위해 IHSDM의 국내도로 적용성 평가, 잠재적 사용자 요구분석을 수행하였다. IHSDM의 사고예측모듈에서 안전성을 평가하기 위해 도로구간별 사고빈도 및 사고율을 산정하는 방법론과 도로의 특성을 반영할 수 있도록 하고 있는 AMF의 개발은 기존의 사고예측모형을 통한 사고예측이나 전문가 판단을 통한 안전성 평가의 한계점을 보완하고 있다. 그러나 이 같은 장점에도 불구하고 국내도로의 IHSDM 적용성 평가 결과 국내도로의 사고를 과대 예측하는 경향을 보여 국내도로의 사고특성을 반영하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. IHSDM이 반영하지 못하는 대표적 지방부 국내도로 특성으로는 도로변 토지이용도와 미국과는 상이한 지방부 도로의 교통량특성인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사용자 요구분석을 통해서는 데이터 입력방식과 도출된 결과를 제시하는 방법의 다양성과 편의성이 확보가 중요시 되는 것으로 분석되었다.
