현대식 Rock TBM에서 가압형 링빔의 효과 연구: I. 수치해석적 연구 (Effect of utilizing pressurized ring beam system in modern rock TBM: I. Numerical study)

  • 현대식 Rock TBM공법은 TBM에 의한 굴착과 지반 타입에 따른 능동적인 지보가 어우러진 공법으로 세그먼트를 사용하지 않고 숏크리트, 링빔, 록볼트, 와이어매쉬 등의 지보재에 의해 터널을 지보한다. 현대식 Rock TBM에서 사용되는 링빔은 H-형강을 사용하여 NATM의 강지보재와 유사하나 원형으로 완전히 폐합되어 설치됨에 따라 강지보재보다 더 효과적이다. 따라서 현대식 Rock TBM에서 링빔은 터널의 안정성 향상에 기여하는 바가 크며, 본 연구에서 소개하는 가압형 링빔(pressurized ring beam)은 그 효과를 더욱 향상 시킬 수 있다. 가압형 링빔의 효과를 검증하기 위해 3차원 수치해석을 수행하였으며 그 결과 최소주응력 증가, 과대변위를 발생시키는 소성변형률의 감소, 링빔 설치 후 발생하는 변위인 상대변위감소 그리고 링빔 간격 증가 효과를 확인하였다.

인천 십정동 유적 내 출토 목관의 연륜연대 및 재질분석 (Analysis and Tree-Ring Dating of Wooden Coffins Excavated from Incheon Sipjeong-Dong Site)

  • 본 연구에서는 인천 십정동 유적에서 출토된 목관(1호 회곽묘)에 대해 연륜연대와 사용된 재료를 확인하고자 진행하였다. 목관부재 10점에 대한 수종은 모두 소나무류로 확인되었다. 정확한 연륜측정을 위해 사포를 이용하여 횡단면을 연마하였다. 연륜폭은 이용하여 0.01 mm 정확도로 측정하였다. 5점의 부재들은 서로 간에 일치하였기 때문에 83년간의 대표연륜연대기가 작성되었다. 작성된 대표연륜연대기는 표준연륜연대기들과 비교를 통해 목관의 최외각 연륜은 1575년으로 확인되었고, 16세기 후반에 목관이 제작된 것으로 판단하였다. 또한 목관 표면에 부착된 섬유에 대해 현미경관찰 및 FT-IR분석을 통해 견섬유가 사용된 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 목관 표면에 칠해져 있던 칠은 FT-IR, Py-GC/MS 분석으로 옻칠임을 확인할 수 있었다.

구속 링을 이용한 관 결합 공정의 응력해석 (Stress Analysis of Pipe Connection Process Using Clamping Ring)

  • The pipe connection process using a clamping ring is used for joining small pipes in the refrigerator and air-conditioner industries instead of the brazing process, which induces inevitable thermal deformation in the pipes. However, few studies have been carried out on the process to select optimal parameters in joining pipes, and studies on the relation between the process parameters of the connection and connecting force of the joint have not been conducted. In this study, the connection process of pipes with the clamping ring was modeled using the finite element method (FEM) and analyzed to obtain the contact stress distribution between the pipes with which the connecting force of the joint was estimated. Considering the characteristics of pipe connection, the process was modeled and simulated in a two-dimensional axisymmetric solution domain. With the numerical model, the effect of ring shape on the connection was studied by adding a projection to the end of a ring or changing the length of a ring. The results of the analyses revealed that the contact stress distribution could be predicted with the suggested model. The effect of the ring shape was also presented. The effect of any combination of process parameters could be easily estimated through the related analyses.

SOI 슬롯 광도파로 기반 캐스케이드 링 공진기 바이오·케미컬 집적광학 센서의 효용성 해석 (Application Utility Analysis of Series-cascaded Ring Resonators Based on SOI Slot Optical Waveguides in Integrated Optical Biochemical Sensor)

  • This study investigated via computational analysis the application utility of series-cascaded ring resonators based on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) slot optical waveguides in integrated optical biochemical sensors. The radii of the two rings in the series-cascaded ring resonators were 59.4 ㎛ and 77.6 ㎛ respectively, and the coupling distance was 0.5 ㎛. The series-cascaded ring resonators were computationally analyzed using FIMMProp and PICWave numerical software. The free spectral range (FSR), full width at half maximum (FWHM), sensitivity, and quality-factor (Q-factor) of the series-cascaded ring resonators were 12.2 nm, 0.134 nm, 4100 nm/RIU, and 11580, respectively, and the measurement range was calculated to be slightly smaller than 3×10-3 RIU. Although the measurement range was smaller than that of the single ring resonator, upon considering other characteristic parameters, the series-cascaded ring resonators are found to be more effective as integrated sensors than single ring resonators.

FCEV용 고압 밸브 실링부의 고무재질에 따른 기밀해석 (Sealing analysis of sealing rings with respect to rubber material properties for high pressure valve of FCEV)

  • The design of sealing mechanisms of a manual pressure valve was analyzed with FE analysis for a hydrogen fuels charge and discharge system of FCEV. The damage prediction of the O-ring with respect to the material models of rubbers was calculated by the gap analysis of the backup ring and O-ring according to the internal pressure. Two kinds of the rubber material characteristic models were adopted to the O-ring. One was the linear elastic and the other was hyperelastic of Ogden $3^{rd}$ order model. The experimental data of urethane of Shore hardness 90 was utilized to the curve fitting of hyperelastic properties. It was found that the contact pattern of the backup ring was different in two models and the sealing mechanism was better in the case of the hyperelastic characteristic model.

  • This paper presents the design of an electromagnetic system such as jumping ring system, and also considers the characteristics of dynamics for system with initial parameter. For the propose of system analysis, the MATLAB tool is to solve coupled differential equations with inductances and mutual inductance. To apply a real electromagnetic system, this paper implements the jumping ring system using design parameters, and analyzes the jumping ring system with proposal step.

압축링-유막간의 접촉압력 거동에 관한 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Contact Pressure Behavior in Compression Ring-Oil Film)

  • The contact pressure behavior is examined by means of a finite element analysis. The oil film between the piston ring and cylinder liner is analyzed on the basis that it behaves like a polymer material. The calculated results indicate that a shape of sloping edge with a straight line, which is designated as a Model III, shows a good performance on the contact pressure behavior for the increased speed. Obviously, the ring face profiles play an important role on the contact pressure between compression ring and oil film.

디지털 영상 보정 기법을 이용한 이중 링 구조물의 열변형 측정 (Measurement of Thermal Deformation of a Double Ring Structure using Digital Image Correlation Technique)

  • 본 연구에서는 디지털 영상 보정 기법을 이용하여 이중 링 구조물의 열변형을 측정하였다. 이중 링 구조물은 열변형률이 상대적으로 큰 알루미늄 내부링과 열변형률이 상대적으로 작은 티타늄 외부링으로 이루어져 있다. 고온 챔버에서 링구조물을 $50^{\circ}C$부터 $200^{\circ}C$까지 가열하는 동시에 두 대의 카메라로 이중 구조물 표면의 영상을 촬영하였다. 시편의 내부링과 외부링에는 21 ${\mu}m$의 초기 간극이 있다. 이 초기 간극은 약 $80^{\circ}C$에서 접촉하게 되며 이후 같이 팽창하였다. 실험 결과를 해석과 비교하기 위하여 ANSYS를 이용한 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 디지털 영상 보정 기법을 사용하여 계측한 이중 링 구조물의 온도에 따른 변위 분포는 유한요소해석의 결과와 잘 일치하였다.

단 측벽 구속하에서 압축 및 내압을 받는 고무 오링의 설계 민감도 연구 (A Study on Design Sensitivity of Elastomeric O-ring Squeezed and Highly Pressurized Under Laterally One-sided Constrained Condition)

  • Static or dynamic elastomeric O-ring seals are installed between joining parts, and play key roles of high pressure-tightening. Sealing performance and structural safety of the O-ring are dependent on groove design, plain diameter, squeeze and applications such as pressure and temperature. In this study, to solve O-ring problem squeezed and highly pressurized under laterally one-sided constrained condition, hyperelastic FE analyses are performed, and FE results are compared with measured ones by computer-aided tomography, deformed shape and extrusion depth of the O-ring. Through the comparisons, FE analysis technique was verified. In order to evaluate design sensitivity, Taguchi method was used to select FE analysis cases. Adjustment parameters are clearance gap, groove comer radius, plain diameter and squeeze. By means of verified FE analysis technique, it has been analysed how the parameters have effects on contact stress fields, internal stress fields, and extrusion depths. Sealing performance has been evaluated based on contact stress fields and contact widths, and structural safety on internal stress and strain, extrusion lengths.

NBR and FFKM O-링시일의 접촉거동 해석에 관한 연구 (On the Contact Behavior Analysis of an O-ring Seal using NBR and FFKM)

  • The sealing performance of an elastomeric O-ring seal using NBR and FFKM has been analyzed for the contact stress behaviors that develop between the O-ring seal and the surfaces with which it comes into contact. The leakage of an O-ring seal will occur when the pressure differential across the seal just exceeds the initial (or static) peak contact stress. The contact stress behaviors that develop in compressed O-rings, in common case of restrained geometry(grooved), are investigated using the finite element method. The analysis includes material hyperelasticity and axisymmetry. The computed FEM results show that the contact stress behaviors are related to materials of NBR and FFKM and temperature of vaccum chamber.
