Objectives : The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of general and oral health improvement programs for the elderly by analyzing the effect of health risk factors on the remaining teeth of the elderly in day care centers. Methods : The subjects were 294 elderly people who used day care centers in Seoul. Results : In terms of health risk factors, the elderly who did not have diabetes or smoke had more remaining teeth. In terms of oral health risk factors, the elderly with no dental caries, periodontal disease and dental pain had more remaining teeth. Conclusions : It is necessary to activate systematic welfare services for the elderly that fit their lifestyle in the light of the health and oral health risk factors of the elderly who use day care centers.

SE generally defines approaching ways of conducting identification, verification and integration of an optimized product and process solution to meet customer's needs by leveraging organizational competency in engineering and management. To successfully develop a new product under mass production contract, it is important to efficiently carry out the program by ensuring that three major competencies are secured; core technology, system integration, and program management. For successful implementation of tasks in the three areas, systematic execution is called for, which requires identifying risk factors in advance. In particular, comprehensive risk management role and responsibility is required for program management. Success of a development program is determined by complex elements of human resources, organization culture, and overall competency of an organization in technology and program management, including capability of the program manager. In this paper, a risk management solution is suggested to lead a program to success with a more efficient way through actual risk management by the concept of SE around the above three areas.

Analysis of construction tender documents in overseas projects is a very important issue from a risk management point of view. Unfortunately, majority of construction firms are biased by winning contracts without in-depth analysis of tender documents. As a result, many contractors have incurred loss in overseas projects. Although a lot of risk analysis techniques have been introduced, most of them focus project's external unexpected risks such as country conditions and owner's financial standing. However, because those external risks are difficult to control and take preemptive action, we need to concentrate on project inherent risks. Based on this premise, this paper proposes a project-oriented risk mining approach which could detect and extract project risk factors automatically before they are materialized and assess them. This study presents a methodology regarding how to extract potential risks which exist in owner's project requirements and project tender documents using state of the art data analysis method such as text mining, data mining, and information visualization. The project-oriented risk mining approach is expected to effectively reflect project characteristics to the project risk management and could provide construction firms with valuable business intelligence.

There is much more possibilities of encounter of critical problems and uncertain factors in construction project it is very important to analyze various risk factors of the project in its first stage. Because of the uncertainty, we need to study about the construction insurance scheme for risk-transfer within construction management method. This research methodology has been devised through analysis of characteristic of classified domestic construction insurance as well as some related foreign insurance system.

Purpose: This study explored possible risk factors influencing the development of colorectal cancer by comparing life habits of colorectal cancer patients and healthy adults. Methods: The study was designed as a retrospective comparison survey study of the colorectal cancer patient group and healthy adult group. 107 colorectal cancer patients in a university hospital and 124 healthy adults were recruited from October 2011 to August 2012. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test/t-test and logistic regression with the SPSS program. Results: Consumption of instant food products, lower stress management, burned meats and unhealthy eating habits were shown to be risk factors in development of colorectal cancer. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study comparing colorectal cancer patients and healthy adults, minimizing consumption of instant food products, development of healthy eating habits of consuming more vegetables, cooking meat slightly, and effective management of stress levels are recommended.

There are insufficient models that find problems and solutions for accident prevention through risk assessment and suggest safe work process and work instruction from foundation works to finish work for accident decrease. This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as foundation, erection, structure, equipment finish and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in building. In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.

The study aims to examine the role of financial risk management in predicting the financial performance of commercial banks in Pakistan over the period of 2006-2017. For this purpose, risk management is measured through credit risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk, while financial performance is measured through ROA, ROE, and ROI. For this purpose, the dynamic panel model and two step GMM panel estimators are used to test the hypothesis empirically. The annual secondary data has been taken from the published financial reports of commercial banks of Pakistan. The results show that financial risk management significantly decreases the financial performance of commercial banks in Pakistan. Overall, the results are conclusive across the alternative measures of financial risk management in predicting the financial performance of the banking sector in Pakistan. The study suggested that managers should adopt risk management and risk hedging strategies to manage commercial banks' financial risks in Pakistan. They should hold extra cash while using the trade credit facilities. Previous studies mostly used a static model, but this study used a dynamic panel model. This study is among the first that focused on the various factors affecting the banks' performance in Pakistan.

Exterior insulation board in cast-in-place concrete form system could reduce construction period and improve quality in apartment construction. However, the method is progressed with insulation and concrete frame works at the same time, then risk is increased in duration control and quality management. Therefore, this paper analyzed risk factors through FMEA method. We found that the key risk factors delaying schedule was insulation material that soaked in the rain and quality defects on the insulation material joint. Based on this research, the risk management approach should be developed for improvement of method activation.

Since the diversification, complication of the construction industry, construction conflicts have been increased these days. Expansion of scale of construction has brought conflict treatment cost increase. Thus, needs of the study on construction conflict risk factors and its management is getting important. But the existing studies about construction conflicts and risk factors that need to be cared to decrease construction cost are almost focused on analysis of number of conflict proposed. It means those studies can be helpful when want to know how many conflict have been instituted, however, they do not contain a close examination between types of conflict and cost of conflict treatment. The purpose of this study, therefore, is an extraction of conflict causes based on the conflict treatment cost and the choice of significant risk factors to be managed to prevent conflict and its treatment cost, which enables reducing the conflict treatment colt on control the risk factors.

According to the statistical surveys and studies, insufficient maintenance in the use of existing buildings caused fire and collapse accidents. In this respect, I analyzed the data managed by the current building maintenance and inspection system to find out the actual state of safety management and proposed two significant results. First, regarding the state of the buildings, the safety management status of the small-sized ones, where 20 years or more passed after construction, is the worst and a priority improvement plan is required. Second, there are eight deeply concerning factors for the fire incidents and collapse accidents of buildings. In the order of high risk, these factors are structural strength (seismic design), exterior wall finishing material, basement floor, interior finishing materials, other evacuation facilities, corridors stairs entrances, rooftop, fire partition. We need to have more special designs and management plans regarding high-risk factors as a system to prevent accidents in the building.
