영남 지역 대학생들의 식품 위해요인에 대한 위험 지각 특성 연구 (A Study on Risk Perception Characteristics for Food Risk Elements of University Students in Yeungnam Region)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the levels of risk perception characteristics for food risk elements using a psychometric paradigm from 298 university students in Yeungnam region, Korea, by a self-administered questionnaire. The respondents showed the highest level of risk concern about radioactive contaminated foods and the lowest level about GM (genetically modified) foods. In the risk perception characteristics for food risk elements, they perceived radioactive contaminated foods as a catastrophic, worried, new, and uncontrollable risk. In addition, they regarded food additives and foodborne illness as a chronic, controllable, old, and scientifically and individually known risk. According to the results of the factor analysis for risk perception characteristics, dread and unknown were categorized. In the risk perception map, mad cow disease, heavy metal contaminated foods, and radioactive contaminated foods were considered as a dreaded and unknown risk, whereas pesticide residues and GM foods were perceived as a less dreaded and unknown risk. Additionally, food additives and foodborne illness were regarded as a less dreaded and known risk and endocrine disruptors and avian influenza as a dreaded and known risk. These results imply that risk perception characteristics of consumers should be considered to establish strategies for risk communication in food science.

  • We question whether Korean IT managers consider real options to reduce risks of cloud service implementation. This work investigates the impact of technology risk, relationship risk, economy risk, security risk upon the intention of IT managers to utilize abandon & expansion options. We also analyze moderation effect of centralization level of decision making between these risks and the utilization of real options. Using the survey questionnaire, we empirically find that technology risk, relationship risk and security risk have significant effect upon abandon option and technology risk, relationship risk, and economy upon expansion option. We also find the evidence that centralization level moderates some risks and the direction of moderation effect is to offset the effect of risks on intention to utilize real options.

대학생의 진로자기효능감이 위험감수수준에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Career Self-Efficacy on Risk Taking Level in University Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 진로자기효능감이 위험감수수준에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 진로에 관련하여 능동적 직업탐색의 근본이 되어주는 진로자기효능감을 자기평가, 목표설정, 직업정보, 문제해결의 4개 항목으로 설정하였으며, 위험감수수준은 직업선택, 금전관리, 인간관계의 3가지 항목으로 설정하였다. 본 연구를 위한 설문조사는 2011. 11. 26.~12. 17. 까지 3주간에 걸쳐 서울과 수도권 그리고 지방에 있는 4년제 대학생을 대상으로 실시하였고 450부의 설문지를 배포하여 이 중 유효한 402명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 진로자기효능감 중에서 자기평가 항목은 금전관리위험감수수준이 높은 군이 가장 유의한 영향을 보였고, 문제해결 항목은 직업선택위험감수수준과 인간관계위험감수수준이 높은 군에서 가장 유의한 영향을 보였다. 직업정보는 위험감수수준 전 항목에서 부(-)의 영향력을 끼치며 위험감수 수준이 낮은 연구대상일수록 직업정보에 더욱 적극적인 영향력을 미친다는 연구결과가 나왔다. 본 연구는 취업을 앞둔 대학생에게 직업유형에 따른 위험감수수준이라는 개인의 직무에 대한 보다 세분화된 분석 자료를 제공하고 직업탐색에 가장 기본적인 요소인 진로자기효능감에 대한 새로운 검증이라는 데에 의미가 있다.

관상동맥질환 위험정도와 혈관탄성의 관계에서 치료지시이행의 매개효과: 경피적 관상동맥 중재술 환자 대상 (Comparison of Vessel Elasticity according to Risk Factors for Coronary Artery Disease, and the Mediating Effects of Treatment Compliance among Patients with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to provide basic data for vascular health of patient who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) by verifying the mediating effect of compliance in the relationship between risk level of coronary artery disease (CAD) and blood vessel elasticity. Methods: This is a descriptive study with 115 patients, who underwent the PCI a year ago and visited in the cardiology department from January to March, 2015. The risk level of CAD, blood vessel elasticity and the compliance were measured. For data analysis, SPSS/WIN 21.0 and AMOS (IBM) 21.0 were used. Results: There were a positive correlation with blood vessel elasticity score (i.e. inelasticity of the blood vessel wall) (r=.189) and a negative correlation with compliance (r=-.658) in mediating effect of risk level of CAD. There was a negative correlation between compliance and blood vessel elasticity (r=-.482). The direct effect (${\beta}=-.226$), indirect effect (${\beta}=.415$) and total effect (${\beta}=.186$) of mediating effect of risk level of CAD on blood vessel elasticity were significant. Compliance had a partial mediating effect of risk level of CAD on blood vessel elasticity. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that managing and preventing moderating effect of risk level of CAD on compliance is helpful in restoring blood vessel elasticity.

도시철도 역사 내 철도안전사상사고 위험도 관리 방안 (Risk Management for Casuality Accident at Urban Railway Stations)

  • 본 논문에서는 도시철도 역사 내 철도안전사상사고의 위험도관리방안을 도출하였다. 위험도 관리는 사고확률을 낮추는 예방대안과 피해가능규모를 줄이는 대안을 활용하여 위험도를 일정 수준까지 낮추는 방법을 제시하였다. 우선. 각 대안별로 편익과 비용을 계산하여 경제성 분석을 수행하였다. 편익비용비가 1을 초과하는 대안에 국한하여 편익비용비가 높은 순서대로 우선순위를 결정하였다. 대안별 우선순위대로 철도안전사상사고 위험도가 일정수준(ALARP수준)까지 낮추어질 때까지 하나씩 적용하는 방안을 제시하였다. 위험도의 ALARP수준을 결정하기 위하여 역사 내 철도안전 서비스수준(LOS)을 정립하였다. ALARP수준은 철도안전 서비스수준(LOS) "C"로 결정하였다. 최종적으로는 서울시 서울메트로와 서울도시철도공사가 운영하고 있는 역사 중 위험도가 가장 높은 역사에 대하여 사례연구를 수행하였다.

  • Background: Emerging infectious diseases, such as Middle East respiratory syndrome or coronavirus disease 2019, pose a continuous threat to public health, making a risk assessment necessary for infectious disease control and prevention. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the risk assessment methods for infectious diseases used by major foreign countries and organizations. Methods: We conducted an investigation and comparative analysis of risk assessment and risk determination methods for infectious diseases. The risk assessment tools included the strategic toolkit for assessing risks, influenza risk assessment tool, pandemic severity assessment framework, and rapid risk assessment methodology. Results: The most frequently reported risk elements were disease severity, antiviral treatment, attack rate, population immunity, and basic productive ratio. The risk evaluation method was evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively by the stakeholders at each institution. Additionally, the final risk level was visualized in a matrix, framework, and x and y-axis. Conclusion: Considering the risk assessment tools, the risk element was classified based on the duplicate of each indicator, and risk evaluation and level of risk assessment were analyzed.

  • The objective of this research is to ensure that the ports and waterways management system can establish and maintain a reasonable level of safety level during high density passenger operations. The research model was developed included computer based model that could be used that can be used to measure and monitor risk and evolved overtime. The research methodology provides model for assessing relative risk and evaluating risk reduction measures. The risk analysis based on expert judgement was refined overtime. They provide a basis for risk reduction and risk management policies and strategies. The evaluation and validation of risk model and development of data, methods, tools required to measure, monitor and evaluate ports and waterway risk was implemented.

  • Diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) was known as endocrine disrupter revealing reproductive / developmental toxicity. For a long time, risk due to DEHP released from PVC medical devices was became an issue for patient receiving blood bag, iv injection solution like saline and Hartman's solution. This study was conducted to suggest permissible intake level (PIL) of DEHP based on reproductive toxicity, to quantify daily intake level of DEHP can be exposed to patient through various medical treatment and to estimate risk values of DEHP released from PVC medical devices.(omitted)

공역의 구조적 변경에 따른 위험평가 절차 연구 (A study on Risk Assessment Procedure for the Structural changes of Navigable Airspaces)

  • 'Navigable airspace' means an airspace at and above the minimum safe flight level, including airspace or flight procedures needed for safe takeoff and landing. Airspace may be established as needed and may be abolished, and in some cases may be limited to airspace management. These are absolutely based on risk assessment. Safety is the state in which the risk of harm to persons or of property damage is reduced to, and maintained at or below, an acceptable level through a continuing process of hazard identification and risk management. 'Risk' is the assessed potential for adverse consequences resulting from a hazard and 'Risk assessment' involves consideration of both the frequency and the severity of any adverse consequence. This paper proposed 'risk assessment procedure' for the structural changes of Navigable Airspaces through literature reviews relevant to manuals on airspace management and risk management.

위험 하에서의 외해가두리양식업 투자의사결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Investment Decision of Offshore Aquaculture under Risk)

  • This study is aimed to establish an investment decision model for offshore aquaculture project of rock bream in Korea using a certainty equivalent method (CEM) based on the expected utility theory and to investigate its economic viability under risk and uncertainty. In the analysis with CEM, the effects of risk attitude and risk level on investment and risk premium were examined and the impacts of various risk and uncertainty factors on the investment decision were also assessed. In addition, the outcomes were compared to those evaluated by the traditional net present value (NPV) method. Results show that risk premium grew as the investors became more risk averse and uncertainty level (the variance of NPV) increased. Consequently, the certainty equivalent value was predicted to decrease from the value assessed by the traditional NPV method.
