The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibilities on Consumer Loyalty in Indonesia : The Moderating Effect of CSR

  • This paper tried to examine the effect of the policy on companies' CSR activities and what kind of a role does CSR have in determining Customer Loyalty in Indonesia. This paper is divided into two parts, the first part is designed to find out whether the Indonesian government law has successfully made the companies perform better CSRs. We do this by using the ICGC Index of the companies registered and comparing their scores before and after the implementation of the policy. We will then use the paired sample t-test to find out if there is an increase in the overall scores of the companies and/or only the natural resource-related companies. The result showed an upward trend in the ICGC scores for all the companies which the Indonesian government law is intended to. In the second part, Manfred Schwaiger's components and parameters of corporate reputation was referred and used on Indonesian customers. We asked participants whether they think natural resource-related companies perform better CSRs and then we also tried to find out what factors really affect their loyalty towards companies or brands by conducting Multiple Regression Analysis. From the 4 factors that we have prepared, which consist of Performance, CSR, Quality and Attractiveness, Quality is the most influential towards determining our survey participants' Customer Loyalty. Surprisingly, CSR is insignificant in directly influencing Customer Loyalty. But, our research did find out that CSR does moderate Quality and Performance in their relationship with Customer Loyalty. Meaning that CSR has no effect in a direct relationship but it can increase the effect of Quality and Performance in determining Customer Loyalty. Unfortunately, CSR has no moderating effect in increasing the effect of Attractiveness towards Customer Loyalty.

  • 공경비와 함께 국가안전의 한 축을 형성하고 있는 민간경비는 궁극적으로 방범, 방재, 방화 등 총체적인 안전산업이다. 즉, 민간경비 산업은 방범, 방재, 방화 등 안전을 위협하는 각종 요인들에 대한 토탈 안전서비스를 제공하는 공공성과 기업성을 동시에 갖는 산업이다. 우리나라의 민간경비 산업은 경비수요의 다양화 등 여건의 급속한 변화로 인하여 경비분야의 업무도 기계경비의 활성화 등 단순 업무의 수준을 벗어나 점차 전문성이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 즉, 사회안전이라는 국가적 중요성에 기인하여 공공의 이익보호 차원에서 사회안전 종사자에 대한 전문성 확보가 무엇보다 중요하다. 특히, 민간경비 분야에서 화재라든지 가스폭발 등과 같은 재난상황에 대한 관심이 증폭되는 상황에서 민간경비 분야의 위기관리 능력은 그 무엇보다 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 시민의 안전을 위협하는 각종 범죄, 재난, 화재를 예방하는 업무를 실시하는 민간경비원들의 위기관리 능력 제고를 위한 교육훈련 시스템의 개선방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 민간경비 산업에 있어 위기관리 업무의 특수성과 전문성에 비추어 보다 경비원들에 대한 내실있는 교육훈련을 강화해야 한다. 또한, 현재 경호경비 분야의 유일한 국가공인 자격증인 경비지도사 시험제도를 민간경비원들의 위기관리 능력 극대화에 중점을 두어 시험과목과 교육 프로그램을 개선해야 한다.

국민건강증진사업 인력 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Health Professional Training Program for National Health Promotion Services)

  • National health promotion services are any planned combination of comprehensive and specific services to help people to achieve and maintain health. The purpose of the service activities is to identify health needs, to obtain information and resources and to achieve change of individuals, families, groups, or entire communities. It also includes environmental support of social, political, economic, and organizational policy and regulatory arrangements bearing on behavior or more directly on health. To be most effective, the service must be planned and delivered by health professional. Therefore, the aim of this study has been to develop a health professional training program for national health promotion. The specific aims of this study were: 1) to clarify the roles, responsibilities and competencies of health promotion practitioners; 2) to help health promotion practitioners to get the knowledge, skills, and abilities for any heath promotion project or program that seeks to improve health; 3) to help health promotion practitioners to acquire the skills and abilities to encourage people to participate in the health promotion project, to access the health needs and available community resources, and develop community-wide health promotion program strategies. The health professional training program developed in this study included factors affecting education, the demands of training program and roles and responsibilities of health promotion practitioners. This study also developed the curriculum for health promotion practitioners. The curriculum had six topics: 1) government's health promotion policies and projects or programs; 2) health management and plan; 3) recent health issues and future perspectives; 4) data on various health status indices; 5) strategies to implement health promotion projects or programs; and 6) introduction of some effective and comprehensive health promotion projects or programs.

국가기록평가의 권한과 책임 분석: 영국, 미국, 캐나다, 호주 중앙 및 연방정부 기록의 평가를 중심으로 (A Study on the Distribution of Authorities and Responsibilities to Appraise Records of Central or Federal Governments in Britain, the USA, Canada, and Australia)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 국가기록평가의 권한과 책임의 분배를 기록보존기관과 기록생산기관의 두 주체의 측면에서 분석하는 것이다. 분석 대상은 영국, 미국, 캐나다, 호주의 법규와 정책의 내용을 중심으로 하였으며, 두 주체의 권한 책임을 다루는 항목을 분석한 후, 각국의 국립기록청이나 생산기관 한쪽에 권한이 집중되는 유형과 양 주체에 권한이 분배되는 분산형을 비교분석하였다. 분석 결과, 영구보존기록을 결정하고 아카이브 이관을 승인하는 권한은 주로 국립기록청 집중형에 가깝게 나타났다. 이와 비교하면, 개별 기관의 공공기록을 식별하고 처분일정표를 작성 및 승인함에 대해서는 국립기록청과 생산기관이 역할과 책임을 나누는 분산형이 다수를 차지하고 있었다. 나아가, 국가기록의 평가 행위별로 권한과 책임이 구분될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 국가기록원 및 생산기관이 각각 어떠한 평가 과정에 더 집중할 수 있을지를 논하는 데에 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

델파이 기법을 이용한 치과위생사 직업윤리 적용기준 도출 (Derivation of professional ethics application criteria for dental hygienists using the Delphi method)

  • Objectives: We classified items required for dental hygienists' ethics training by domains. We administered a survey on experts using the Delphi method to collect opinions for guiding future trainings. Methods: 33 participants were selected and analyzed using the Delphi method thrice. Results: For relationships with patients, the item "1.3.1.1 I can keep the confidentiality of the information obtained from patients, including mature minors, related to their specific disease and treatment during medical care as well as other personal information of the patients." had the highest mean value (mean=4.88). For medical and social relations, "2.3.2.2 I can understand how staff provide dental services as a team and explain a dental hygienist's roles and responsibilities that enable a team to function effectively." had the highest mean value (mean=4.85). For individual specialized fields, "3.1.1.1 I can explain the roles and responsibilities in public health of individuals, the public, the state and professional dental hygienist." showed the highest mean value (mean=4.82). Conclusions: We identified 3 categories, 14 sub-categories, and 53 items on the scope of training and standards for ethical competencies for practical applications in professional ethics training of dental hygienists.

Discrepancies Between Implementation and Perceived Effectiveness of Leading Safety Indicators in the US Dairy Product Manufacturing Industry

  • Background: In the United States, the dairy product manufacturing industry has consistently had higher rates of work-related nonfatal injuries and illnesses compared to the national average for industries in all sectors. The selection and implementation of appropriate safety performance indicators are important aspect of reducing risk within safety management systems. This study examined the leading safety indicators implemented in the dairy product-manufacturing sector (NAICS 3115) and their perceived effectiveness in reducing work-related injuries. Methods: Perceptions were collected from individuals with safety responsibilities in the dairy product manufacturing facilities. OSHA Incident Rate (OIR) and Days away, restricted and transferred (DART) rates from 2013 to 2018 were analyzed. Results: The perceived most effective leading were safety observations, stop work authority, near miss reporting, safety audits, preventative maintenance, safety inspections, safety training attendance, and job hazard analysis/safety analysis, respectively. The 6-year trend analysis showed that those implementing all eight top indicators had a slightly lower rates than those that did not implement all eight. Production focused mentality, poor training, and lack of management commitment were perceived as the leading causes of injuries in this industry. Conclusion: Collecting leading indicators with the unique interest to meet the regulatory requirements and to document the management system without the actual goal of using them as input to improve the system most probably will not lead to an effective reduction of negative safety outcomes. For leading indicators to be effective, they should be properly selected, executed, periodically evaluated and actions are taken when necessary.

컨테이너 내륙운송에 있어서 운전기사에 대한 컨테이너 관리의 전가문제에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Transfer of Container Management Responsibilities to Drivers in the Inland Transportation of Containers)

  • 우리나라에서 화물 수송분담율을 가장 많이 차지하는 것이 도로운송이다. 도로 컨테이너 운송은 컨테이너 운송의 출발점이자 완결점일 뿐만 아니라 매우 복잡하고 종사자 또한 많다. 육상물류에서 핵심 역할을 하고 있는 컨테이너 운전기사의 본업은 컨테이너를 항만 및 터미널에서부터 목적지까지 운송해 주는 것이다. 그러나 운송과정에서 컨테이너의 청소 및 데미지 컨테이너의 관리 등 본업외에도 여러 가지 컨테이너 관리의무를 묵시적으로 전가받고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 동 사안에 대해서는 그동안 거의 연구가 되고 있지 않은 상황이다. 본 연구는 컨테이너 운전기사의 근로환경에 대해 파악하고, 컨테이너 관리 작업에 대한 실태와 현황을 실증적으로 분석했다. 나아가 선사, 터미널, 화주별로 컨테이너 관리 요구 정도의 차이가 있는지 분석하는 한편 조사지역별 요구사항의 차이를 분석하고, 컨테이너 관리 전가문제에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다.

프로젝트를 위한 프로젝트 관리의 역할 (Project Management : Simplifying or Exacerbating)

  • The purpose of this research is to initiate discussion to simplify existing tools and methods for managing projects which make project management a harder job to perform and a tougher task to handle. Additionally, summarizing the definitions of "project" that have been found from reviewing the relevant literature, it deliberates on revising the duties and responsibilities of project manager and proposes performance expectancy triangle explaining a relationship among accountability, responsibility and authority - the Tri-butes. It sheds light on several factors critical to the success of projects. Finally, we propose a function indicating that customer demands or desires greatly affect project complexity.

아동 성학대 대응체계와 소아청소년과 의사의 역할 (Child sexual abuse and pediatricians)

  • Child sexual abuse is not a rarely encountered problem. Child sexual abuse is a pediatric disease entity with lifelong impact. Child sexual abuse, different from sexual assault, is not always accompanied by violent force and usually repeated over a period of time. Child sexual abuse should be approached by multidisciplinary team experts. Every pediatrician should know the child protection network in his district and be competent in the child sexual abuse medical evaluation and treatment as a primary doctor. In order to accomplish that goal, the Korean Pediatric Society should change the pediatric residency training curriculum and foster child sexual abuse experts. Pediatricians have responsibilities to do their active role in response to children at risk.

온라인 정보기술 환경과 참고사서의 역할 재고 (Online Information Technologies and the Changing Roles of Reference Librarians)

  • 온라인정보기술 환경이 참고봉사에 어떤 특성과 변화를 가져오는지를 구체적으로 검토하였다. 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 고찰하였으며, 경우에 따라 국내 도서관의 사례조사도 실시하였다. 다음으로 이러한 특성과 변화가 이용자에 대한 참고사서의 기본적 중재역할인 정보제공, 교육, 상담, 평가 기능에 어떻게 영향을 미치게되는지 분석하였다. 변화된 상황에서 참고사서의 사명에 대한 개념적 기반을 보다 명백히하고 새롭게 확인된 역할을 실행하기 위해 필요한 자질을 재고해 보는데 본 논고의 궁극적 의의가 있다.
