아시안 룩의 탈중심화 현상과 그 기법에 대한 연구 (An Investigation of the Phenomenon of the Decentralization of the Asian Look and its Method)

  • Decentralization is an effort to liberalize people from its character of neutralizing or restraining people while indwelling in the previous thought system. Decentralization in fashion is one of the phenomenon of post-modernism fashion, and it is closely related to de-culturalism, crossover, abolition of rank, and etc, and it is in line with Asian look which includes orientalism fashion. The study intends to consider the Phenomenon of Decentralization of Asian Look and its Method depicted in the western fashion. The study focuses on documentary data, and the it is held with the basis of Asian look shown in western fashion. If ideology which influenced the formation of folk costume of Asia, Asian look is the dissolution of such ideology, and post-modern amusement is substituting it. The most conspicuous characteristic of decentralization phenomena of Asian look is pastiche which is a combination and reallocation of external style of many cultural zones and many folk costumes, and it shows mutual irrelevance, and it is a neutral imitation which has internal meaning and humor disappeared. Also, Asian look shows characteristics of parody and irony, which are reversal characteristics of aesthetic value which is expressed through methods of addition, modification, distortion, exaggeration, inversion, dissolution, and etc. Parody which is expressed through imitation regarding previous style shows effect of humor or satire, but its characteristics show that it expresses respect or admiration regarding the original The method of irony is showing sarcasm with ironical method regarding the peculiar style of Asian folk costume, and it pursues unexpected shock and joy, and it is closely related to orientalism fashion. Expansion and constancy of Asian look reflects the interest regarding folk of Asia and Asia, and it is a movement which intends new attempt by abolishing stereotype, and furthermore, it is expressing liberty of humans.

조합형 고정점 알고리즘에 의한 신경망 기반 독립성분분석 (Independent Component Analysis Based on Neural Networks Using Hybrid Fixed-Point Algorithm)

  • 본 연구에서는 신경망 기반 독립성분분석의 분리성능을 개선하기 위해 할선법과 모멘트의 조합형 고정점 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 할선법은 독립성분 상호간의 정보를 최소화하는 목적함수의 근을 근사적으로 구함으로써 계산과정을 단순화하여 좀 더 개선된 분리성능을 얻기 위함이고, 모멘트는 계산과정에서 발생하는 발진을 억제하여 보다 빠른 분리속도를 얻기 위함이다. 이렇게 하면 할선법이 가지는 근사성에 따른 우수성과 과거의 속성을 반영하여 발진을 억제하는 모멘트의 우수성을 동시에 살릴 수 있다. 제안된 알고리즘을 $256\times{256}$ 픽셀의 8개 지문과 $512\times{512}$ 픽셀의 10개 영상으로부터 임의의 혼합행렬에 따라 생성된 복합지문과 복합영상을 각각 대상으로 시뮬레이션 한 결과, 뉴우턴법에 기초한 기존의 알고리즘과 할선법만에 기초한 알고리즘보다 각각 우수한 분리률과 빠른 분리속도가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 할선법의 이용은 뉴우턴법을 이용한 고정점 알고리즘보다 초기값에도 덜 의존하며, 문제의 규모가 커짐에 따른 비현실적인 분리시간도 해결할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

물리·화학적 방법을 이용한 Cyanobacteria와 식물 플랑크톤의 제어 (Control of Cyanobacteria and Phytoplankton Using Physico-chemical Methods)

  • Loess, PAC, MACF and plants were applied to the control of the phytoplankton bloom in laboratory and in field, In field experiment using oil fence, 5ppm concentration of coagulant(PAC) was observed to be effective in controlling the cyanobacterial bloom, resulting in 90% removal of cyanobacteria and phytoplankton from the water column, hi case of Synedra sp., however, only 50% of biomass decreased with the same PAC concentration. MACF(micro-air bubble coagulation and floating), a kind of physicochemical method, was applied to the column of the Kyongan stream and resulted in over 80% chlorophyll a and 73.5% TP removal, Chlorophyll a and total phosphorus were effectively removed from water body when 2.0 g/L of loess with the particle radius of 125 ${\mu}m$ was inputted. In case of experiments involving plants, big cone pine, gingko, and pine needle were observed to be effective in restraining phytoplankton bloom at 0.5g/200ml level. During a field test done at Kyungan stream, where Microcystis heavily occurred, Pine needle and big cone pine were observed to be effective on suppressing algal growth.

수치해석기법에 의한 매설관의 베딩보강 설계방안 (Design Approach for Bedding Reinforcement of a Buried Pipeline Based on Numerical Modeling)

  • 본 연구에서는 유한요소해석을 통하여 부등침하를 받는 매설관의 베딩보강에 관한 적용성을 검토하였다. 지반부등침하가 발생하는 현장 조건을 크게 세 가지로 구분하였으며 각 경계조건별로 베딩 강성에 따른 매설관의 변형형태와 변형억제효과를 분석하였다. 기존의 매설관 설계방법인 경험적 방법에 본 연구의 해석적 방법을 가미하여 현장조건에 따른 매설관의 베딩보강방법을 제시하였다. 철근 콘크리트 베딩보강 방안을 제시하여 일반현장에 실용적으로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 설계방안에는 기존의 경험적 방법에 의하여 제시된 표준단면도의 선택과 본 연구에서 수행된 수치해석 결과를 바탕으로 제시된 베딩두께 결정 절차와 방법이 함께 반영되어 있다.

Energy absorption of the ring stiffened tubes and the application in blast wall design

  • Thin-walled mental tubes under lateral crushing are desirable and reliable energy absorbers against impact or blast loads. However, the early formations of plastic hinges in the thin cylindrical wall limit the energy absorption performance. This study investigates the energy absorption performance of a simple, light and efficient energy absorber called the ring stiffened tube. Due to the increase of section modulus of tube wall and the restraining effect of the T-stiffener flange, key energy absorption parameters (peak crushing force, energy absorption and specific energy absorption) have been significantly improved against the empty tube. Its potential application in the offshore blast wall design has also been investigated. It is proposed to replace the blast wall endplates at the supports with the energy absorption devices that are made up of the ring stiffened tubes and springs. An analytical model based on beam vibration theory and virtual work theory, in which the boundary conditions at each support are simplified as a translational spring and a rotational spring, has been developed to evaluate the blast mitigation effect of the proposed design scheme. Finite element method has been applied to validate the analytical model. Comparisons of key design criterions such as panel deflection and energy absorption against the traditional design demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design in blast alleviation.

상자형 복부판의 좌굴 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Buckling Behavior of the Web of Box Girders)

  • The buckling behavior of the web of steel girders are largely dependent on the size and the location of stiffeners and the restraining effect of top and bottom flanges. Elastic and inelastic buckling analyses based or the Spline Finite Strip Method were executed to study the stiffening effect of the longitudinal stiffener on the web of box girders and to find how the top and bottom flanges had effects on the web, where geometric boundary conditions were limited by both hinged, both fixed and the flange sections. The basic assumption for the longitudinal end boundary conditions was that the vertical stiffeners had the rigidity enough to force nil deflection line on the web panel so that the junction line between web and vertical stiffener was assumed to be hinged boundary conditions. The provisions on the longitudinal stiffener of the plate and box girders of the Korean Standard Highway Bridge Specifications(1995) and AASHTO Specifications(1994 LRFD) were compared with the results obtained numerically for the various longitudinal stiffener size of box girders. Simple equations and design curves for the longitudinal stiffener of the web were proposed for the practical use.

연약지반상 팽이기초 적용에 따른 지지특성 (The Bearing Capacity of Top Base Foundations in Soft Ground)

  • Top Base Foundation(TBF) is a stabilization method for light weight structures particularly in the soft ground. It is widely used for the increment of bearing capacity and restraining settlement of foundations when the bearing capacity of ground is not enough. However, when the design values from exiting Japanese standard are compared with the observation values from the field measurement, the bearing capacity of exiting standard estimated smaller For this reason, it is necessary to establish more reasonable prediction technique considering to understand the behavior of TBF in soft ground. In this study, 1/5 scale model tests were performed in the laboratory. Also, full scale tests were carried out in order to investigate the behavior of TBF with various shapes. In addition, about 100 sites measurement data were evaluated to investigate the behavior of TBF in various ground conditions. Based on the results of the model tests and field measurement data, it was possible to establish more reasonable the bearing capacity equation of TBF considering various N-value of soil, the effect of underground water and failure shapes.

신장공여자와 신장수혜자를 가진 가족들의 사회심리적 적응 (Psychosocial Adjustment in Families with Kidney Donor or Recipient)

  • The purpose of this study was to generate a grounded theory of how families with kidney donor or recipient coped with kidney transplantations. Interview data from twelve families involved in kidney transplants was analyzed using the grounded theory method. Data analysis revealed that “protecting the family” was the main theme that represented family member experiences. In order to maintain family function and to protect the family from breaking up, family members had to adjust the family structure from the traditional style of a husband-centered family, to one that was patient health -centered. The process of this adjustment was a very long and difficult one, taking several years from the recognition of the kidney disease to the kidney transplants. Family members, especially spouses, employed nine different strategies to deal with various problems and conflicts which occurred during the process : 1) paying attention to the patient's illness and complications ; 2) accepting the patient's illness as the family's illness as well ; 3) managing the patient's illness and complications that occured ; 4) being thrifty ; 5)supporting the kidney donor ; 6) accepting and replacing the lost roles of the patient ; 7) keeping composure and encouraging the patient ; 8) sustaining the patient's independence ; 9) self-restraining sexual desires. These findings suggest that there is a developmental process where family members adjust to a kidney transplant over time. There is also a need for increased social and psychological health services for all family members over the course of kidney transplants.

  • 기존 골조구조물의 횡 변위 조절이 가능한 댐퍼 시스템을 개발하기 위한 목적으로 상세개발 및 성능실험을 실시하였다. 개발 상세는 기둥간 보의 변형을 방지하기 위하여 고안된 ALD및 층간변위를 제어하기 위하여 고안된 AWD로 구분되며, 기존 연구결과의 비보강 BF를 비교대상으로 사용하였다. 파괴양상, 하중-변위 곡선, 포락선, 최대강도, 강성저하 및 에너지 소산능력 등을 비교 평가하였으며, ALD 및 AWD의 내진보강효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 아라미드 시트로 기둥을 구속하는 공법이 내진성능 향상에 매우 우수함을 확인하였다.

Storey-based stability analysis of multi-storey unbraced frames

  • This paper presents a practical method to evaluate the effective length factors for columns in multi-storey unbraced frames based on the concept of storey-based elastic buckling by means of decomposing a multi-storey frame into a series of single-storey partially-restrained (PR) frames. The lateral stiffness of the multi-storey unbraced frame is derived and expressed as the product of the lateral stiffness of each storey. Thus, the stability analysis for the multi-storey frame is conducted by investigating the lateral stability of each individual storey, which is facilitated through decomposing the multi-storey frame into a series of single-storey PR frames and applying the storey-based stability analysis proposed by the authors (Xu and Liu 2002) for each single-storey PR frame. Prior to introducing decomposition approaches, the end rotational stiffness of an axially load column is derived and rotational stiffness interaction between the upper and lower columns is investigated. Three decomposition approaches, characterized by means of distributing beam-to-column rotational-restraining stiffness between the upper and lower columns, are proposed. The procedure of calculating storey-based column effective length factors is presented. Numerical examples are then given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed procedure.
