기마자세에 관한 고찰 (Study Of Riding Stance)

  • Objectives : Riding stance has been basic traning of chinese martial arts and Gi-gong. The aim of this study is to observe history, methods, effect of riding stance. Methods : Compare riding stances of each family of martial arts and Gi-gong. Result : 1. Since Wang, the father of Daesung-Gwon had created Chamjang-gong, riding stance becomes a independent foam of Gi-gong 2. The essential method of riding stance is Relaxing the upper body, straightening the spine and putting stress on inner side of the legs. 3. Putting stress on inner legs help relaxing upper body. 4. Riding stance is very similar to horse-back riding. 5. Relaxation must be done for effective riding stance training. Conclusions : Riding stance is necessary for stressful modern people.

지능형 헬스케어 승마로봇의 모션 메카니즘 개발 (Development of Motion Mechanisms for Health-Care Riding Robots)

  • In this research, a riding robot system named as "RideBot" is developed for health-care and entertainments. The developed riding robot can follow the intention of horseman and can simulate the motion of horse. The riding robot mechanisms are used for many functions of attitude detection, motion sensing, recognition, common interface and motion-generations. This riding robot can react on health conditions, bio-signals and intention informations of user. One of the objectives of this research is that the riding robot could catch user motion and operate spontaneous movements. In this paper, we develope the saddle mechanism which can generate 3 degrees-of-freedom riding motion based on the intention of horseman. Also, we develope reins and spur mechanism for the recognition of the horseman's intention estimation and the bio-signal monitoring system for the health care function of a horseman. In order to evaluate the performance of the riding robot system, we tested several riding motions including slow and normal step motion, left and right turn motion.

The Effects of Horse-riding Simulator Training with Dual-task on Pulmonary Function and Flexibility in Healthy Adults

  • Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of a simultaneous dual-task and horse-riding simulator (HRS) training regime on pulmonary function and flexibility. Methods: Sixteen subjects were recruited and randomly allocated to two groups: a dual-task (DT) (n=8) or a single-task (ST) (n=8) training group. Flexibility and pulmonary function were assessed before and after HRS training. Both groups underwent HRS training for 4 weeks, 3 times/week in 15-minute training sessions. The ST group underwent HRS training and the DT group underwent dual-task HRS training, which consisted of throwing and catching a ball and ring catching while HRS training. Results: Training significantly increased flexibility and FVC (forced vital capacity) and FEV1 (forced expiratory volume in 1 second) in both groups (p<0.05), but FEV1/FVC and PEF (peak expiratory flow) were not significantly different after training in both groups (p>0.05). After the training, flexibility and FVC in the DT group were significantly greater than in the ST group (p<0.05), but FEV1, FEV1/FVC, and PEF were not significantly different (p>0.05). Conclusion: Simultaneous dual-task and HRS motor training improved flexibility, FVC, and FEV1, and our comparative analysis suggests that dual-task HRS training improved flexibility and FVC more than single-task training.

승마용 헬스 케어 로봇 시스템과 신체 상태 지수 관리기술 (Development of Riding Robot System and Body State Index for Healthcare Service)

  • This paper describe the riding robot system named by "RideBot" which is a riding robot like as a horse. In order to simulate the riding motions, we develope the saddle mechanism which can generate 3 DOF motions including pitch, roll, and bounce movement, and also we controlled the riding motions and the intention of horseman. To generate the riding motions with the bodily sensation, we developed Novel Washout Filter and the algorithms for motion control. And also, we developed some health care service for the health care of horseman. A body state index was proposed that evaluates the personal health state from both the measured physiological variables and the surveyed questions. The physiological variables such as weight, blood pressure, heart rate variability (HRV), accelerated state photoplethysmograph(APG), body fat, and happiness index were measured by the specially designed bio-handle system and survey questions. The efficiency of the proposed ride robot is evaluated in the experiments.

승마재활 치료에 대한 자폐성 장애 아동 부모의 인식도 조사 (A Study on Recognition Degree of horse therapy for Autistic Disorder's parents)

  • 본 연구는 자폐성 장애 아동의 승마재활 치료에 가장 영향을 미치는 학부모의 인식은 어느 정도이며 치료효과에 대한 목적의식은 어떠한지 또한 앞으로 재활승마 치료에 대해 가지는 기대에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 자폐성 장애 아동의 부모로 100명을 연구대상으로 설문지를 연구도구로 사용하였다. 분석방법은 빈도분석(Frequency Analysis), 교차분석Chi-square Analysis)을 활용하여 각각 분석하였다. 재활승마 치료에 대한 학부모의 인지도에서 재활승마에 대한 인식이 있고, 아동이 재활승마의 경험이 없으며, 6세~10세 학부모의 응답에서 재활승마가 효과가 있을 것이라고 응답하였다. 이해도에서 재활승마는 주로 말을 타는 신체운동이고, 치료와 운동을 겸비한 전문영역으로 구체적인 도움을 주는 방법이라고 하였으며, 재활승마는 바람직하지 못한 행동을 교정 및 개선하는 방법으로 이용되고 재활기관에서 재활승마가 필요한 것으로 이해하고 있었다. 기대도에서 재활승마 치료사가 갖추어야 할 가장 중요한 요소는 치료학(작업치료, 물리치료, 언어치료) 전공자여야 한다고 나왔고, 재활승마는 개별치료, 주 2~3회가 적당하다고 하였다.

상주국제승마경기장 사업의 경제적 편익 (Estimating the benefit of constructing the international horse riding arena at Sangju)

  • 본 연구는 경상북도 상주에 건립된 국제승마경기장 건립사업의 경제적 편익을 지역에 거주하는 가구들의 지불의사액에 의해 평가한다. 평가기법으로는 양분선택형 조건부가치법 (dichotomous choice contingent valuation method; CVM)을 기초로 하되 추정의 정확성 제고를 위해 (1) 응답자가 지불의사에 대해 불확실한 경우 모르겠다고 응답할 수 있는 응답 항목을 추가하였고 (2) 제시된 금액을 지불할 의사가 없다고 응답한 응답자에게는 지불의사액이 전혀 없는지를 추가 질문하였다. 설문조사는 상주 국제승마경기장의 행정상 위치를 고려하여 경상북도와 대구광역시 거주 가구를 모집단으로 하고 일대일 개인면접 설문조사를 통해 수집되었다. 평가결과, 가구당 년 지불의사액은 1,847원으로 평가되었으며, 경상북도와 대구시 가구수를 곱하여 계산된 상주 국제승마경기장의 연간 총 편익은 35.6억원으로 평가되었다.

  • We develope a riding robot system named as "RideBot" for health-care and entertainments. An algorithm for estimating riding position and volition is proposed by using bio-signals. We analyze the riding position and volition in real-horse riding environments and build up the database. With this database and sensor informations, standard positions are made. For the volition estimation, we use the acceleration and deceleration sensor information and bridle information for direction change. We propose a hybrid control algorithm in which discrete-state and continuous-state controls are combined. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is evaluated thru various experiments.

A Study on Improvement of Horseback Riding Pants I

  • This study has investigated improvement points of existing products by analyzing problems of horseback riding pants sold in market and by investigating wearing feeling of horseback riders. The purpose of this study is to suggest horseback riding pants which fit to body types of Korean adult women and also have improved functionality by reflecting findings of the study. The contents of this study is believed to suggest useful results on improvement of horseback riding pants sold in market; (1) By visiting hands-on experiencing horseback riding facilities, questionnaire investigation was carried out and we find problems of existing horseback riding pants. (2) Materials, designs and patterns of products sold in market are analyzed for improvement of horse-riding pants appropriate for Korean adult women body types. (3) Based on the results of previous analysis, this study was investigated wearing satisfaction after manufacturing improved horseback riding pants. As results of investigating wearing feeling for products manufactured with pattern designs reflecting the analysis result of existing horseback riding clothes as well as wearing feeling of horseback riders, it was possible to prevent wounds of bodies after horseback riding and the riders expressed high satisfaction for the products manufactured based on the research results.

승마기구운동과 짐볼 운동 그리고 멕켄지 운동이 20대 만성허리통증환자의 허리통증과 정적균형에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a Horse Riding Simulator, Gym-ball and McKenzie Exercises on Back Pain and Balance in Patients with Chronic Back Pain in Their 20s)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the effects of a horse riding simulator, gym ball, and McKenzie exercises on back pain and static balance. METHODS: Among 30 participants with chronic back pain and more than 5 points of ODI, 28 participants were selected. Groups of performing either horse riding, gym ball, or McKenzie were chosen randomly to work out two times a week for six weeks. The static balance was measured using a gym plate and the degree of pain was measured by the VAS and K-ODI. RESULTS: When each exercise was applied to back pain patients, the VAS was changed in all three groups but only in the gym-ball exercise group. The K-ODI varied in all three groups but not in the gym-ball exercise group, In the anterior - posterior static balance, all three groups showed changes, but only the riding exercise group was not significant. In the left-right static balance, all three groups were significant. CONCLUSION: This study showed that six-week exercise for back pain patients was effective in improving back pain and balance ability. Continuous exercise minimizes the risk of recurrence and is effective in preventing and treating back pain.

승마 운동과 McKenzie 운동이 만성허리통증환자의 허리통증과 근활성도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of Horse riding exercise, McKenzie Exercise on back pain and muscle activity in patients with low back pain)

  • 본 연구는 승마운동, 멕켄지운동과 짐볼운동이 만성허리통증환자의 허리기능과 근활성도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 연구를 실시하였다. 연구의 대상자는 한국판 허리기능장애지수 5점 이상이고 만성허리통증을 가지는 성인 30명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 본 실험은 2020년 5월부터 6월까지 진행되었다. 대상자는 무작위로 승마운동그룹 10명, 멕켄지운동그룹 10명, 짐볼운동그룹으로 분류되어 주 3회 6주간 운동을 실시하였다. 운동 전·후 통증을 평가하기 위하여 허리기능장애지수를 사용하였으며, 허리안정화근육의 활성도를 알아보기 위하여 표면근전도 장비를 사용하였다. 또한 그룹 내 운동 전·후의 변화를 검증을 위하여 대응 t-검정을 실시하고, 세 그룹 간 운동 전·후 변화의 차이를 검증하기 위하여 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 허리기능장애지수와 근활성도 변화에서 그룹 내 운동 전·후의 변화와 그룹 간 유의한 변화를 나타내었다(p<.05). 승마운동과 멕켄지 운동이 모두 만성허리통증환자의 통증으로 인한 허리기능장애와 허리부의 안정화에 효과적인 운동방법으로 제시할 수 있을 것이다.
