  • The sample of this study on sibling relationships consisted of 40 pairs of preschool siblings and their mothers. Results were that elder siblings initiated more behavior, initiated more negative behavior, and responded with more negative or no response to affirmative behavior initiated by the younger siblings. Younger siblings exhibited more responsive behavior, initiated more affirmative behavior, showed more affirmative responses to or imitation of affirmative behavior, and imitation of negative behavior than elder siblings. Male pairs exhibited more physical affirmative interaction than female or male-female pairs. Female pairs exhibited more lingual affirmative interaction than male or male-female pairs. Siblings with similar temperaments showed more boastful or no response to negative behaviors than siblings with differing temperaments. Siblings with differing temperaments exhibited more affirmative behaviors than siblings with similar temperaments.

다층 패널의 피탄충격거동에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Shock Behavior of Multi-layered Panels)

  • In this paper, the characteristics of shock behavior of multi-layered panels under impact were studied. The panels consist of four different lightweight materials including al, al-foam, rubber and FRP in order to enhance their shock energy absorption. A commercial code, Ls-dyna was used to build the numerical model and study shock behavior based on the analysis of shock response spectrum and peak response acceleration. The reliability of the numerical model was estimated by its comparison with the experimental results acquired under the same impact conditions.

The role of slenderness on the seismic behavior of ground-supported cylindrical silos

  • This paper reports on the results of a parametric study, which examines the effects of varying aspect ratios on the dynamic response of cylindrical silos directly supported on the ground under earthquake loading. Previous research has shown that numerical models can provide considerably realistic simulations when it comes to the behavior of silos by using correct boundary conditions, appropriate element types and material models. To this end, a three dimensional numerical model, taking into account the bulk material-silo wall interaction, was produced by the ANSYS commercial program, which is in turn based on the finite element method. The results obtained from the numerical analysis are discussed comparatively in terms of dynamic material pressure, horizontal displacement, equivalent base shear force and equivalent bending moment responses for considered aspect ratios. The effects experienced because of the slenderness of the silo in regards to the seismic response were evaluated along with the effectiveness of the classification system proposed by Eurocode in evaluating the loads on the vertical walls. Results clearly show that slenderness directly affects the seismic response of such structures especially in terms of behavior and the magnitude of the responses. Furthermore the aspect ratio value of 2.0, given as a behavioral changing limit in the technical literature, can be used as a valid limit for seismic behavior.

비정형 구조물의 평면 회전축과 코어의 이동에 따른 지진응답분석 (Analysis of Seismic Response by the Movement of the Plane Rotation Axis and the Core of Atypical Structures)

  • When the center of stiffness and the center of mass of the structure differ under the seismic load, torsion is caused by eccentricity. In this study, an analysis model was modeled in which the positions of the core and the plane rotation axis of a 60-story torsional atypical structure with a plane rotation angle of 1 degree per floor were different. The structural behavior of the analysis model was analyzed, and the earthquake response behavior of the structure was analyzed based on the time history analysis results. As a result, as the eccentricity of the structure increased, the eccentricity response was amplified in the high-rise part, and the bending and torsional behavior responses were complex in the low-order vibration mode. As a result of the analysis, the maximum displacement and story drift ratio increased due to the torsional behavior. The maximum story shear force and the story absolute maximum acceleration showed similarities for each analysis model according to the shape of the vibration mode of the analysis model.

차량 감/가속시의 엔진의 동적 응답 해석 (Analysis of Transient Response of an Engine to Throttle Tip-in/Tip-out)

  • In this paper dynamic responses of an engine, which is supported by hydraulic mount, to throttle tip-in/Tip out are analyzed. Because the hydraulic mounts have non-linearity that the characteristics of stiffness and damping vary with frequencies, it is difficult to analyze the dynamic behavior of an engine using general integral algorithms. Convolution integral and relationship between unit impulse response functions and frequency response functions are therefore used to simulate the transient behaviors of an engine indirectly. In time domain, impulse response functions are calculated by two-side discrete inverse courier transform of frequency response function achieved by laplace transform of equations of motion. Considering the fact that the shapes of behavior of an engine simulated by the proposed method are in good agreement with test results, it is confirmed that the proposed method is very effective for the analysis of transient response to throttle tip-in/out of an engine with hydraulic mounts.

Advanced approach to design of small wind turbine support structures

  • In this work we present an advanced approach to the design of small wind turbine support steel structures. To this end we use an improved version of previously developed geometrically exact beam models. Namely, three different geometrically exact beam models are used, the first two are the Reissner and the Kirchhoff beam models implementing bi-linear hardening response and the third is the Reissner beam capable of also representing connections response. All models were validated in our previous research for a static response, and in this work they are extended to dynamic response. With these advanced models, we can perform analysis of four practical solutions for the installation of small wind turbines in new or existing buildings including effects of elastoplastic response to vibration problems. The numerical simulations confirm the robustness of numerical models in analyzing vibration problems and the crucial effects of elastoplastic response in avoiding resonance phenomena.

말뚝식 계류시설의 표준설계응답스펙트럼 해석법 적용성 연구 (Study on the Applicability of Standard Design Response Spectrum Analysis Method for Pile-type Mooring Facilities)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 말뚝식 계류시설에 대해 현행 실무에서 주로 적용하고 있는 응답스펙트럼 해석법에서 표준설계응답스펙럼의 적용성에 대해 연구하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 다양한 지층조건을 고려한 Proshake 1차원 부지응답을 수행하여 현행 표준설계응답스펙트럼과 비교하고, Abaqus를 활용한 지반-말뚝 모델링으로 시간이력해석을 수행하여 지반-말뚝 동적거동 특성을 분석하였으며, 잔교시설이 설치되는 경사지반에 대해 Abaqus를 활용한 2차원 부지응답해석을 수행하여 응답스펙트럼의 기준면 선정방안을 검토하였다. 연구 결과 말뚝식 계류시설의 지반-말뚝 동적거동 특성과 경사지반의 특성을 고려할 경우 현행 표준설계응답스펙트럼의 적용성에 문제가 있으며 개선이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다.

정보보안 관련 조직시민행동에 대한 연구: 개인 전망, 조직 목표지향성 관점을 중심으로 (A Study on the Information Security Related Organizational Citizenship Behavior: From Prospect Theory and Goal Orientation Theory Perspective)

  • 연구 목적은 조직원의 정보보안 관련 조직시민행동과 연관되는 인지과정의 영향관계를 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법은 개인의 전망차원(이익, 손실)과 조직의 목표지향성 차원(성취지향, 안정지향)의 교차설계를 실시하고, 정보보안인지요인은 분배공정성, 대처효능감, 자기효능감, 그리고 조직시민행동으로 구성하였다. 연구결과 전망차원은 대처효능감과 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 이익의 영향력이 손실보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 목표지향성은 대처효능감과 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 성취지향의 영향력이 안전지향보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 정보보안 요인간의 관계를 설명한 연구모형은 분배공정성, 대처효능감, 조직시민행동간의 부분매개모형으로 검증되었다. 연구의 시사점은 개인 의사결정 요인과 조직 문화 요인을 복합적으로 고려하여 정보보안 전략 수립을 하는 것이 필요함을 제시한다.

스포츠 휴먼브랜드의 굿즈상품(Goods) 가치가 감정반응(PAD) 및 소비 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sports Human Brand's Goods Product Value on Emotional Response(PAD) and Consumption Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 스포츠 휴먼브랜드의 굿즈상품(Goods) 가치, 감정반응(PAD), 소비 행동 간 일어나는 현상을 분석하기 위해 2021년 10월 18일~2022년 1월 12일까지 온라인 서베이(URL), DM, E-mail 등을 활용하여 371명을 편의 표준추출법으로 표집하였으며, 불성실한 응답자 51명을 제외한 유효 표본 320명을 인과 관계(SEM)를 적용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 휴먼 브랜드의 굿즈 가치는 감정반응에 정(+)의 영향으로 가설이 채택되었다. 둘째, 감정반응은 소비 행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 가설이 채택되었다. 셋째, 휴먼 브랜드의 굿즈 가치는 소비 행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 부분적으로 가설이 채택되었다. 마지막으로 굿즈상품(goods) 가치와 소비 행동의 관계에서 감정반응의 간접효과는 통계적으로 유의 의미한 것으로 나타났다.

Chaotic Rocking Vibration of a Rigid Block with Sliding Motion Under Two-Dimensional Harmonic Excitation

  • This research deals with the influence of nonlinearities associated with impact and sliding upon the rocking behavior of a rigid block, which is subjected to two-dimensional horizontal and vertical excitation. Nonlinearities in the vibration were found to depend strongly on the effect of the impact between the block and the base, which involves an abrupt reduction in the system's kinetic energy. In particular, when sliding occurs, the rocking behavior is substantially changed. Response analysis using a non-dimensional rocking equation was carried out for a variety of excitation levels and excitation frequencies. The chaos responses were observed over a wide response region, particularly, in the cases of high vertical displacement and violent sliding motion, and the chaos characteristics appear in the time histories, Poincare maps, power spectra and Lyapunov exponents of the rocking responses. The complex behavior of chaotic response, in phase space, is illustrated by the Poincare map. The distribution of the rocking response is described by bifurcation diagrams and the effects of sliding motion are examined through the several rocking response examples.
