  • Construction and extension of road by industrialization are increasing. According to this, construction of large cutting slope is increasing. Therefore, many methods for slope stability by this are applied. Failure happens according to dip and dip direction of slope. It is actuality that is connoting unstable element. This slope include coaly shale. Stability of slope failure this study takes place by road extension running examination for stability property calculate. Use this and examined stability about stereographic projection and wedge failure. Apply suitable reinforcement countermeasure about unstable cutting slope and analyzed stability. Wish to consider effective and robust processing plan of great principle earth and sand side securing stability. Hereafter with these data, is going to utilize in reinforcement and failure prevention.

  • As an answer for need for minimizing the road excavation of a box type tunnel, a method of vertical snake was developed, which is very economical and easy to construct. The reason why it is good is, the road excavation width, steel accessories, the road occupation space decreases with the technology. The pros and cons of 345kV XLPE $2,500mm^2$ horizontal and vertical snake are listed below. In this study, topics such as 345kV XLPE $2,500mm^2$ vertical snake construction standard and the development process of steel accessories, vertical snake construction procedure will be covered.

  • In comparison with different mass transportation systems, the streetcar is lower, both in speed and transportation capacity. However, it has the advantage of reducing the cost of construction, because it makes infrastructure simple, by using the road. It is proper in the city, where the population is few, to raise the efficiency of traffic. The convenience is high to passengers. On time accuracy and the commercial speed is influenced by operating condition. Generally that is organized into 21m degree in 6 quantity. All passengers in a streetcar are about 180 people. The maximum speed is 40~60km/h. When road traffic is considered, the speed can be reduced to 15km/h. To enhance the speed, the construction of a priority signaling system is necessary which is integrated with the road traffic operation information system. In order to develop a better Traffic Control System which is connected to a Traffic Control Center, a Priority Signaling System which incorporates Intersection Control Technics must be included.

  • Route selecting of the road is a basic and important process. But the route selecting process must consider the technical, traffic and environment factor simultaneously. The optimum route that are able to reduce the construction cost, maximize utility value and investigate several alternative route must be selected. This study presents a reasonable plan for route selecting through subjective evaluation and classify the methods linked GIS from basic design of road construction.

  • For the purpose of building up the construction prospects of highway in consideration of natural environment. The tree planting and flower seeding in highway road side using native species were offered to natural landscape and resting area landscaping for peoples, and these area were 194place. The tree planting and flower seeding activity is to improve driving circumstances, and to conserve living and natural environment along the highways. And, preparation of ecotone and biotope at the highway surroundings for natural ecosystem conservation is an important activity, and planting of natural plants is generally carried out near wildlife ecoroads in order to give the way for animals. The primary purpose of this tree planting and seeding is not only to reduce environmental pollution, but also to enhance the ecological surroundings of highway circumference. Ultimately, It is essential that the constructive method of highway think over such as ecological environment and road design, surveying and management, construction, highway maintenance etc.

Effect of Type and S/N Ratio of Combined Noise Sources on Sleep Disturbance (수면방해에 대한 복합소음의 종류와 S/N비의 영향)

  • The World Health Organization(WHO) has reported the sleep disturbance as one of the adverse effects of noise. And the effect of combined noise sources on human have been investigated because community noises are seldom heard and are concurrent. Therefore, the effects of combined noise source and its S/N ratio on sleep disturbance were investigated; as a single noise source, road traffic noise was selected, and construction and movie noise were combined with road traffic noise. Tests for sleep disturbance were conducted in bedrooms and the effect on each subjects' sleep was evaluated by questionnaire. The results showed that the rate of awakening increased slightly only when the SPL of construction noise was 10 dB higher than that of road traffic noise. It was also found that the sleep disturbance was affected by the type of combined noise sources and its S/N ratio.

  • Due to the various restrictions and problems related to the construction of new roads in urban areas, underground road construction has been receiving a great deal of attention in the field of tunnel engineering. In this study, a double-deck road tunnel with a diverging section was analyzed for the evaluation of its stability. Both numerical analysis and scale model tests were performed, the results were used to develop a stability evaluation method for double-deck tunnels with diverging sections constructed in rocks by NATM. From regression analyses conducted on the results of the numerical analysis, an equation and a chart were derived, these tools allow us to obtain the strength/stress ratio (SSR) for double-deck road tunnels with a diverging tunnel in various diverging conditions quickly and accurately. These tools have great potential to help engineers evaluate the stability of double-deck tunnels in the preliminary design stage.

Analysis of Change in Flora and Vegetation in the Research Sites before and after the Forest Road Construction in Minjujisan in Korea - Focused on the Forest Road at Jeollabuk-do Muju-gun Seolcheon-myeon Micheon-ri Minjujisan Area - (임도 개설 전·후 식물상 및 식생 변화 분석 - 전북 무주군 설천면 미천리 민주지산 임도를 중심으로 -)

  • This study was conducted for 10 years from 2012, which is a year before the forest road construction in Minjujisan, to 2022 to analyze annual changes in flora and vegetation before and after the forest road construction and to provide strategies for management. The plant communities in the research sites along the forest road showed the differentiation between slopes with Quercus mongolica community on the northwestern slope and Quercus variabilis and Larix kaempferi communities on the southwestern slope. A total of 212 taxa have increased for number 7 between before and after the construction from a total of 66 taxa (44 families, 59 genera, 51 species, 13 varieties, and 2 forma) in 2012 and 207 taxa (71 families, 153 genera, 176 species, 27 varieties, and 4 forma) in 2015 to 278 taxa (78 families, 172 genera, 242 species, 1 subspecies, 31 varieties, and 4 forma) in 2022. It is noteworthy that the vegetation cover and the introduction of new taxa had been expanded in the sites adjacent to the construction, which is likely caused by the significantly increased amount of light and the introduction of annual herbaceous and naturalized plants after the construction. The results of 10 years of current study reveal that the vegetation cover and the number of new taxa had rapidly increased in earlier years after the construction, slowly decreased later on, and finally formed a stable forest with the increase in the ratio of dominant species. The vegetation cover of the herbaceous layer immediately increased on the slopes along the forest road for a few years after the construction although it had continuously decreased while that of the shrub layer quickly increased. It was shown that on the hillslope the vegetation cover of tall- and low-tree layers increased whereas that of herbaceous and shrub layers rapidly decreased.

  • This paper is the environmental impact assessment of at road design in the light of the sense for the real from the virtual reality. For In this papers, This study developed 3D-model and virtual reality contents by suggesting the environmental impact assessment based on GIS in the road design. Ant through this process, it's possible to visualize the environmental impact assessment by constructing the 3D-model and simulation. The 3D-model can be a method to show the road effectively by maximizing the road's shape visually after the construction. The main construction which composes polyhedron model that is generated from digital map and aerial photo is built by mapping the real texture, so the Sense for the Real was more heightened. Through this study, it must be made to shorten a long time exhausting period of conference and construct more real road after due scene consideration by specific and various low-cost strategy in the environmental impact assessment afterwards.

  • Importance of road that is country base equipment is occupying fair part. Therefore, establishment of road and maintenance expense for road management are increasing continuously. These problem can manage efficiently through data model construction that take advantage of framework data. But, because of difference of method of study in research institution, framework data research was constructed being overlapped until current. This is because framework data research was no access of application side. Therefore, National Geographic Information Institute presented subject framework data model guide through framework data model standardization business. This research constructed road management data model that take advantage of traffic framework data. Therefore, we can check equal data construction and reduce expense accordingly. Also, because there are not data model development instances by framework data model, it is difficult that judge whether is suitable to apply framework data model guide. Hence, in this study, the extended road management data medel and the suitability of framework data is presented.
