마케팅과 풍수지리에 관한 고찰 (A study on the Marketing and Feng-Shui)

  • 일반적으로 풍수라고 하면 대부분의 사람들이 묏자리를 잡는 기술쯤으로 그것도 부모 산소를 잘 쓰면 후손이 잘 될 것이라는 철저히 이기적인 측면의 사고방식에서 비롯된 편협된 시각이 주를 이루어, 이러한 왜곡된 풍수가 신앙이상의 차원에서 신봉되어 왔다. 그러나 최근에 이르러 건축학과 조경학 그리고 인테리어 등의 분야에서 풍수이론이 활용되면서 이에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 점포의 입지를 결정하기 위해서는 입점 예정지를 분석해야 한다. 보통 상권분석을 실시하여 시장잠재력의 크기만을 측정하게 된다. 그러나 이러한 시장잠재력의 크기만으로는 점포위치에 대한 충분한 해답을 줄 수 없다는 것이 논자의 주장이며 상권분석을 통한 시장잠재력의 크기와 병행하여 동양 사상인 풍수지리의 이론을 결합하여 좋은 기(에너지)를 받을 수 있는 점포위치가 선정 되어야 한다는 것이다. 본 논문은 이러한 시도의 출발점이다. 향후 보다 과학적이고 체계적이며 통계적으로 유의한 실증적 분석의 연구가 진행 되어야 할 것이다.

The Growth Strategy of Retail Companies: Focusing on New Stores Expansion of E-mart

  • Purpose - Retail companies are turning from one type of retailer to multiple business categories through various reasons, such as taking advantage of existed types of retailers' channel distribution, information and know-how, and entering into new types of retailers. However, there is few research conducted about multiple type of retailers. Research design, data, and methodology - In this research, the references, data and new stores on E-mart will be collected. The dissertation, annual report, statistical data, land-book of E-mart will be also collected to confirm whether E-mart has made any acquisition towards another company. Results - There is a tendency to new stores expansion, store enlargement and prolonging the opening preparation of new stores, based on the core of new stores expansion of E-mart as a general supermarket type of retailers. Based on general supermarket type of retailers, E-mart begins to diversify its retail company's type of retailers. Conclusions - As a general supermarket which is the most important type of retailers, E-mart is expanding into SSM type of retailers to seek new power of growth while slowdown growth is shown in general supermarket type of retailers. The expansion into SSM type of retailers would be a wise option as a retail company, E-mart is able to keep growing in the future.

A Study on Unfairness of Customers according to New Management Strategy at Polarization of Retail Business

  • The study examined effects of psychological change of distribution environment upon commercial areas to investigate consumers' experience and theory and to suggest power of new management strategy for growth of retailers A The study investigated actual conditions of business transaction of hyper market by blind interview. In April, 2016, the author visited 6 manufacturers to do depth interview. The questionnaire between food manufacturers and hyper market investigated the Association of Food Industries in Korea, NH Nonghyup and large manufacturers in July 2012. Questionnaires of 25 companies were used after excluding questionnaire having poor and inadequate answers. The sales commission with large scaled distribution business decreased (0.3 ~ 0.7) to increase additional expenses such as number of salesmen, interior expenses and economic costs (0.7 ~ 40%). (source: Fair Trade Commission). Fair Trade Commission released types and notice of unfair trade of large scaled retail business based on monopoly regulation and fair trade (hereinafter called 'notice of large scaled retail) to prevent large scaled distribution business from doing unfair trade. The notice controled unfair trade at different position between large scaled distribution business and small vendors.

The Psychological Impact of Comparing Mind in Designs of Retail Stores, Products, and Advertising

  • Purpose: This study investigates the psychological mechanisms of comparison within the design context of retail stores, products, and advertising. The research aims to expand the understanding of comparison psychology, encompassing social, cognitive, perceptual, and self-comparisons and their application in design practices. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: The study employs a comprehensive review of psychological theories related to comparison psychology. They were selected through extensive research on literature pertaining to design psychology and consumer behavior. The research integrates insights from psychology, marketing, consumer behavior, and design theory, supported by various design examples of retail stores, products, and advertising, to demonstrate the practical applications. Results: The findings reveal that comparison psychology significantly impacts consumer preferences and user experiences. For instance, the assimilation effect and prospect theory highlight how comparisons shape value judgments and design perceptions. Practical examples are used to illustrate the profound influence of comparative judgments in design. Conclusion: The study advocates for a "psychologically-informed approach" to design, promoting designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing and functionally sound but also psychologically aligned. By bridging the gap between psychological theories and practical design implementations, the research provides valuable insights for designers, marketers, and psychologists, enhancing the psychological efficacy of design.

정부의 전통시장 지원 정책 효과에 대한 실증연구 (The Policy Effects on Traditional Retail Markets Supported by the Korean Government)

  • Purpose - A traditional retail market is a place that offers economic opportunity to employees and employers alike it also is a place where the community can meet. The Korean government has invested three trillion won to improve physical and non-physical aspects in traditional retail markets since 2004. However, little research on this has been conducted. We explore this research gap that could lead to theory extension. We analyze consumption behavior with respect to traditional retail markets through an empirical analysis, thus overcoming limits in previous research. We empirically analyze policy effects of traditional retail market projects supported by the Korean government. Research design, data, and methodology - We propose a traditional retail market improvement plan via the relation between cause and effect resulting from the analysis. More specifically, logit analysis was carried out with 1,754 consumers in 16 cities nationwide. In order to analyze consumer consumption behaviors nationwide, the probability was analyzed using a logit model. This research analyzes the link between support and non-support by the Korean government using binary values. The dependent variable is whether Korean government support is implemented; the binomial logistic regression is used as the statistical estimation technique. The object variables are:1 (support) or 0 (nonsupport), and the prediction value is between 1 and 0. As a result of the factor analysis of questions related to attributes of service quality, four factors were extracted: convenience, product, facilities, and service. Results - The results indicate that convenience, product, and facilities have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction in accordance with the government's traditional retail market support. Additionally, the results reveal that convenience, product, facilities, and service all have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction in a traditional retail market's service quality and consumer satisfaction. Finally, the analysis indicates that the highly satisfied traditional retail market customer has a significant influence on revisit intention. Moreover, the results reveal that the highly satisfied traditional retail market customer has a significant influence on recommendation intention. Conclusions - This research focused on consumers nationwide to measure policy effects of traditional retail markets compared to previous research that focused on one traditional retail market or a specific area. We verified the relationship of service quality and customer satisfaction and consumer behavior based on service quality theory. The results indicate that consumer satisfaction of traditional retail markets supported by service quality factors has a significant impact. In a concrete form, the results indicate that these effects are from facility modernization projects and marketing support projects of the Korean government. The results also imply that these facility and management support effects from the Korean government have been consistent. We realize that the Korean government has to selectively support traditional retail markets in major cities and small and medium-sized cities. To that end, the Korean government needs to select a concentration strategy for the revitalization of traditional retail markets.

혁신적인 소매업태의 출현과 발전과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Emergence of Innovative Retailing and Its Development Process)

  • 우리나라 대부분의 소매업태가 성장 또는 성숙단계에 머물고 있는 현재, 어떤 혁신적인 소매업태가 새로 출현하고 발전해 갈 것인가? 그리고 그 혁신적인 소매업태가 출현하고 발전해 갈 성장동력은 무엇인가? 본 연구는 이러한 문제인식에 근거하여 소매업태의 차별화경쟁과 소비자선택과의 상호행동을 연동하여 논의할 수 있는 소비자선택모델을 구축하여 혁신적인 소매업태의 출현과 발전과정을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구에서의 분석결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 소매시장에서 새로운 진공지대가 발생하면 그곳에 저가격·저서비스 또는 고가격·고서비스의 혁신적인 소매업태가 출현한다. 둘째, 진공지대에서 신규업태의 수가 많아지면 신규업태간의 수평적 경쟁이 야기되고, 이를 통해 각 신규업태는 격올림을 전개한다. 셋째, 신규업태가 격올림을 전개하면 신규업태와 기존업태간의 이업태간 경쟁이 야기되고, 이 경쟁에서 기존업태와 신규업태간의 동화과정이 전개된다. 넷째, 각 소매업태는 기존의 유통기술 프론티어를 돌파하기 위해 유통혁신을 추진하게 되고, 다른 소매업태는 그 혁신자를 추종한다. 위에서 언급한 분석결과를 근거로 하여 본 연구에서는 세가지 시사점을 제언할 수 있다. 첫째, 본 연구는 소매업태가 차별화전략을 추진할 때 사용되는 점포 속성에 대한 소비자의 의사결정과정구도에 대응하면서 최종적으로는 시장점유율의 변화와도 연동하여 논의할 수 있는 소비자선택모델을 구축하였다는 점이다. 둘째, 본 연구는 이러한 소비자선택모델을 토대로 혁신적인 소매업태의 출현과 발전과정에 대한 분석을 보다 정교한 논리 구조에 입각해서 설명하였다는 점이다. 셋째, 본 연구에서의 논의한 소매업태의 발전과정은 시장에서 경쟁우위를 획득하기 위해서 소매업태가 소매믹스를 어떻게 전개할 것인지에 대한 소매업자의 경영관리 측면에서의 해법을 제시하였다는 점이다.

  • In the modern market economy, where the consumers are increasingly seeking pleasure rather than convenience, a variety of retailers are making every effort to promote sales records. In order to achieve this goal, the division of work needs to be effectively performed and the allied enterprises need to cooperate with each other. Consequently, the Customer Relationship Management(CRM) system should be established through the research and analysis on brands and consumers. It is also necessary that the enterprises should cooperate mutually, using the PRM system which makes it possible to share the information from the CRM system. This report is going to propose a desirable cooperation which is reguaired in Retail Shop Design. And it will be done by describing the relation between CRM & PRM and the marketing based on brands and consumers.ere it examines closely the vibrating unit of the elevator and propose the countermeasure of it.

소매점 유형별 서비스 마케팅 전략에 관한 연구

  • The marketing environment around the Korean retail stores is becoming increasingly voltage due to the recent changes in the marketplace. These changes are not only offering business opportunities but also posing competitive threats for many retailers these days. The key to survival and growth of these retail stores lies in developing and delivering quality services. This article reports the findings of a field survey which measured customers current perceptions of six different types of stores in terms of various service dimensions. The store types examined in the study were: traditional markets, department stores, shopping centers$.$supermarkets, convenience stores, discount stores, and membership wholesale clubs. The study also makes an attempt to determine service dimensions which have significant impact on customer perceptions across different store types. By analyzing the gap between how stores are perceived and how they should be perceived, the article discusses and suggests strategic directions for each type of retail stores.

유통시장의 플래그십 스토어 트렌드: 현황을 통한 고찰 (Flagship Store Trends in the Retail Market: Exploring the Characteristics)

  • Flagship store opening is one of the most frequently reported retail news in which it is widely used to promote a new store opening. The purpose of this study was to explore the flagship stores on media reports. Flagship store cases were collected from the news article database of the largest internet portal in Korea. A total of 210 cases were collected and content-analyzed. Though various business types of flagship stores were observed, most were in fashion. The most common characteristic of the flagship cases was the location of the prime sites in a metropolitan city. Global luxury and designer fashion brands met most characteristics, but many flagship stores were not more than a brand-owned store. The flagship store term is emphasized with dramatic expressions and various promotional events for media interests and in turn for marketing communication effect.

인터넷 쇼퍼의 지각과 불평행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Internet Shopper's Perception and Complaining Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study is to supply basic marketing information and establish effective marketing strategy of internet retail stores, by analyzing internet shopper's perception and complaining behavior. To accomplish this study objective, 172 individuals were selected and surveyed with questionnaire method. The result of empirical analysis is summarized as follows. There were significant differences between consumer types and consumer's perception of internet shopping for price, variety of product, fitness, interest, return policy. And there were statistically significant differences in the types of complaining behavior by consumer types.
