Purpose: The no-contact and economic downturn caused by COVID-19 have further grown the used market. The second-hand trading industry has established itself as a popular consumption culture, leading to exponential growth in the size of the market. This study aims to identify the types of shopping motivation for used products targeting Korean consumers, and to examine the relationship between shopping motivations for second-hand transactions, consumption values, and re-use intentions. Research design, data and methodology: The first study was conducted on 63 used trading platform users and the second study was conducted on 441 used trading platform users to identify the types of consumers' motivation for shopping for used products. Results: As a result of the first study, the shopping motivation types of Korean used product consumers were classified into convenience motivation, economic motivation, hedonistic motivation, information Acquisition motivation, and free time utilization motivation. As a result of the second study, it was found that convenience motivation had the greatest influence on functional values and hedonic motivation had the greatest influence on emotional values, and that functional values had a great influence on platform reuse intentions. Conclusions: This study provides practical implications for the establishment of marketing strategies for used trading platforms and academic implications for research related to used trading.
Product line engineering(PLE) is one of the recent and effective reuse approaches that enables developing a number of applications by instantiating a core asset. Elements of a core asset are product line architecture(PLA), component, and decision model. Among these elements, PLA is the key element since it defines the overall structure of the core asset. Although numerous PLE methodologies have been introduced, it is still unclear what should be the elements of a PLA and how to systematically instantiate it for specific applications. Formal specifications can play a key role in defining detailed and precise instantiation process. In this paper, we first present a meta model of PLA and show how to specify PLA in a formal language, Object-Z. Then, we propose instantiation rules using formal specification and those rules precisely define constraints for instantiating PLA. By applying the proposed formal specification, we believe PLA instantiation can be carried out precisely and correctly, yielding high quality software development.
In a software product line approach, developers first develop common software architecture and components by analyzing the characteristics of all software members, and then produce each application by integrating components. The approach is considered very effective means for developing and maintaining in parallel a software product family. Main disadvantage of this approach is that it requires a big up-front investment in preparing product line. Therefore, it takes time to deliver the first version. In this paper, we present an incremental method to develop software families, which requires small additional cost for initial versions and allows an organization to move smoothly to full-scale product line. We present our method by explaining how to record and upgrade the results of variations analysis, and show the application of our method by developing a family of YBS. Our method is a low-risk approach that can be effectively applied to an organization that starts developing software systems but has to deliver the first versions quickly to the market.
Product Line Engineering (PLE) has been widely accepted as a representative software reuse methodology by using core assets. As a key element of core assets, product line architecture (PLA) should be generic to a set of applications in the product line (PL). However, the difference between PLA and single system architecture has not been treated well enough, so evaluating PLA still remains as one of the difficult tasks in PLE. In this paper, we identify two intrinsic but overlooked issues in PLA; variability propagation chain and conflicts between architectural elements. And, we present a metric-based methodto evaluate PLA from the perspective of the two issues. We believe that the two issues in PLA and the evaluation method would make designing high-quality PLA more feasible and effective.
Software development creates many product that class components, Class Diagram, form, object, and design pattern. So this Paper suggests Index/XML Sequence Relation information system for product abstraction and classification, the system of design product Sequence Relation abstraction which can store, reuse design patterns in the meta modeling database with pattern Relation information. This is Index/XML Sequence Relation system which can easily change various relation information of product for product abstraction and classification. This system designed to extract and classify design pattern efficiently and then functional indexing, sequence base indexing for standard pattern, code indexing to change pattern into code and grouping by Index-ID code, and its role information can apply by structural extraction and design pattern indexing process. and it has managed various products, class item, diagram, forms, components and design pattern.
This project addresses the product identification and design application of corrugated products for kinetic architectural applications. Initially, an architectural approach to product identification was carried out with the end goal of demonstrating application design principles of numerous novel architectural examples from the forest products industry. A design and prototyping stage followed demonstrating such application design principles and functional analysis on various novel architectural examples. The results of coupling product identification with proven application advantages will be of potential value not only to architecture but also to other designers in the arts and sciences. The general motivation for the research arises out of a growing interest corrugated and paper products to be ideally suited for various architectural applications for their unparallel environmental benefits. Applications in architecture that use fewer resources and that adapt efficiently to complex and changing conditions are particularly relevant for an industry (architecture) that is increasingly aware of its environmental responsibilities. Corrugated and paper products are highly under-utilized by the building industry as design choice material for both interior and exterior applications. An increased awareness of the benefits of corrugated and paper products coupled with a process of designing for the total use and reuse will prove to be a valuable means by which issues of energy efficiency and environmental quality of buildings could be enhanced to be more efficient, affordable, and therefore reach a broader audience of users.
Software product lines are to attain the rapid development of qualify applications by concretizing the general components populated in software assets and assembling them according to the predefined architectures. For supporting the construction of the software product lines, this paper proposes a component code generation techniques based on GenVoca architecture and XML/XSLT technologies, In addition, CompGenX(Component Generator using XML), a component code generation system, is proposed on the basis of this techniques. By providing reconfigurability of component at the time of code generation, CompGenX allows the reusers to create the component source code that is appropriate to their purpose, In this system, the process of the component development is divided into two tasks which are the component family construction task and the component reuse task, For the component family construction, CompGenX provides the feature modeling tool for domain analysis and the domain architecture definition tool. Also, it provides the tool for building the component configuration know1edge specification and the code templates, For the component reuse task, it offers the component family search tool. the component customizing tool and the component code generator. Component code generation techniques and system in this paper should be applicable as basic technology to build the component-based software product lines.
Software product line engineering is a method that prepares for the future reuse and supports to seamless reuse in application development process. Commonality and variability play central roles in all product line development processes. Reusable assets will become core assets by explicitly representing C&V. Indeed, the variabilities that art identified at each phase of core assets development have different levels of abstraction. In the past, these variabilities have been handled in an implicit manner and without distinguishing the characteristics of each core assets. In addition, previous approaches have depended on the experience and intuition of a domain expert to recognize commonality and variability. In this paper, we suggest a 2-dimensional analyzing method that analyzes the variabilities of core assets in software product line. In horizontal analysis process, the variation types are analyzed in requirements, architecture, and component that are produced at each phase of development process. In vertical analysis process, variations are analyzed in different abstract levels, in which the region of commonality is identified and the variation points are refined. By this method, the traceability of variations between core assets will be possible and core assets can be reused seamlessly.
Software Product Line (SPL) is a software development paradigm that guarantees high productivity, reduced cost, and shorter time-to-market by systematically planning and reusing commonality and variability. In order to maximize the benefits of SPL engineering, testing should be integrated into the SPL engineering lifecycle processes that consist of domain engineering and application engineering and should be performed with as little test efforts as possible. This paper proposes a systematic software product line test cases derivation method using combinatorial test design. By applying combinatorial test design to product line test cases derivation and exploiting commonality between products at the same time, the number of generated test cases is dramatically reduced with the result that they can be effectively reused by the products of the given product line. Case studies conducted in this paper show the efficacy of our method compared with other methods that use only commonality or combinatorial design or neither of them in terms of the number of derived test cases.

As information technology advances, the penetration of smart devices connected to the Internet, such as smart phone and tablet PC, has rapidly expanded, and as sensor prices have fallen the Internet of Things has begun to be introduced in the industry. Today's industry is rapidly changing and evolving, requiring companies to respond to the new paradigm of business. In this situation, companies need to actively manage and maintain customer relationships in order to acquire loyal customers who bring them a high return. The purpose of this study is to suggest a method to manage customer relationship using real time IoT data including IoT product usage data, customer characteristics and transaction data. This study proposes a method of segmenting customers through RFM analysis and transition index analysis. In addition, a real-time monitoring through control charts is used to identify abnormalities in product use and suggest ways of differentiating marketing for each group. In the study, 44 samples were classified as 9 churn customers, 10 potential customers, and 25 active customers. This study suggested ways to induce active customers by providing after-sales benefit for product reuse to a group of churn customers and to promote the advantages or necessity of using the product by setting the goal of increasing the frequency of use to a group of potential customers. Finally, since the active customer group is a loyal customer, this study proposed an one-on-one marketing to improve product satisfaction.
