A Qualitative Study on Customer Management and Response of Apparel Shop Masters

  • The purpose of this study was to categorize customers types in accordance with current shop masters' perception of difficult customers and to identify their responding techniques and know-hows in dealing with those customers in detail, a qualitative study is carried out by conducting thorough interviews with the shop masters. The interview contained questions on occupational hold-ups of shop masters, types of hard-to-handle customers, techniques in handling difficult customers, their know-hows in customer managements and what they perceived as the qualities of a shop master. T The results were as follows: 1) Customers who are perceived as difficult by shop masters are categorized into six types, making unreasonable demands, pointing out product defects, disregarding salespersons, making no purchase after testing products, having no personality and having no response. 2) Responding techniques for difficult customers were categorized into three types, 'active response', 'standby' and 'polite refusal'. 3)The result from the question on know-hows of shop masters in customer management can be divided into 4 groups, providing special treatment or information, building one-to-one relationship with the customer, suggesting garments in accordance with the customer's taste and providing friendly customer service. 4) For the question on perceived qualities as a shop master, individual quality, customer management capacity, work experience and occupational knowledge were answered.

  • Multimedia database system can be improve data transferring efficiency by consulting catalogue database which is storing the object and serving multimedia meta-database and perform the pre-scheduling for data transferring and by delaying of transferring to reduce the responding timeand reordering the data by various method of transferring. By Introducing these techniques we can enhance the server resources utilizing, minimizing the users responding time and can decrease failure at the scheduling itself and easily search and transfer the information that the user wanted.   • 인적 물적 자원이 고밀화된 도시에서 발생하는 홍수 또는 침수는 도시의 기능을 마비시키거나 많은 인명피해를 발생시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 유역을 재해발생지점, 재해직접영향권, 재해간접영향권으로 구분하고 각 구역별로 적합한 재해저감 도시설계기법을 적용하여 피해를 최소화하고자 한다. 이를 위해서는 우선적으로 도시설계기법을 적용하여 시뮬레이션하고 정량적으로 효과를 검증할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내에서 사용되고 있는 도시유출모형을 활용하여 재해저감 도시설계기법의 효과 분석을 위한 적용성을 검토하였다. 검토결과로써 효과분석을 위한 FFC2Q모형, XP-SWMM과 같은 집중형 모형의 한계점을 제시하였다.

고령자의 감성 만족과 정신건강을 위한 스마트폰 응용 기술 (Application Technologies of Smart Phone for Emotional Satisfaction and Mental Health-care of the Elderly)

  • Considerations of how to facilitate aging-in-place(AIP) are becoming increasingly pertinent as care-givers are overwhelmed by an aging population. Aging friendly home-care services combined with IT can satisfy the needs of the elderly suffer from chronic diseases such as depression and dementia. Therefore, we propose future smart phone services and application technologies which can estimate emotional states of the aged and respond to the desire to be happy with mental health, connectedness and consolation from peoples. Firstly, we introduce depression measurement techniques to estimate the severity of depression using multiple sensors. At second, the emotional responding services are categorized to four parts and the details are described. Lastly, we propose the process to implement emotional communication and the application techniques(services) to fulfill the emotional satisfaction and mental healthcare for AIP using smart phone as a mediator.

데이터마이닝기법을 이용한 검색엔진의 검색효율성 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Retrieval Effectiveness in the Search Engines Using Data Mining Techiniques)

  • 본 연구에서는 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용한 검색엔진인, Northernlight와 Google과 일반메타탐색엔진인 Metacrawler를 정도률, 제현률을 기준으로 검색효율성을 측정하였다. 분석결과 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용한 검색엔진이 일반검색엔진에 비해 검색효율성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용한 검색엔진이 앞으로 검색효율성을 높이는데 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

사용자의 감성인식을 통한 감성통신 시스템 (An Emotional Communication System Using Emotion Recognition of Users)

  • This paper introduces a novel concept of 'Emotional Communication' for future smart phone. While traditional information based communication technologies focus on how to precisely transmit the content of message, emotional communication is intended to support and augment social relationship among people and to comfort the user to be happy. In this paper, we propose future communication services and core technologies which can estimate emotional desire of users and respond to the desire to be happy with connectedness and consolation from peoples. Firstly, we introduce emotion recognition techniques to estimate emotional desire of users. At second, the emotional responding services are categorized to four parts and the details are shown. Lastly we propose the process to implement emotional communication system and the main techniques to fulfill the system requirements for future smart-phone services.

Housing Policy Capacity and Indonesian Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Purpose: This study discusses how Indonesia's response to the Corona Virus Disease-19 pandemic based on the perspective of housing policy capacity which consists of resources, organizations, and networks, politics, systems, and finance. Research design, data and methodology: This study used a qualitative method through a literature review. Data collection techniques were carried out by searching various sources and literature related to housing capacity theory and various data on Indonesia's response to the Covid 19 pandemic. Based on a literature review, this study adapted and modified the five components of capacity, namely resource capacity, organizational and network capacity, political capacity, system capacity and financial capacity in Indonesia in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. Data analysis used analytical themes which consist of understanding the data, generating initial codes, looking for themes, reviewing themes, defining and naming themes, producing of manuscripts. Results: The results show that the weakness of the system capacity greatly affects Indonesia's housing policy capacity in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and on the other hand the five housing capacities are an integrated process within the housing policy framework in Indonesia, especially to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. Conclusions: The findings of this study are the importance of building a system capacity that is directly integrated with housing policy and the strengthening of the resources capacity, organizations, and networks, politics, and finance in the context of Indonesia's housing policy, especially in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

  • Plant proteomics is the large-scale studies of proteins, particularly on their structures and functions, governed by the physiological metabolism of plant cells. With the development of techniques and strategies in proteomics, proteomics approach is moving forward in systems biology handling sophisticated components of major signaling and biochemical pathways in plants responding to their environment. In Korea, pioneers in plant proteomics are trying to catch up with global trends in plant proteomics; these researchers are not only improving existing techniques in protein extraction but also developing new techniques in proteomics context. In the hot field of abiotic and biotic stress proteomics, 29 and 9 out of 74 papers have been published during the review period from 2005 to 2010, respectively. This present review article provides an overview on the output of Korean plant proteomers while paying special attention to both abiotic and biotic stress proteomics.

대학생들의 웹 기반 OPAC 검색기법 선호도와 혈액형에 대한 실험적 연구 (College Students' Preferences of Web-based OPAC Retrieval Techniques and their Blood Types: An Empirical Study)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 대학생들의 웹 기반 OPAC 검색기법에 대한 선호도를 분석하고 더불어 ABO식 혈액형에 따른 검색기법 선호도의 차이가 있는지를 실험적 연구를 통하여 분석하는 것이다. 데이터 수집은 자체개발한 설문지를 통하여 이루어졌고, K대학교 사회과학대학 재학생 101명으로부터 응답을 받았다. 수집된 데이터는 SPSS Windows Ver. 17.0을 사용하여 검색기법 선호도를 분석하기 위해서는 기술통계를, 혈액형에 따른 검색기법의 선호도를 분석을 위해서는 일원배치 분산분석을 각각 사용하였다. 데이터분석 결과 대학생들은 접근점으로 자료명을, 블리언 연산자로는 AND를, 제한검색으로는 발행연도와 주제분류를, 결과출력으로는 페이지당 출력건수 제한검색을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 검색기법 선호도와 서로 다른 ABO 혈액형 유형간의 차이에 대한 가설검정결과 전체 22가지 항목 중 3가지 항목이 채택되었다.

A hybrid conventional computer simulation via GDQEM and Newmark-beta techniques for dynamic modeling of a rotating micro nth-order system

  • In this paper, the free and forced vibration analysis of rotating cantilever nanoscale cylindrical beams and tubes is investigated under the external dynamic load to examine the nonlocal effect. A couple of nonlocal strain gradient theories with different beams and tubes theories, involving the Euler-Bernoulli, Timoshenko, Reddy beam theory along with the higher-order tube theory, are assumed to the mathematic model of governing equations employing the Hamilton principle in order to derive the nonlocal governing equations related to the local and accurate nonlocal boundary conditions. The two-dimensional functional graded material (2D-FGM), made by the axially functionally graded (AFG) in conjunction with the porosity distribution in the radial direction, is considered material modeling. Finally, the derived Partial Differential Equations (PDE) are solved via a couple of the generalized differential quadrature element methods (GDQEM) with the Newmark-beta techniques for the time-dependent results. It is indicated that the boundary conditions equations play a crucial task in responding to nonlocal effects for the cantilever structures.
