  • The TRIP behavior in tensile deformation of retained austenite formed by reverse transformation treatment in 0.15%C-6%Mn-(Ti, Nb) steels has been investigated. The shape of retained austenite was almost a fine lath type with $0.1{\sim}0.3{\mu}m$ width and the two distinctly different transformation sequences of retained austenite, i) retained austenite${\rightarrow}$martensite and ii) retained austenite${\rightarrow}$deformation twin${\rightarrow}$martensite were revealed. The strength-elongation combination was increased with increasing the holdig time at low temperatures ($625^{\circ}C$) but decreased abruptly with increasing holding time at high temperatures ($675^{\circ}C$), owing to the lowering of ductility. The strength-elongation combination and TRIP effect was lower in tensile deformation in the range of $100{\sim}250^{\circ}C$ than room temperature. The tensile strengh and elongation of a reverse transformed steels with addition of Ti or Nb was 93kg/, 40% respectively, which is higher over 10% of strength without ductility loss than in 0.15%C-6%Mn steels.

  • In this paper, we present a model-driven approach for RTOS-based embedded software development and an automated tool that produces RTOS-specific code or RTOS-independent code. We define generic RTOS APIs (Application Programming Interface) that are not bound to any specific RTOS but provide most of typical RTOS services. Generic RTOS APIs can be used to describe application's RTOS-related behavior, The proposed API translator translates task code between C-code for specific RTOS and intermediate code using generic API. Also, the result can be extended to other RTOS's modifying XML transformation rule.

  • Shape memory alloys(SMAs) exhibit pseudoelastic behavior, characterized by the recovery of an original shape even after severe deformation, during loading and unloading within appropriate temperature regimes. The distinctive mechanical behavior is associated with stress-induced transformation of austenite to martensite during loading and reverse transformation to austenite upon unloading. To develop a material model for SMAs, it is imperative to consider the difference in moduli of active phases. For example, the Young’s modulus of the martensite is one-third to one half of that of the austenite. The model proposed herein is a modification of the one proposed recently by Ho[17]. The prediction of the behavior of SMAs during unloading before the onset of reverse transformation was improved by introducing a new internal state variable incorporating the variation of the elastic modulus.

  • XML is becoming a de facto standard for the representation and exchange of data, and XML itself is well structured to store and manage data, but it is difficult to understand the document structure at a glance due to its diverse and complex expressions. Thus, it is not appropriate to use it as a tool of conceptual model. In this paper, we propose a method to transform XML schema document structure into conceptual model. To do this, we describe CMXML as a conceptual modeling tool and present transformation rules and data structures for transforming an XML schema structure into CMXML diagram. In the transformation procedure, the XML schema document is input and the CMXML diagram is generated by applying the transformation rules.

  • In this paper the effect of interstitial heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties was examined both in the 0.15C-6Mn steels and 0.15C-6Mn steels added with Nb or Ti. This result will be applied into the development of a steel which has the properties of high strength and high ductility resulted from the transformation induced plasticity. The strength-elongation combination was increased as the holding time was increased when the temperature is at $625^{\circ}C$. However, the strength-elongation combination was decreased sharply as the holding time was increased when the temperature is at $675^{\circ}C$. The tensile strength and elongation of a reverse transformed steels added with Ti or Nb was 93 kg/$\textrm{mm}^2$ and 40%, respectively. This steel shows higher strength more than 10% of the 0.15C-6Mn steel without loss of ductility. The autenite formed from the reverse transformed treatment has a fine lath type, which has the width size of 0.1-0.3 $\mu\textrm{m}$. The TRIP sequence normally transforms the austenite to martensite, however, some of the sequence will produce retained austenite \longrightarrow deformation twin \longrightarrow martensite

  • To reconstruct the complete 3-D shape of an object, seveal range images form different viewpoints should be merged into a single model. The process of extraction of the transformation parameters between multiple range views is calle dregistration. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to find the transformation parameters between multiple range views. Th eproposed algorithm consists of two step: initial estimation and iteratively update the transformation. To guess the initial transformation, we modify the principal axes by considering the projection effect, due to the difference fo viewpoints. Then, the following process is iterated: in order to extract the exact transformation parameters between the range views: For every point of the common region, find the nearest point among the neighborhood of the current corresponding point whose correspondency is defined by the reverse calibration of the range finder. Then, update the transformation to satisfy the new correspondencies. In order to evaluate the performance the proposed registration algorithm, some experiments are performed on real range data, acquired by space encoding range finder. The experimental results show that the proposed initial estimation accelerate the following iterative registration step.

  • This research was performed to investigate the transformation behavior and shape memory effect of Cu-13.5Al-4.5Ni(wt%) alloy with various aging temperature and time. The results obtained in this study are as follows: Transformation temperature was very increased when aging temperature is at $250^{\circ}C$. The variation of transformation temperature in first reverse transformation cycle and second was very significant, but there was little difference in case of 2nd and 3rd. Transformation temperature at various aging temperature was increased with increasing of aging temperature and time. Microvickers hardness was increased with increasing of aging temperature and time. It was found that ${\alpha}$ and ${\gamma}_2$ phase were created by aging of long time at high temperature.

  • The aim of this research is to develop the TRIP aided high strength low carbon steels using reverse transformation process. The $4\~8\%$ Mn steel sheets were reversely transformed by slow heating to intercritical temperature region and furnace cooling to room temperature. The stability of retained austenite depends on the enrichment of carbon and manganese by diffusion during the reverse transformation. The amount of retained austenite formed after reversely transformed at $625^{\circ}C$ for 6 hrs was about $50\;vol.\%$ in the $8\%Mn$ steel. The change in volume fraction of retained austenite with a holding temperature was consistent with the changes in elongation and the strength-ductility combination. The maximum strength-ductility combination of 40,000 $MPa{\cdot}\%$ was obtained when the $8\%Mn$ steel reversely transformed at $625^{\circ}C$ for 12 hrs. However, it's property was significantly decreased at higher holding temperature of $675^{\circ}C$ resulting from the decrease of ductility.

  • This research was examined the effect of intercritical heat treatment on the mechanical Properties and retained austenite formation in 0.1C-6.5Mn steels for the development of a high strength high ductility steel. using of transformation induced plasticity due to retained austenite. The stability of retained austenite is very important for the good ductility and it depend on diffusion of carbon and manganese during reverse transformation. It is effective to heat treat at$ 645^{\circ}C$ in order to obtain over 30 vol.% of retained austenite. However, it is more desirable to heat treat at $620^{\circ}C$, considering the volume fraction and mechanical stability of retained austenite. The strength-elongation combination in cold rolled steel sheets after reverse transformed at $620^{\circ}C$ for 1hr was about 4000k9/mm7, but it decreased rapidly with increasing holding time at high temperature due to the decrease of ductility. The addition of 1.1%Si in 0.14C-6.5Mn TRIP steel does not improve the mechanical properties and retained austenite formation.

  • In this a set of constitutive equation relevant to the analysis of thermo-elasto-plastic materials with phase transformation during quenching process was presented on the basis of continuum thermo-dynamic. In calculating the transient thermal stresses, temperature between coolant and specimen(SM45C) surface was determined from the heat transfer coefficient. A calculation was made for specimen with 40mm in diameter quenched in coolant from $820^{\circ}C$ and the results are as follow. Stresses at starting point of transformation always show the maximum tensile value. Reverse of stresses takes place after completion of transformation of inner part at specimen.
