Crashworthiness design is of special interest in automotive industry and in the transportation safety field to ensure the vehicle structural integrity and more importantly the occupant safety in the event of the crash. Front side assembly is one of the most important energy absorbing components in relating to the crashworthiness design of vehicle. The structure and shape of the front side assemblies are different depending on auto-makers and size of vehicles. Thus, it is not easy to grab an insight on designer's intention when you glance at a new front side member without experiences. In this paper, we have performed the explicit nonlinear dynamic finite element analysis on the front side assembly of passenger cars to identify the mechanical roles of major parts in relation to collapse modes from the viewpoint of reverse engineering. To do this, we have performed crash FE analysis for the two different assemblies of small car and heavy passenger car and have compared dynamic behaviors of the two.

This paper analyzes a new method for reducing boiling water reactor fuel temperature during a Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA). The method uses a device called Reverse Flow Restriction Device (RFRD) at the inlet of fuel bundles in the core to prevent coolant loss from the bundle inlet due to the reverse flow after a large break in the recirculation loop. The device allows for flow in the forward direction which occurs during normal operation, while after the break, the RFRD device changes its status to prevent reverse flow. In this paper, a detailed simulation of LOCA has been carried out using the U.S. NRC's TRACE code to investigate the effect of RFRD on the flow rate as well as peak clad temperature of BWR fuel bundles during three different LOCA scenarios: small break LOCA (25% LOCA), large break LOCA (100% LOCA), and double-ended guillotine break (200% LOCA). The results demonstrated that the device could substantially block flow reversal in fuel bundles during LOCA, allowing for coolant to remain in the core during the coolant blowdown phase. The device can retain additional cooling water after activating the emergency systems, which maintains the peak clad temperature at lower levels. Moreover, the RFRD achieved the reflood phase (when the saturation temperature of the clad is restored) earlier than without the RFRD.
Purpose: This research adopts the SERVQUAL and LSQ frameworks to examine the correlation between return reverse logistics service quality of the JD platform and customer satisfaction, as well as the linkage between consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention. Research design, data and methodology: A comprehensive literature review on both domestic and international logistics service quality has been conducted. Considering the unique aspects of JD's return reverse logistics services, an evaluation framework with 5 dimensions and 21 indicators is formulated, including communication, information, return process, empathy, and convenience. A conceptual model exploring the influence of JD's reverse logistics service quality on customer repurchase intention is developed, proposing six hypotheses. For this investigation, 358 valid questionnaires were collected, processed, and analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The structural equation modeling was conducted and validated through AMOS 21.0 software. Results: Following a thorough analysis of data, it reveals that: (1) Information quality, return process quality, and empathy significantly enhance customer satisfaction. (2) Customer satisfaction positively impacts repurchase intention. Conclusion: Based on these findings, three strategic recommendations are offered for e-commerce platforms with in-house logistics systems. The research also discusses limitations and future research directions.

The fact-revealing analysis was conducted through surveys based on theoretical consideration and advanced researches, which has drawn a range of findings. As the results of this study, the important findings concerning the improvement on the activation of practical housing reverse mortgages are applicable to all real estate, diversifying the tax benefits, and deregulation of 1 house, etc. and findings concerning the improvement to activate mortgage loans are diversifying types of interest rates, diversifying types of repayment, tax benefits for less than 15 years maturity period, and granting benefits(low interest rates, higher loan limits) to low-income households, etc. This study has a significance for providing basic materials in order to accomplish advanced finance policies along with social welfare services as suggesting measures to improve and activate real estate financing through the findings out of the fact-revealing analysis conducted as above.
The preparation of $Y_2O_3$-doped $ZrO_2$ nanoparticles in Igepal CO-520/cyclohexane reverse micelle solutions is studied here. In this work, we synthesized nanosized $Y_2O_3$-doped $ZrO_2$ powders in a reverse micelle process using aqueous ammonia as the precipitant. In this way, a hydroxide precursor was obtained from nitrate solutions dispersed in the nanosized aqueous domains of a microemulsion consisting of cyclohexane as the oil phase, with poly (oxyethylene) nonylphenylether (Igepal CO-520) as the non-ionic surfactant. The synthesized and calcined powders were characterized by thermogravimetrydifferential thermal analysis (TGA-DTA), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The crystallite size was found to nearly identical with an increase in the water-to-surfactant (R) molar ratio. A FTIR analysis was carried to monitor the elimination of residual oil and surfactant phases from the microemulsion-derived precursor and the calcined powder. The average particle size and distribution of the synthesized $Y_2O_3$-doped $ZrO_2$ were below 5 nm and narrow, respectively. The TG-DTA analysis showed that the phase of the $Y_2O_3$-doped $ZrO_2$ nanoparticles changes from the monoclinic phase to the tetragonal phase at temperatures close to $530^{\circ}C$. The phase of the synthesized $Y_2O_3$-doped $ZrO_2$ when heated to $600^{\circ}C$ was tetragonal $ZrO_2$.

3D laser scanning can be used for scanning the freeform surface and building a model from which the measurements could be taken, in order to solve the difficulty with getting access to the exact freeform shape and position data of the complex building envelope. The shape making process using 3D scanning is as follows: point cloud, mesh surface segmentation, NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-spline) surface generation, and parametric solid model generation. In this research, we review previous studies, reverse engineering notion, importance of reverse engineering usage for freeform envelope, and previous cases in order to identify the detail reverse engineering process for prefabrication and construction of freeform panels using 3D laser scanning technology. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to present a basic information which should be considered during design and construction phase and improve quality and constructibility of freeform building by analyzing the reverse engineering process and case study for prefabrication and construction of freeform panels using 3D laser scanning. The research results will enable 3D shape engineering and design parameterization using reverse engineering to be used in various construction projects.

This study proposes a novel reverse N-Gram approach to overcome the limitations of traditional N-Gram methods and enhance performance in building an entity dictionary specialized for the healthcare sector. The proposed reverse N-Gram technique allows for more precise analysis and processing of the complex linguistic features of healthcare-related big data. To verify the efficiency of the proposed method, big data on healthcare and digital health announced during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held each January was collected. Using the Python programming language, 2,185 news titles and summaries mentioned from January 1 to 31 in 2010 and from January 1 to 31 in 2024 were preprocessed with the new reverse N-Gram method. This resulted in the stable construction of a dictionary for natural language processing in the healthcare field.

Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is associated with the rapid development of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. It has been reported that the amount of HCV RNA may be correlated with the progression of hepatitis and may be a prognostic marker for treatment of HCV patients. The direct detection of HCV RNA by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is widely used to determine the presence of circulating virions. The most relevant limit of this approach is the lack of quantitative information about the viral titer. In the present study, we developed the method for HCV quantitation using competitive reverse transcription (CRT)-PCR using the deleted HCV standard. The serially diluted standard was added in titrated amounts to the target HCV RNA. The mixture was then reverse transcribed and amplified in the same reaction tube. The methods were evaluated using over 110 HCV-PCR positive samples in Koreans. About 59% of the samples were judged to contain $10^{5}-10^{6}$ copies of HCV RNA in 1 ml of serum.

During hot pipe bending using induction heating, the wall of bending outside is thinned by tensile stress. In design requirement, the reduction of wall thickness is not allowed to exceed 12.5%. So in this study, two methods of bending, one is loading of reverse moment and the other is loading of temperature gradient, have been investigated to design pipe bending process that satisfy design requirements. For this purpose, finite element analysis with a bending radius 2Do(outer diameter of pipe) has been performed to calculate proper reverse moment and temperature gradient to be applied. Induction heating process has been analyzed to estimate influence of heating process parameters on heating characteristic by finite difference method. Then pipe bending experiments have been performed for verification of finite element and finite difference analysis results. Experimental results are in good agreement with the results of simulations.
