$Ni_{2-x}Zn_{x}Y$ - 고무 복합체의 복소투자율과 전파흡수특성 (The Complex Permeability and Microwave Absorbing Characterisics of $Ni_{2-x}Zn_{x}Y$ - Rubber Composites)

  • $Ni_{2-x}Zn_{x}Y$ - 고무 복합체의 ferrite 조성과 입자 크기 변화에 따른 복소투자율과 전파흡수 특성을 조사하였다. Ferrite 입자가 $1\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하인 경우에는 ferrite-고무 복합체가 단자구 거동을 하여 자연공명 현상만이 관찰되었다. $Ni_{2-x}Zn_{x}Y$ - 고무 복합체의 제 1정합주파수는 Zn 함량이 증가함에 따라서 저주파 대역으로 이동하였으며, 자연공명 주파수와 비례함을 알 수 있었다. 반면에 제 2정합주파수는 자연공명 주파수에 비례하지 않음을 확인하였다. 또한 복합 ferrite 전파흡 수체의 전파흡수 현상은 자벽공명보다는 자연공명에 크게 영향을 받음을 확인하였다.

  • Main vibration problems of a transaxle type forklift truck are caused by the resonance of engine excitation force and natural mode shade of major components such as engine-mount system, mast, and main frame. But, it is well known that the reduction of vibration is very difficult because of the limitation of structural modifications. In this paper, the vibration characteristics of engine-mast system including engine mount were firstly identified by the experimental and simplified numerical methods. And also, the free and forced vibration characteristics of a whole forklift truck were surveyed with modal test and ODS(operation deflection shape) measurement. Based on these results, the reliable finite element model was developed. Finally, various countermeasures were considered and applied to a real forklift truck and then its effects were confirmed.

$^{13}C$ Spin-Lattice Relaxation Study of Segmental Motions in n-alkanes: n-Undecane and n-Dodecane

  • The motions of carbon-chain backbone in n-undecance and n-dodecane dissolved in CDCl3 are investigated by 13C NMR relaxation study. For this purpose a model of C - C backbone motions for these molecules is introduced that takes into account the cooperativities between rotations about two $\beta$-coupled C - C bonds. In this model it is assumed that the major conformational interconversions occurring in the inner part of the chain involve the type II jumps only, although at terminal part of the chain both type II and type III motions are assumed to take place. Information of the rate constants of these conformational transitions could be extracted by comparing the T1's calculated on the basis of the assumed model with those observed over the temperature range of 248 - 308 K. The calculations were performed according to the method proposed by Wittebort and Szabo. The activation energies, ranging from ca 12 to 20 kJ/mol, could be obtained from the Arrhenius plots of these calculated rate constants.

  • In this paper, the resonance characteristics of SMR-type FBAR devices annealed by three different annealing methods are investigated and compared. The resonance characteristics could be effectively improved by the proposed efficient annealing method which can optimize the annealing conditions. It seems very useful for improving the performance of the SMR-type FBAR devices in a cost-effective way.

  • This paper proposes the boost input type resonant power supply for driving the magnetron device of the high-capacity microwave oven. Circuit topology of the proposed power supply is the boost input type resonant converter which uses the resonance between transformer leakage inductance and resonance capacitance. Proposed power supply obtains high power factor more than 98% through continuous current mode pulse width modulation. To verify the validity of the proposed power supply, operation principle in the steady state is analyzed and experimental results are presented.

  • 음파와 진동에너지를 활용하는 음파기술의 응용 연구분야로 음향공진 및 맥진동 현상을 이용하여 기액상에서 산소절달효율을 극대화 할 수 있는 폐수처리용 음향공진 산기관의 개념을 제안하였으며 원리와 성능시험을 수행하였다. 또한 저압용 헬름흘쯔 공진기, 실린더형 및 고리형 반사공진기 그리고 복합 공진시스템의 설계개념과 원리를 구현하였다. 물질전달 과정을 촉진하는 음향공진 에너지는 산소전달효율을 높여주며, 노즐에서 분출하는 공기 제트의 불평형에 의해 발생하는 주기적인 맥진동 현상은 미세한 공기방울을 만들어 내는데, 이 두가지 원리가 가장 잘 적용되는 고리형 반사공진기(AJR)의 성능이 가장 우수한 것으로 평가되었으며 기존의 산기관 보다도 $20{\sim}30%$ 정도 높은 효율을 실험으로 확인하였다.

An ESR Study of Amino Acid and Protein Free Radicals in Solution Part Ⅴ. an ESR Study of Gamma-Irradiated Lysozyme in Frozen Aqueous Solutions

  • An electron spin resonance study has been made on lysozyme in. frozen aqueous solutions irradiated with $_{60}Co$ r-rays in air at $77^{circ}K.$ Water resonances are dominant when the concentration and the temperature are both below 20% and $130^{circ}K$ respectively. More solute radicals are produced in the solution of higher concentration. Majority of the solute radicals results from direct hit of the radiation. The same types of radicals are induced at $77^{circ}K$ whether the substances are irradiated in the dry state or in frozen aqueous solution. Based on these results, it is assumed that the number of ESR centers produced by the secondary intermolecular radical reacions and stabilized in aqueous solutions may depend on the concentration of the solution, and the presence of water may facilitate the secondary radical reactions occuring in the solute molecules after heat treatment. Majority of the solute radicals above around $193^{circ}K$ are believed to react with oxygen to form peroxytype radicals. However, when the solution is subiected to heat-treatment at $265^{circ}K$ after irradiation at $195^{circ}K$ the peroxy-type resonance was not observed, suggestin that an appreciable amount of oxygen is condensed into the ice, at $77^{circ}K.$ in addition to the oxygen that has already been dissolved in solution and react with solute free radicals during the process of heat-treatment. When the solution contains $H_2O_2$, no water resonance but $HO_2$, type resonance was observed probably indicating that the radiation-induced OH radicals are trapped in $H_2O_2$ aggregates and react readily with $H_2O_2$ molecules to poroduce $HO_2$ type radicals even at $77^{circ}K.$.

압전 캔틸레버 스프링 구조물(SPCS)의 에너지 하베스팅 특성 (Energy Harvesting Characteristics of Spring Supported Piezoelectric Cantilever Structure (SPCS))

  • Spring supported piezoelectric cantilever structures (SPCS) were fabricated for vibration-based energy harvester application. We selected four elastic springs (A, B, C, and D type) as cantilever's supporter, each elastic spring has a different spring constant (S). The C type of SPCS ($S_C$: 4,649 N/m) showed a extremely low resonance frequency of 81 Hz along with the highest power output of 38.5 mW while the A type of SPCS ($S_A$: 40,629 N/m) didn't show a resonance frequency while. Therefore, it is considered that the lower spring constant lead to a lower resonance frequency of the SPCS. In addition, a tip mass (18 g) at one end of the SPCS could further reduce the resonance frequency without heavy degradation of power output.

  • This paper proposed one of various acoustic resonance reduction technique for three kinds of ceramic lamps (CDM-150, HCI-150, CMH-150). To reduce the acoustic resonance in the HID lamps, the researched results showed that the frequency modulated signal with the triangle waveform is very effective in order to drive th LCC type half-bridge inverter for HID lamp. Experimental results proved that the acoustic resonance could be rejected, if the adequate switching frequency band is selected and the driving signal frequency is modulated with a triangle waveform.

1/4파장 열음향 냉동기의 공명관 길이 의존 특성 연구 (An Experimental Study that depend on the Resonance Tube Length for a Thermoacoustic Refrigerator of 1/4 wave)

  • The thermoacoustic refrigerator bas not only considerable possibility but also commercial usability, because it bas high reliability, lower vibration, no moving part, and can easily be constructed. In this study, the resonance characteristics of the thermoacoustic refrigerator were investigated for better performance, varying length of the resonance tube to 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 700mm. In order to determine the optimum resonance tube length and the frequency, the $\lambda/4$ thermoacoustic engine and the similar apparatus of Wheatly type refrigerator were constructed. It was used air as a coolant. in the fifth harmonic, it was taken the highest ${\Delta}t$ that was $56.3^{\circ}C$ at 626Hz in 400mm tube with 40mm stack.
